^ There is a new TA post but it was written by the STAFF not ayu, this seems to be a live report from her last concert.

Ayu is really into branded stuff these days. I don't hate the looks, but its the same stuff that's all over Instagram. I'm just not impressed with these lewks.

It takes me back to the wholr issue of her being a person vs a product from way back when.

This definitely makes her seem like just a vessel to sell merch. But, I don't hate her style.

nowdays advertisments are done alot on social media because it´s cheaper for the companys

But yet, it is stuff the majority of people can't really afford - so, is it really a win-win situation?

japanese ppl can, they are very brand addicted, whenever I browse IG on concert days I see pics of fans with ther LV, Gucci and whatever brand bags and such
and Mirror9 for example is rly affordable I think

You are right if you say Japanese are very brand-orientated, they do value brands more than people in other countries.
But I wouldn't say most can afford those. It's more like they set aside other stuff to have the money to buy branded items, so it's usually one or two pieces.

yeah most likley, alltough she also often wears brands were you spend 1000$+ for one piece she also has brands she wears often like Mirror9 or this Jello shoes that are rly affordable for normal ppl, I mean they are still more expensive than H&M or GU but not that exorbitant expensive like versace, LV and Gucci.
I whould have loved to buy this short pink jumper from Mirror9 she wore on an IG photo, but it was sold out so quikly *cries*
