Tears of the Orphans? Will she sing it in english?

^ Not to mention Place In The SUN instead of Hi no Ataru Basho, Last Night Train instead of Saigo no Yogisha, and MIDNIGHT HIDE-AND-SEEK... I'm also wondering if the album will be in English, since the featuring artists also sound like they come from the English-speaking world. I can't find any more info on the matter on her website or Facebook page, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Preview video for the mini-album! Apparently the English titles given in the last bit of news were indicative of nothing at all, the titles here are the original ones and all the songs are in Japanese. This irritates me to no end because I'm VERY particular about song/album/any titles, you can't just announce the titles one way and change it up for the actual release!! :laugh So here's the actual tracklist:

Everything sounds really nice and smooth! Looking forward to the release even more now! :D And the two new songs have apparently been released digitally already.

I used to follow her discography but stopped for a while, I found her voice has changed (I understand human's voice changes over the time), it's pretty obvious during her live tour - her voice sounds so heavy and it makes me concerned if she used her voice too much. Does anyone has the same thought?

New album coming! "Life is going on and on" to be released on December 26th. For some reason, there is no announcement on her official site yet, but online retailers like Amazon and CDJapan already have the album up for preorder.

Also, in a surprising move, her latest single Ai no Katachi plus her song Mou Ichido Futari de Utaitai from the recent Akiko Wada cover album seem to be available on Spotify and other digital platforms worldwide.

I like the covers, but what strikes me most about them is the font. Somehow, it looks so familiar, like I could swear it's been on a MISIA cover before...

Nice cover, it's so retro yet futuristic! and I thought the same as well, I think it appeared in one of her earlier cover too.

To be honest, the whole thing is so like early 00s J-pop cover, i wish the songs will be as good as the cover.

It may be the same font from Mother Father Brother Sister. The cover is also a clear homage to the forest scene she is lying in on the cover of her first album.

Yes, that's it! I just checked the Mother Father Brother Sister cover and even if the font isn't the same one, it's at least very similar. And now that I see it again, yes, the homage is definitely there.

I like the cover as well. Let's hope for the best with the new songs!

MISIA is releasing a special Christmas charity album called So Special Christmas next week, on November 18th! A part of the proceeds from this album will benefit Special Olympics Nippon (SON). She will also do a So Special Christmas Live mini-tour with four dates and eight shows in concert halls in Kobe, Osaka and Tokyo, with a part of the proceeds again donated to SON. The tracklist includes Christmas classics, some Christmas-appropriate MISIA hits, plus a few re-recordings and a remix.
