Ooook...<world ceases to make sense>
Maybe the digital side of things is a lot bigger than we know? iono. I for one support lovely covers/booklets/artwork.

I think I'm going to take a nap before making dinner and then taking my differential equations final. I'd like most of all to hear Ayu's comments on the matter, but I guess that's not gonna happen. I just wonder how she feels right now.

norain 5th December 2006 01:38 AM

I'm just bleh. I don't really care/mind. :p I think I've gotten to the point of being an Ayu fan where nothing really matters except the music itself..

me too~ :yes

Might have better sales for next week, it's such a good album, it may stays longer in the chart...

Kouichi 5th December 2006 01:59 AM

For me the important is the quality of the CD, and Secret is a very good album, so the sales dont care IMO

s1012h 5th December 2006 02:01 AM

yeah i completely forgot ayaka and Ai
probably cause i don't listen to their music
but it's quite amazing that ayaka's debut album actually got #1
no female artist in japan has been able to debut with #1 for almost 10 years
i'm guessing ayu or hikki's debut album was the last debut #1 album before ayaka broke it

ayu_fan929 5th December 2006 02:09 AM

^No. BoA's debut album and Mika's debut album both hit #1 in 2002.

capsule 5th December 2006 02:17 AM

I don't know about the sales will be better in the second week. As far as I know, most of Japan albums have extremely high first week sales. But when it comes to the second week, the sales decreased pretty miserably..........

But, who knows right? It's not wrong to hope for the best. I will continue to support Ayu.

EXTRA: One of my friends always say that "there is no such thing as coincidence. Only the inevitables" I know what he mean by saying those words. But he said the same thing when I talked about this to him. What is that supposed to mean? Oh well. He and his precious philosophy again.....

truehappiness 5th December 2006 02:20 AM

He probably is saying that Ayu's sales are inevitably going to decline and etc..

And that this isn't just a coincidence..

simonlau 5th December 2006 02:24 AM

good
i expected 400K
but 386K is not bad for me

..:Hot:Like:Wow:.. 5th December 2006 02:26 AM

is'nt it still the first week of release?

Kogepan_19 5th December 2006 02:28 AM

I really hope Secret ends up like A Song for xx or LOVEppears, and charts for more than a year so it's sales could end up close to m(u) :( .

the angel song 5th December 2006 02:31 AM

I'm just happy the album turned out really great. :) 'Nuff said.

I think it would be more helpful to compare to the 1st week sales of other artists who have released non "best of" albums this year.

that was long long time ago
when nobody knows what the hell is mp3
and what the hell is download:no

Mad_Cactuar 5th December 2006 02:59 AM

That's horribly depressing. :(

But with Avex's new promotion technique, I doubt sales drop would be big. Only recently have Momentum and the other singles aired.

The worst part would be the release of Black Cherry.

jkm444 5th December 2006 03:02 AM

I think that this is pretty good for a first week sale. Ayu released only 2 singles this year and there was about a 4-5 month silence from ayu so its good hopefully it will sale better then miss understood.

ayu_fan929 5th December 2006 03:02 AM

Female studio albums 1st week sales over 100k
