IKE's voice is so iconic in Japan's Rock Music. I hope he can recovers well and it will be amazing if he can re-join the band or release a solo project in a few years.

SPYAIR celebrated 12 years since they released their major debut single "LIAR" on the 11th. They opened this YouTube channel as a project to search for a new vocalist after IKE (Vo) withdrew earlier this March. It feels weird to hear a classic SPYAIR's song sung by a new vocalist. I mean he isn't bad, but it just make me miss IKE more .

But I can understand why the reminding members picked YOSUKE out of more than 1,000 people they saw IKE's singing voice is very distinct & for YOSUKE to sound almost 90% like IKE that's just wow That said, IKE gave YOSUKE his blessings for him to take SPYAIR to the next chapter of the group so at least there's no bad blood on this matter |
