thanks to luminaire @ JPM

Without leaving anything behind,
fill this blue lake to the brim;
Sing for all eternity, the colours of the flowers -
picking so many to form a mountain of white

After the storm,
the lullaby that should've collapsed from crying
saw a dazzling light;
these beloved stars
raise, together as one, their voice like a sigh

Don't go away; look upwards
No matter how these arms struggle, it won't be enough;
I want to protect,
I still remember
everything that you gave me
I want to protect

The mountains wail,
and nothing is enough to comfort them;
the flowers of the apple, the fruits of the peach

The snow flowers
glide down on this precipitous path,
floating as if they were dancing -
however

I can't bring it across, and you want to return home,
eddying and shivering
Come here,
I will hold you close;
and remember
everything those eyes of yours saw
and hold them close

Don't go away; look upwards
No matter how these arms struggle, it won't be enough;
Don't go away; look upwards
No matter how these arms struggle, it won't be enough;
I can't bring it across, and you want to return home,
eddying and shivering
I will hold you close;
and remember
everything those eyes of yours saw -
I want to protect

Without feeling any sadness,
let's join our hands, and become one;
Sing for all eternity, the dreams you envision -
and the rain will cease to fall

I totally understand the ringo and momo now! Cocco is amazing <3

Hmm... interesting lyrics. I love the way the words are used. Gives one a really pretty picture of the.... the... Valley? (:tipsy)

She looks a lot like Hitomi Shimatani in the new pv, does anyone else think that too? ^^;

I think it would be cool if alan and Ayu collaborated... maybe Ayu writes the lyrics and she writes the song :O

Yum!Fruit_Salad! 13th January 2009 09:39 PM

alan's wails + Ayu's vibrato = :heart

pommy48 13th January 2009 11:12 PM

alan's wails + Ayu's vibrato + me listening = :dead2

Yum!Fruit_Salad! 13th January 2009 11:33 PM

Really, it's more me finding it funny than actually being good.

pommy48 13th January 2009 11:58 PM

i can imagine if ayu did a remix of theme of a-nation 03, and they incorporated the erhu into it, and ayu can sing theme of a-nation 03 live, and alan will be playing the erhu

or Will can work too <3

With a wail in the instrumental break from our dear alan, it'd be STUNNING

pommy48 14th January 2009 12:09 AM

but i'm really glad for GnT because it shows that alan can also handle a bit of the mainstream things~ she can't stay dealing with asian-sounding songs forever @_@

Melon Panda 14th January 2009 12:14 AM

Maybe she'll end up doing a bit of crossover work a la Hitomi Shimatani? It ought to be possible.

pommy48 14th January 2009 12:21 AM

oh what cross over work did hitomi do?

mcken200 14th January 2009 12:22 AM

^ the crossover style would definately suit alan

AyuGAME 14th January 2009 12:49 AM

nice lyrics,but i don't really feel it because its not relate with my current situation

pommy48 14th January 2009 12:51 AM

i think GnT is what i imagined megumi no ame would be

like for GnT, it start out slow, then it slowly build up to the place where she hoo's, then it goes back down, doesn't that remind you of like a wave?~

Crossover is taking dance beats and mixing them with classical elements. Destiny -Taiyou no Hana- or Shinku are a great examples.

pommy48 14th January 2009 12:56 AM

GAH!!!!!! destiny-taiyou no hana- is my fave hitomi song <3

well in GnT, there's violins...~
