I'm wondering if in the live broadcast next week she's going to play one of the new songs?
Would be great. And right the day after there's Good Time Music.

On My Way please! I'm really curious what song she'll choose to perform for Good Time Music. Hope it's not the only performance of the era.

And can she take it easy on the claps; sounds like someone just dragged a sample from the bin into the mix and looped it - didn't even bother to add any effects to it.

Idk to me it just sounds like the most basic of basic that anyone can get.

When the album comes out, people will probably hate it and say its her worst album yet. After a year, they will praise it and say its her best album ever. Haha

Idk I didnt listen to any of the previews because they are just instrumentals. I think when the album is out, you need to put it on the stereo at full volume and then you can judge if it's good or not

For now, I'm loving this ballad that was used for a recent CM. I dont remember its name but its so beautiful

Edu , that will be Yorokobi no Kakera (from W FACE ~inside~) for the latest new AOKI CMs

Toniayu123 9th February 2017 05:06 PM

I don't think i can judge the songs from a 10 seconds instrumental preview. Up Until now there isn't anything mind blowing (and I agree they kinda sound like cheap demos), except that first preview we got on her website where she was actually singing which I loved it.
I just hope outside isn't as loud as WOML was. I don't hate the album, but I don't like it either.

Move on

ahtka-chan 9th February 2017 07:51 PM

People over this thread are so butthurt, oh my...

Also what's the use of dragging other artists?

You don't go there because you're not her fan and/or minimally interested in her music. If it was the case, you would be there complaining if you didn't like the new songs and hopefully/probably Hikki fans wouldn't get all salty at you.

What was the point in bringing up Fantome?

I'm eager to check out this album. I sort of lost track of her for a bit. Also, she looks gorgeous on the cover!

Yes that is. I'm loving this ballad , it gives me nostalgia

I want to know when Good Time Music will be broadcast. I know it's gonna be recorded during 02.15, but still.

Can I hope for at least one Music Station performance? Last time she promoted something was Lovely, 4 years ago...

About 90% of negative comments I've seen towards Kuu have always been from pretentious Utada fans who can't hear a single bad word about Utada's music but have no issue bashing other artists consistently. (mostly Ayu & Kuu). Usually I just ignore it since it's been so long since their behavior started but it gets annoying overtime.

From what I've seen the performances are usually aired about 3 weeks after being filmed, the March 7th show seems likely but earlier would be nice.

I'm also praying for a Music Station performance. Ai Otsuka, Mika Nakashima, Kaela Kimura, Mai Kuraki, have all performed in the last couple of years to promote their music. Kuu honestly has the worst management team ever. I hope they'll prove me wrong but they've been terrible handling her projects after Color The Cover.

thinkingoutloud89 9th February 2017 11:15 PM

^where has Kumi one of the worst management teams ever? are you crazy? She probably has one of the best, always coming up with ideas. It's probably her decision not to go just like Namie and Ayu - all of which are more busy with touring and family/private life.

kaled kalil 9th February 2017 11:41 PM

If you want a bad management team, you have to look to her sister's career. Her last (literally) attempt to keep relevant was a mess and it was barely half of the attention that she expected to get. Poor misono. http://avex.jp/misono/

Kumi has one of the best teams for sure, specially if we think of her name as a brand, releasing a lot of different things, from valentine's day gifts, to energy drinks.

But none of this is true. And what you wrote was an instigating comment. It's possible to like and criticized both in a respectful manner.

ALfromHELLSING 10th February 2017 01:46 AM

Wait. Outside doesn't have any tie-ins while Inside has already 4? Are they purposely trying to make Outside sell poorly. This is sad.

Did someone say that Cupcake lyrics are dirty? is there a translation for this song that I've missed.

oaristos 10th February 2017 02:07 AM

^ I think that's probably because companies and brands are more interested in having songs from W FACE -Inside- in their commercials and advertisements. I'm pretty sure rhythm zone might try to sell Kumi's songs, but the final decision doesn't come from them.

Can't really agree with anything you said, oh well.

kaled kalil 10th February 2017 02:29 AM

Oh gosh... :rolleyes

---

@ALfromHELLSING Actually 5 tie-ins:

http://avex-management.jp/artists/KOHDA/news/1045718/

They are really pushing -inside- a lot more, but this is expected.

a❤martian 10th February 2017 02:41 AM

Guys, come on! I think we are all fans of Kuu overall here, but just because someone doesn't like a current release doesn't mean they hate her and are bashing. I haven't liked a single Ayu album since like Rock n Roll Circus, but I still like to keep up and comment on her current releases, even if they aren't positive.

And let's not insult people's taste in music. Out dated is classic to some. Cheap is minimalstic to others. It's subjective. I think we can agree Kuu works hard and loves what she does. She, like Ayu, is making the kind of music that makes her happy. And we should be happy for them.

^ exactly what I'm trying to say. I may not like some of Kuu's releases, but I'll support her entirely because she's one of my favorite artists. Also she's just so positive and happy, how can you not?
