I read the author's wiki, and the most likely novel it's based on is Soukyuu no subaru (蒼穹の昴) -- Pleiades of the Blue Sky/Seven Sisters of the Blue Sky (Seems like Pleiades is a type of star clusters?)

Actually, this is not a main stream drama, so you can think....worse then [Daddy Dandy], this drama is not target at youngsters, more towards aunties and uncles, especially in China....

i'm losing hope in this tie...

i just read the plot earlier, those original chinese from the book and it's more of those Jing Dyanasty stories, which won't attract much attention in Japan and China....even the actors aren't interesting at all, the main actors are newbies....hmm

well, at least there's TwinkerBell.

the story background is set in China, and there are china and japan actors, but 80% are China.....so you get what i mean....(>_<)

i believe the main langugue spoken in the drama is chinese too...

it's a drama that's based on a novel, which is about the olden China era... apparently a Japanese actress will play Cixi Empress Dowager, but the rest of the cast have names similar to Chinese, so... oh well.

and according to the press conference that genie has posted, the name of the drama is the same as the novel, except in Chinese. so it's like 蒼穹之昴

well, the main characters are all chinese , except for her...but i think there should be a few more japanese actors too.

why can't she get a drama tie-in for something more mainstream and popular... these kind of shows are gonna be shown at like 8am? omg who's gonna watch that and be exposed to BALLAD?! :thud
