Exactly. It's easy to poop out 15 dumb PVs where she's just sitting in various rooms, looking pretty in different costumes (looking at you Koda Kumi) and singing into the camera. I prefer 3 amazing PVs over a **** load of mediocre garbage.

Well ayu wrote herself an album and not a mini album so I don't think it will be a mini.

Maybe it will be like occidental releases : an album, then several singles for album tracks with a new PV for each.

I don't think that strategy works in Japan because Japan is fascinated with the NEW thats why the majority of sales are the first week, heck the first DAY. and after first week they die down, in the west an album is released and then singles are released to get people to buy the ALBUM not so much the singles, where as here singles are released to sell the single XP it's a different way of marketing

I would like two digital singles first and then the album. Now that the dumb record has been made and Ayu has reached the landmark 50th single I can see Ayu/Avex not caring anymore..

Yeah I think the same, two more PVs shot in Japan like Lady Dynamite and Don't Look Back last year.

Well to be honest I think her PVs have been rather disappointing for years now.

Koda had her fair share of cool PVs -> BUT, Ningyo hime, Star...hmm I am sure I liked some more xD oh yeah Love goes like was pretty good too! Someday, WIND <3 etc. as I said she had a fair share of PVs that I like, but I see little point in releasing a video for each song, especially if you don't have a decent idea for one.


Obviously not all of her PVs are equally good/amazing, but almost every year she has had 1-2 that were really really good. Imo her videos were the best during (miss)understood/Secret album eras~ Still Virgin road, Sweet Season and do it again were really good, RnRC had Microphone, Sexy little things and Don't look back and so on, NEXT LEVEL pretty much had some of her worst PVs, though GREEN was pretty good.

I agree with (miss)understood and Secret having the best. I'd also include MY STORY in there, oh and Memorial address. But MOON and crossroad were dull, and the whole CONFUSING storyline of PVs for Love songs got old fast. I just wish for more creativity. I agree that Don't look back was cool and Microphone was a throwback to her great PVs!

I like the more simple concept-PVs such as HEAVEN, beloved, Together when... And my favorite is BALLAD. I hope there will be some simple, but good story line-Pvs.

When she first ask Leslie Kee to made the shoot of the new PV and cover for her, she did say "new single" and then she made a mini-album. So we can't know for sure what kind of product is gonna be released first. She can make almost a whole album but release first 1 or 2 songs while she complete the album (it seems she didn't made it full in London bcause it was only a month)

My favorite PV is BALLAD as well because it's simple yet it tells a good story.

I just don't hope she'll do something as complicated as Mirrorcle World, I had an hard time understanding what was going on in that PV. I also don't hope that she does something like Virgin Road ~ Love song ~ Last Angel, I disliked how she linked PV's to each other.
