it's not copyright issue. it's just what Avex Hk and TW wants to make. they have the copyright of ayu's music, but they may not bother making an OS version of the box. for example, HK avex does not make Cd only singles cos they don't bother, but taiwan avex makes them.

How on earth could the Limited Box Set sell out SO FAST?! There wasn't even any picture or info yet! :(

I can't believe I didn't pre-order when I first saw it go up. I feel like an idiot because I am one of the crazies that will pay that hefty price. :D

Any chance of it becoming available? It's still over a month away and their site says "temporarily" out of stock... Not "out of print" like some of the other items say when no longer available...

hmm,i think if there is no OS press for the limited edition,i believe its AVEX JP doesn't want it to have an OS press.
like Kuu's concert DVD,there is some copyright issue about the disc 2.AVEX TW couldn't release it because of the copyright issue.not only kuu.there is quite a number of JP press of other avex artiste doesn't has the OS press for certain product because of the copyright .
so,its not surprising to not have the limited edition box for OS press

Ayu likes to include interludes in her album because it links the songs together. The interlude sets the category of each "chapter" of the album. Sometimes a song has to be remixed repeatedly in order to fit into her "perception" of how the story plot of the album should be. Normally avex will set a deadline for her and she will only complete it on or just before the deadline. Which is why she is still in the midst of production (arranging the tracks and deciding on the final tracklist). It would be nice to listen the album from the first track to the last track so that everyone can understand the story behind "Rock'n'Roll Circus".

Most likely any new tracks added to the album (now) will not be performed at the concert since rehearsals have already began some time ago.

They actually could probably still stick a song in.

They do song changes for concerts sometimes with only a few days notice.. [glitter / momentum / flower garden / JEWEL... etc]

I wonder when she's filming the interludevideos for the tour...

avex HK is pretty lazy in manufacturing ayu's releases as other asian markets (Singapore, Malaysia) produce their own pressing, they only picked the most sellable version to manufacture. The CD ONLY versions are normally imported from avex TW. I wonder if the lyrics translation is also done by avex TW staff...

^that makes sense, but I hope she changes the tracklist as the tour goes on so that she includes all of the album songs like she did for NL :D

I reckon the interlude videos have already been filmed... I don't think they will bother to include any new songs into the setlist unless ayu have strong wishes to perform the track. (Remember how challenging it was for ayu to slot in "momentum" into Asia Tour 2007?) Most likely the setlist will be modified when they completed half of the tour or when they take a break during summer in July.

Ayu has mentioned that she only tour in the name of her album for when she is extremely pleased and proud of it (GUILTY was not included in the name of Asia Tour 2008). Did you notice that the order of tracks on NEXT LEVEL have already been changed to fit into the concert tour, most likely we are able to see most of the tracks on "Rock'n'Roll Circus" being performed for the tour.

czh_genesis 6th March 2010 09:15 AM

the audiences still probably go "ehh? whats the name of this song?" during her concert since the release date is after the tour starts...

truehappiness 6th March 2010 09:22 AM

I actually think they might be selling 3-4 day in advance copies at the concert venues... and possibly also have stations for people to listen to the album if they'd like.

Perhaps some sort of free chaku-uta giveaway as well to entice new listeners?

Corvina 6th March 2010 09:40 AM

Thanks for all the infos!
I'm bumped for the photobook so I'll buy the CD+DVD edition. Even if I don't like half of the PVs already (S/S ew).
A pity we don't have a official tracklist for the album yet.

Lanz16 6th March 2010 09:48 AM

I was literally WOWed on this thread!
Finally, a confirmed title and a date!

The first press version is so tempting to buy!
Thanks for sharing!

[EDIT]
By the way, what happened to the Sexy little thing?
Is it still included on her new album right?

truehappiness 6th March 2010 10:03 AM

Sexy little things is not listed because at the moment, it has no tie-in. The other two songs that are listed have been airing in CMs every day for the last month or so on Japanese TV which is likely to be the reason why they are listed and Sexy little things is not.

nanakopy87 6th March 2010 10:07 AM

oh,we still have the chance to listen to the preview from the chaku uta thingy right?

Corvina 6th March 2010 10:17 AM

When will be the chaka uta released this time?

Ahhhh... okay
Is it like (don't) Leave me alone right?
Since it has no tie-in before the album release

:yes

Who knows, most likely in 2-3 weeks, but I guess they might as well release them only a few days before the album comes out, as there are generally no rules when it comes to this.
