And by the way, the way M(A)DE IN JAPAN has been released (first via streaming through AWA and later in physical format), makes me think this will be the patern for future releases. Maybe I'm wrong, I know, but wanted to say it.

Seeing as it didnt really affect the sales maybe more artists will do this now to build hype and to maybe make the streaming service more popular and known. Let's hope it keeps doing ok during the week. I hope her sales have plateaued seeing as since colours she pretty much had the same sales

ayu's physical releases are mostly purchased by her fans, so this shouldn't be a surprise.

I hope she can get number one weekly...but the competition from that anime ost is kinda hard...I believe that anime is really popular at the moment..(its anime or vocaloid?)

but I really suprise by the number even though it's already fully leaked, but it's still sold really well, then the marketing decision is correct and show the result.

I would say any releases are purchosed by fans of the artists. Physical copies are for collectors and people looking for music in HQ. People who listening only at their smartphones/tablets/laptops don't really bother to buy physical releases because they'd finish ripped and uploaded to the cloud anyway.

I was skeptic about streaming release before physical but it's possible this way of promoting it's that bad. I guess some people could give it a listening on AVA and if they liked it they may buy a copy now.

I'm curious though how the anime/music/game cd will continue its sales. The gap is very small (at the moment) so it's not impossible for her to outsell it. Tomorrow's sales should give more insight haha.

Great numbers, I was afraid that making it avaiable through AWA back then would knock sales down but seems like their strategy working, making a bit of promotion out of it :)

A ONE sold 20,025 at the first day. So I think 19k (almost 20k) is great number!

So it's higher than sixxxxxx's! Even though it was a mini album I thought it would sell less. Just less than 200 difference from A ONE's first day. Nice!
