Each to his own then, cause I don't think it was better there.

No comments on the vocals about the FNS Kayousai one, the arrangement was lovely though. :yes

Corvina 7th December 2015 01:59 PM

Ah, you mean MS Ultra Fes.
Can't really remember her vocals there, but from my subjective feeling no Ai no Uta performance was notibely different than the other.
She does try to sing it kind of powerful and dramatic since some time, I do think it has something to do with it.

I'm not very familiar with globe's material but what I've heard from Ayu & Kuu's renditions make me want to check out the original version of the songs both of them covered , LOL

Kuu's take on Wanderin’ Destiny sounds really cool & spell binding . I definitely will download #globe20th -SPECIAL COVER BEST- when it gets released next week !

Minttulatte 7th December 2015 02:45 PM

Kuu's cover of Wanderin' Destiny sounds amazing. I definitely want to listen to it through in full when this cover album is out.

As for the On and On snippet from the 15th Anniversary concert, I really love it. It sounds like a song I've wanted to hear from Kuu for weeks now. I can't wait to hear the full thing now omg. I will totally listen to it on repeat for days~ :heart

ayumisrael 7th December 2015 03:10 PM

Wanderin' Destiny sounds so good! That whole cover album of globe was really made on point, each cover is top notch no less!!
(That cover even sound better than the recent new songs kuu released too!).
For On And On and the other new song, I prefer kuu doing winter/power ballads or more simplistic ballads like Pearl Moon/Your song/Gentle Words/unmei and the likes.

The 2 new ones are kinda nice but nothing special.

JIJI PRESS report of The Artist, we can hear a bit more from On And On and also you and Ai no uta (bless them for these videos without giant colorful wordart phrases and no one talking). On And On sounds really good to me :yes

pimenta 7th December 2015 05:27 PM

Kuu's version of Wanderin' Destiny is soooo much better than the original (which I don't like), I knew it would be much better with her vocals, it sounds great! :heart

All the outfits for this tour are so beautiful. Unfortunately I can't say the same about that horrid huge bun...

I won't judge On and On yet. This preview didn't impress me, but it's so short I don't wanna judge by it. I'll wait for a longer preview before I can say if I like it or not.

melissalove 7th December 2015 05:43 PM

Everything looks amazing though I hate her bun as well. Kumi sounds really good too.

kaled kalil 7th December 2015 06:10 PM

Wow I wasn't expecting a song with so much drama and awesomeness. One of my favorite covers of her already.

I'm loving everything about The Artist. I don't mind that much about the bun, it looks fine to me, specially after that horrendous wig from the ballad section of UNIVERSE Tour. haha

Gustavopc 7th December 2015 06:18 PM

^ Don't forget that disaster of a wig from the JAPONESQUE Tour ballad section. Not even Alaska Thunderfvck would wear that.

kaled kalil 7th December 2015 06:21 PM

That wig + that dress that made her look like a jellyfish... Argh. I can barely watch that section of the concert. haha

Gustavopc 7th December 2015 06:29 PM

^ That outfit always reminds me of this Pokémon:

kaled kalil 7th December 2015 06:47 PM

HAHAHAH cannot unsee now.

DevilsClap 7th December 2015 07:12 PM

I don't really like what I heard from the new songs if WOL so far..
but aside from that I love her singing you. The live seems really great.

Her globe cover is also reaaally good. The original sounded boring to me.

Awwww Inkay <3

Yeah sometimes the ballads segments wigs of kuu aren't complimenting, I'd rather she won't use any wigs in ballad segments at all.

Corvina 7th December 2015 09:56 PM

Kuu and her crew for the Artist lives:

There's nothing else to say but:

kaled kalil 7th December 2015 11:00 PM

The problem with the wigs is that sometimes, for the ballad segment, they are really good, like Dejavu Tour, Bon Voyage Tour and from Premium Night. But at the same time, some of them are so awful that it hurts, like JAPONESQUE Tour, UNIVERSE Tour, and also that wig from Black Cherry Tour that looks like a synthetic wig from a cosplayer who is a beginner.

But I love the fact that she wear wigs for her concerts. It makes the concert seems more dynamic, I don't know.

pimenta 8th December 2015 12:09 AM

Kuu has had quite a few weird wigs on her tours, but I don't mind most of them that much, but I just hate those huge buns so much... But Kaled is right, the UNIVERSE tour one was much worse, it looked disgusting, like a bunch of bees chose that wig to make a honeycomb.
