I hope Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH will be able to do well & DAIGO was really happy when his single moved up from #14 to #6 . The handshake events are really helping him a great deal & he deserves it

He needs to get his 'revenge' back from Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH that's for sure xD after flopping horribly during when he released solo music under DAIGO☆STARDUST -_-

This's just really wonderful , I'm so pleased for DAIGO super big time & looks like I'm right in that the current ongoing handshake events have been a really big help for him . If not , Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH would have tanked big time :x

I think if this keeps up , Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH might stand a high chance to get Top 10 overall but seeing the single going up from #14 to #6 & now #4 , wow , even BREAKERZ wasn't able to accomplish that before until now :D

Dates revealed with regards to DAIGO's Historical Spacey Hug meetings

A follow up from this entry in which purchase for all 3 editions of DAIGO's Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen∞REBIRTH will qualify buyers for a lucky draw in which 1 of them is the Historical Spacey Hug meetings .

And now the dates have been announced on where & when it will be taking place with regards to the future lucky 5,555 people that will receive hugs from DAIGO xD

DAIGO's Historical Spacey Hug meetings will take place at Osaka on 16th Sept (Mon) & at Tokyo on 5th Oct (Sat) .

Time & venue wise for both dates , to be confirmed in due time .

That said , 2nd last handshake event for DAIGO will be taking place later today in the afternoon , at Osaka's Senri Serushi Square , followed by the final 1 tomorrow at Tokyo's MEGA WEB Toyota City Showcase

This weekend's handshake events are longer than the 1st 3 days , with this weekend's being 3 1/2 hours each o_o

I wonder if he can make it into the 20-25k range with all these events. o_o I hope so! Also 5,555 hugs for 3 editions of the single = 16,665 copies. It would be cool if he even reached 30-40k at this rate. :o Has any BREAKERZ single done that?

I'm not sure because before this , when I saw who else was releasing singles on 31st July besides him , my heart sanked as he was up against so many really strong artistes , such as Yamapi , Mizuki Nana , Kumi :dead2

But that said , Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH might stand a high chance to get Top 10 should this keeps up . I guess if not for the handshake events , DAIGO wouldn't be in this position at this point in time & he's doing a lot more better than expected , as compared to during the time when he flopped horribly when he released solo music under DAIGO STARDUST [his debut single MARIA only charted at #64]

Everlasting Luv / BAMBINO ~Bambino~ is their best selling single in their discography & it's their only single to have been #1 for the 1st 2 days

Let alone , it's also their only single to sell more than 30K . In general their chart ranking in Oricon is not very good

They can be in the top 5 in the 1st week & in the 2nd week , top 50/60 :dead2

This is pretty much how I felt about Summer Trip against Yamapi, Mizuki Nana, CNBLUE, and D-LITE but her single positions haven't been good for the past couple of years anyway so I guess it's nothing new. :P

I think a Top 10 placing is pretty secure at this point with him fighting for somewhere between #5-7 for the weekly chart. It's pretty cool to see him do even better than BREAKERZ with a solo single. :eek

It's sad as I do enjoy SUMMER TRIP but yeah her charting positions on Oricon for her singles hasn't been that good lately , other than for Go to the top

Guess this's what happens when he revealed to the whole of Japan on his family background which helped a great deal x)

He did considered to do that when he was DAIGO STARDUST but he didn't want to as he didn't want to ride on his late grandpa's name

Only when he was about to hit 30 some 5 years ago , he revealed it all in a press conference as he jokingly said that this's getting bad XD

Success definitely came late for him as he started in the business since he was 19 . During the early days of being in their fandom , I was suspicious over the big difference over how badly their mini album Ao no Mirai charted , as compared to their debut single SUMMER PARTY / LAST EMOTION that became their 1st Top 10 release in Oricon

But even without this , it's not the main reason on why I truly support them for such a long time as ultimately , their music's what draws me into liking them in the 1st place :yes

It's becoming rough for solo females on the singles charts these days. :( As long as she can keep up with Kana, Kyary, and Namie whose last singles sold between 15-25k I think it's good tbh

And thats the way it should be. :yes Kuu may not be the #1 artist of Japan like before but I'll continue to love and support her music no matter what sales or chart position she'll have. Hoping for the best for both Daigo and Kuu on the weekly charts. :yes

so true , you don't support an artiste just because he/she gets #1 all the time on Oricon , it just doesn't make sense to me

also not everyone who gotten #1's on Oricon all the time truly deserves them . There're many artistes out there who can't sell for nuts on Oricon but sometimes at the end of the day , they're the ones that make even better music than the mainstream artistes that always slay Oricon like there's no tomorrow

I think for both DAIGO & Kumi , they should done fine on Oricon & it's really no big deal to me if they're not able to get top 10 (should that happens) because they've tried their best if not release what they've done so

It's for them to count on the public to bring up or bring down their sales/chart ranking
