Kuu did a live concert for affection and it was never released?! Oh damn it. I'm still dreaming of a live performance for Can't Lose. ;__;

abestfah 8th September 2015 08:31 PM

i just finished watching her tour
this is not her best or any better than Japonesque and Bon Voyage tour for me
however, i love her energy that show up in every performance in this tour and every rearranged songs, they are more enjoyable for me ;)

I've always wanted to see a live performance of Can't Lose!

I finally had time to watch de concert and here it is my opinion about it:

Spoiler:
Pros & Cons

Pros:
- Great selection of songs, with a good balance between old and new songs.
- We can see that she is doing a little of her old style of performing (with BUT, Shake It Up, Hot Stuff) and I screamed when I saw the old break of BUT. haha
- The outfits were really beautiful, specially for the first section.
- She dances a lot! I don't think she ever had a concert where she was dancing so much.

Cons:
- The stage felt empty without a staircase, and it seems way too simple sometimes, even when we can clearly see that there are some things there beyond the big screen.
- I would change Lippy to the rock section and Like it to the first section, it felt weird the song being there.
- The performance of walk of my life wasn't that great, it seemed that she was trying so hard to give a "high quality" performance, but with playing the piano for 10 seconds, then floating with the piano around the stage, and then all those feathers... It was like her performance of 0ji mae no Tsunderela at the Taiwan Live, where she was on a floating couch. Like, really? haha
- She's getting repetitive with the opening, but that's a minor complaint.

Anyway, it was a really cool concert, not my favorite, but it's really good.

I love love LOVE the choreography for Lippy.

Watching the documentary, Kuu is my style icon tbh. As much as she looks like a member of the NWA who fell into a rainbow I think it works for her.

I always loved her fashion sense and style in general.
She seems to be able to wear anything and make it look good.
I'm sure I said this once

omg I loved your description :roflmao

jiarongisme 9th September 2015 01:40 PM

Kuu's definitely my fashion icon. I love how she plays around with different styles/cuts/prints and mix them around. They may clash sometime but she still seem to make them work.

Corvina 9th September 2015 04:21 PM

Kuu made a LINE post today, that she's checking the live show (again) at home. Guess it is for the DVD/BluRay this time, last time was for WOWOW.
Shouldn't be long now till we hear something!

Holly guacamole, affection live. wow. I never heard of it before. Someone should have recorded that live, at least couple of songs. It's a real shame no one did.

^ omg no the Brazilian Real x dollar rate ain't good at thr moment, let this best come out by December :laugh

pimenta 10th September 2015 02:02 AM

^ Second this. Importing anything right now will be terribly expensive... and I don't think the conversion rates will lower anytime soon >_<
I just purchased WOML and Summer of Love. I don't think I'll make another purchase of Kuu's releases until the end of the year...

abestfah 10th September 2015 04:17 AM

Excuse me
I just watch Tour documentary and find she looked depressed while playing bass, even throw away something and burst in tears. What does she say?

luna7996 10th September 2015 08:27 AM

Just spent an entire afternoon adding lyrics in romaji and english to my Kuu discography on itunes. Now I can sing along when I am listening to her music. yey!
