The DVD's first pressing will be encased in a special sleeve case with a deluxe 24-page photobook. You can see through the designed logo on the DVD cover was made up of pictures that were cut from 44 PVs.
In GREATEST CHALLENGE, Mika challenges quizzes about her own history.
For example, quizzes such as "When did you first xxx ?" and surprisingly, answers are given with "treasured footages at the time".
Long-haired Mika, wolf-haired Mika and affectionate Mika... such Mika-chan, when she did xxx for the first time, appears one after another.

As someone who owns zero Mika DVD's (I only have some of her CDs :o), this sounds very tempting.
Though I think I'd rather get the new live DVD instead as I prefer watching concerts than PVs :P

now where is that moneytree when you need one?

Seriously, why exactly is this not being released on Blu-ray? Her concerts have been before so why not this? That alone makles me not want to buy it, especially since I already have Film Lotus III & IV and the DVDs for VOICE and STAR.

well there's no way to know they won't release her PV collection on Bluray, but I guess it's safe to say that it won't happen anytime soon.. they only released twice BlueCDs & her concerts on BluRay so far.. :/ And only since 2005 so idk.

^anyway i got a question, why the name 'LOTUS' for her film dvds? ?

lotus are her favorite flowers :) it also represents purity, wisdom and spirits, things that are important for Mika :)

She also named her fanclub after her favourite flower somemore which I think it's really cool

She also supposedly has a Lotus flower tattoo , uh if I'm not mistaken :O

yeah, well we still don't know if it's a real one or not but she had one in 2003-2004 for her photobook LOVE FILLS ALL and you can see it on one of the CDTV SP perf' but can't remember which one atm.

^ Mika played Nana Oosaki from NANA, who had a lotus flower tatto on her arm, so maybe it was just for the performances of that (flwaless) era

I don't want to make negative comments here, but if I'm not mistaken, she has a tattoo on the right side of her lower back that has a lotus, it seems...

Mika Nakashima dating volleyball player Shimizu Kunihiro?

Singer and actress Nakashima Mika (29) is reportedly dating volleyball player Shimizu Kunihiro (25), a member of the men’s national team who plays for the Panasonic Panthers (based in Osaka). According to the Sports Nippon newspaper, the two started dating about half a year ago.

Nakashima is said to be a volleyball fan, and she has gone to watch Premier League matches many times. A friend introduced her to Shimizu, and they began dating after that.

Shimizu is one of the best attackers on Japan’s national team, and at 21 years old he was the youngest on the team during the 2008 Olympic Games. Due to his physique, he is also known by the nickname “Gori.”

When asked about the relationship, a PR representative for the Panasonic Panthers stated that it had nothing to say because it is a private matter.
