The fan video made a few years ago was better edited, but it’s nice they put the song up in full. I love how happy she looks during stadium tour. I think that time period would’ve been so much fun to be her fan.

^ Right? STADIUM TOUR seems to have been a lot of fun for her. Maybe she realized that what she was doing was going in a good direction (performing in a huge stadium and being a hit record). She seems very proud during that concert. <3 July 1st is one of my favorite songs and I love that they did this video (even tho we had the fanmade version for years lol)

STADIUM TOUR was honestly such a great concert, the editing on the DVD was so annoying though. The Free & Easy - HANABI section is one of the best acts in her 20+ years of touring imo. My favourite performance of M is from there.

I keep waiting and waiting for an HD rebroadcast of past tours or blu-ray re-releases but it never happens.:(
I find the video quality of Ayu's tour DVDs from 2000-2004 to be very poor.

The concerts pre-AT2006 weren‘t filmed with HD camaras, so it’s useless to put these lives on a BD...

I know that it was always a possibility that the reason could be because they simply were not filmed in HD. But it would still depend on what format it was filmed in. If they used digital cameras than it will always be 480p SD. If they used film then they can just do an HD transfer.
I believe HD versions do exist because of the 10th anniversary special from WOWOW. Those videos looked to my eyes, to be SD video upscaled to HD.:shrug
This would mean that a blu-ray release is possible.

Even if they were filmed with SD digital cameras, it's possible to remasterize that to a higher quality if they have raw files. Also, DOME TOUR seems to be originally filmed in HD, so it's quite possible.
