I think her and Fedde Le Grand could make some amazing tracks. I liked that song when I first heard it but now that I've listened to it a bunch, it's grown on me a lot more. I really would like to see this happen.

I had a dream last night that I met Madonna at the mall and she was pushing her daughter in a stroller, which seemed weird because she's too old for that. I told her her daughter was adorable and she smiled and said "Thank you". It was pretty hilarious :D

Hypnosis Freestyled To Kabbalah's Prayers

Madonna's third day in Israel wasn't any different from her previous two at a Kabbalah conference at the David InterContinental Hotel in Tel Aviv.

After a day at the beach with friends, Guy Ritchie spent most of Friday at prayers in the main conference room with Ashton Kutcher.
He wasn't there alone, Madonna, Demi, Rosie and Karen Burge were at the women's hall, singing, dancing and some more praying.

Demi was wearing a long white mini and Ashton kept his white hat on and a Jewish "Talit", while Madonna is sticking with the same outfit and red cup we saw.

When it comes to dining, Madonna and Ritchie are eating away from the other guests in an intimate room by themselves.
On the other hand Rosie, Demi, Donna, Ashton and James Van Der Beek (yes he's there as well) are having dinner with everybody else.

Unlike some reports in the UK media, Madonna's kids did not come with her and no ceremony is planned.

Demi and Ashton went out last night and walked around on the boardwalk and were super nice to everybody, they both took pictures with kids, signed everything they were asked and Demi even talked to some kid's friend on his cell phone.

Today, Madonna brought Hypnosis with her, and he took over the border between the men's section and the women's.
Later in the day Madonna talked him into dancing freestyle on the stage while everybody were praying and singing.

Today Demi and Ashton were on the stage covered with the Jewish "talit" and red from the Tora.
Ashton's cell kept on ringing, until he finally he turned it off.

On Friday night the guests had a big party at the Hotel with some Israeli Celebes, that are close to the Kabbalah.

Madonna still wants to go out to Jerusalem and other places in Israel, but i haven't got a final word if and where she's going to go.
She was planned to take part at a big concert at the Caliph club on Sunday night, but tonight i got word she is planning on leaving Israel the same day, so we'll have to see if she'll show up or not.

In any event Madonna planes to head back to Israel for You Kippur.

I like the kind of wavy/curly hair she has in the pics with the president.

Me too, I think it's cute.

Inside Madonna's Meeting With Israeli President

The president of Israel and a Nobel Peace Prize winner Shimon Peres was the one who got Madonna out of her hotel and into the public eye.

Madonna requested to meet with him because she "personally admires the man" she said in the printed letter sent to his office.

The president agreed but asked her to wait until sundown on Saturday, and asked for her to travel to his house in Jerusalem.

And so she did, The singer and her husband arrived at 9pm local time and spent an hour and a half together.
Madonna told Peres "I refused to leave Israel before meeting you".
They tossed together for the new year and discussed the latest peace efforts in the region, kids education and music.

"I'm planning to add the topics we talked about to my new album", said Madonna, "I still can't believe I had the honor to welcome the new year with the president of Israel, In Israel, Shimon Peres, Whom I personally admire."

Madonna told Peres it's her 2nd visit to Israel and asked to learn about the country's roots, Peres gave her a quick history lesson about the Jewish people's journey that led to the rebuilding of Israel following the Holocaust back in 1948.

Madonna thanked him for the meeting and closed by saying "it was a dream come true".

Madonna is due to leave Israel on Sunday, and may come back for Yom Kippur.

I have some FANTASTIC news everyone!

Madonna Was Given Permission To Keep Adopted Malawian Son

Madonna will be allowed to keep her adopted Malawian son.

The ’Hung Up’ singer was visited by the head of Malawi’s Social Services earlier this month and has now been given the all-clear to formally adopt two-year-old David Banda.

Simon Chisale spent three days with Madonna, husband Guy Ritchie and her two other children, Lourdes, 10, and seven-year-old Rocco, at the family’s London mansion.

Chisale - who was assessing the couple’s suitability to adopt David - was particularly impressed with the measures the family has taken to make David feel at home.

He revealed that Madonna and Lourdes speak to David in his native language, Chichewa, and said the little boy had bonded very well with his new family.

According to reports, he told his colleagues: "When I arrived David was playing a card game with Rocco. Madonna told me he understands a bit of Chichewa and she fetched some tourist guide books to Malawi.

"She told me she has Malawian friends who pop in to teach the family Chichewa. She also has a Chichewa translation of her children’s book, ’The English Roses’."

Chisale claimed Madonna - who had been accused of using her celebrity status to fast-track the adoption - was the "perfect mother", at one point baking cakes while her children played happily.

Chisale was also impressed with David’s new lifestyle, telling friends: "The carpet is so luxurious it’s like walking on a live sheep."

The 49-year-old star was originally granted an 18-month interim adoption to take David out of the country last October.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed Madonna is ready to adopt again - a 20-month-old Malawian girl named Mercy.

She is said to have fallen in love with the little girl, whose mother died just five days after her birth, and is keen to give her a new life in Britain.

However, officials insist Madonna is yet to formalize anything.

Evita is on Entertainment Weekly's "19 Moments That Gave You Chills."

http://img2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/i...ll/evita_l.jpg

The part in Evita when Madonna is on her deathbed. After her final note, the movie cuts to her bed and you hear her breathe two last times, and then bam, the haunting funeral cadence explodes. I get chills just thinking of it. *goes off to watch Evita again*

It feels strange to think that it's been 7 years since Music was released. And pretty soon it'll have been 10 years since Ray of Light!

Vinylfantasy 19th September 2007 07:01 PM

Yeah, it is weird. Time sure does go by quick!

MadonnaTribe just posted this:

In an interview with MTV news, singer AKON briefly mentions he will soon work with Madonna. Apparenlty he hasn't been in the recording studio with the Queen Of Pop yet but he expects to "shock the world" with her in the studio before the end of the year.

Great. He creeps me out.

Ultraviolet did a mashup cover of Physical Attraction. It's mixed with Olivia Newton John's Physical. I like the originals better.

Hear it here.

---------------

Natasha Bedingfield's cover of Ray of Light can also be heard on the Radio 1 website. It's no Madonna but it's definitely not bad.

Click on The Chris Moyles Show and fast forward about 50 minutes in.

I heart Nikki Finn! :D I watched Who's That Girl again today and I just thought I'd share my appreciation for it. She's just too cute and hilarious in this movie!

There's a pretty sweet white label mix of Who's That Girl thrown in there too.

Cyria 20th September 2007 05:06 PM

I really hope she doesn't end up working with Akon. I think he's a creep too.

A three second clip from the COADF sessions leaked. Keep The Trance has been rumored to have been leaked in full for quite some time, there are just some really stingy Madonna fans out there. This song was later reworked into what we now know as Hey You.

Here's the clip.

You can listen to Groove Armada's cover of Crazy For You for the Radio 1 compilation here. Select Scott Mills and fast forward 2 hours and 45 minutes. Just to warn you, it's absolutely horrid.

Vinylfantasy 21st September 2007 08:48 PM

This thread is so dead lately, let's play a little game shall we?

"I love it when she..."

I love it when she says, "I think I'm gonna sing a song, about love!" right before she starts Don't Tell Me on DWT in Detroit. It's just too adorable. :p

Here's the video for those of you who haven't seen it.

kinomaniac 21st September 2007 09:13 PM

I love it when she gives people the finger! xD
