There's a double meaning on this. “Ayu as Ayu is“ and “Ayu is mother Ayu“. Mama can means mother and also “as it is/this way“.

Haha I caught that too - very clever.

The yakuza looking guys? Yep, I see them sometimes outside venues.

They're basically my last resort if I really can't get a ticket any other way. Do y ou how much he paid for his?

They asked for 30k, but we got them down to 25k 😂

I saw people at twitter worries that ayu also may cancel or postpone shows because of the virus

Amid the global spread of COVID-19 cases, a growing number of domestic and international artists have begun canceling or postponing shows in Japan. From dome-sized performances to indie concerts, performers are debating whether to play live and, if they do, what special measures to take.

Nerves tensed up on Feb. 25 when news that the first recorded COVID-19 patient in Kumamoto Prefecture had attended a show by pop-punk band Wanima on Feb. 8 in Fukuoka. This revelation prompted the group to cancel a handful of upcoming dates, marking the first major domestic cancellations.

EXILE and Perfume, among others, have cancelled concerts today. Unfortunately, I think it’s pretty likely that Ayu’s shows will be cancelled as well :(

~angel*ayumi~ 26th February 2020 09:16 AM

Jup, Ayu just canceled as well

Thank you for your continued support of ayumi hamasaki.
In light of the expansion of COVID-19 infections in Japan, the requests from the Japanese government today, and after considerations prioritizing the health and safety of guests, artists, and all other persons involved, we have decided to voluntarily cancel the performances at Nagoya Congress Center Century Hall on 2/29/2020 (Sat) and 3/1/2020 (Sun).

Details on make-up performances and/or refunds will be announced at a later date on the ayumi hamasaki official site.
We are terribly sorry to all those who were looking forward to this concert, and we humbly ask for your understanding.

Aderianu 26th February 2020 09:21 AM

That is sad! Especially for overseas fans who going to attend those shows

Xianghua 26th February 2020 09:45 AM

As of now, the request from the government to stop events is for 2 weeks.
Hopefully it won’t be longer than that.

Well I was avoiding reading spoilers but I might as well read about the show now!

it's a shame for those who have travelled all the way to Japan to see her but it's better to be safe than sorry :)

ulfy01 26th February 2020 06:49 PM

Shit. Now I'm worried. I can easily picture it being longer. I'm going April 1st...

I'm really sorry for those here who won't get to see the Nagoya concert.

PinkShinigami 27th February 2020 09:54 AM

It's very understandable that they want to cancel concerts. There's barely any kind of event where people are standing closer to each other, and with higher risk of transmission of the virus.

Imagine how it would feel for Ayu (or anyone planning the concert) if there came a further outbreak or even deaths as a result of a concert. It would be horrible. Ariana Grande lives with PTSD after her tragic concert in England.

I was thinking about going to Japan to finally see her this year, but "luckily" for me, I dropped that plan due to the Olympics. I'm still very curious to see how that's gonna go with the virus now.

visionfactory 28th February 2020 02:09 AM

I'd be heartbroken if this happened to me, I know it's for better but still sad for fans and artists

Lots of groups from EXILE TRIBE family had tours scheduled as they are heavily promoting 2020 PERFECT YEAR :( guess it's not gonna be that perfect

Cahz- 4th March 2020 06:34 AM

Avex will upload some Ayumi live performances on Youtube, along with some of other artists. It will start tomorrow March 5th

ExodusUK 4th March 2020 11:45 PM

Maybe the whole tour will be cancelled and we can put TROUBLE behind us.

hidekirby 5th March 2020 01:51 AM

I fear TROUBLE will go further this year. THIS NIGHTMARE WILL NEVER END!

Chris85 5th March 2020 02:03 AM

Well, Trouble is just a name, she'll keep touring after that anyway.

Cahz- 5th March 2020 06:40 AM

It’s one of her best tours in the recent years and far from a nightmare.
