I felt the special-ness with the chaku-uta version, but not with this. This version kills the song somewhat.

I still don't know if it's just me and my ears, but the CM version really sounds very different from the chaku-uta. The chaku-uta really gave me that old classic ayu feeling, but the CM one just made me wonder what kind of weird arrangement they subjected the song to. Could someone who actually has the chaku-uta listen to it and tell me I'm not hearing things?

^yes Misa chan i notice it too,this CM version is slighty different from the chaku uta rip.i listen to it again and again.from the chaku uta feel like i'm listening to the mix of ASFXX~verison 2~ with the guitar and string mix and have the feeling of Season :P i cant hear the strings in the CM,maybe thats just me,idk,

Yeah, the chaku-uta version had stronger strings, and some fantastic drumming going on. And none of that crazy bass going on like in the CM version.

Oh well, I guess it IS too early to judge. But the chaku-uta really had my hopes up. No ayu preview ever got me the way MOON did, lol!! :luv2

That clip of the CM has some really LQ audio, I think. I got the high def-ish TV version and it sounds like a clearer version of the original chaku uta, hm....

The drums are almost as audible as Ayu singing. :irked

That wasn't my complaint. The fantastic drumming is still there, but the bass just covered it all up. :shakehead

I did listen to the DL version. It's not changed my opinion. :no Oh well, guess I'll just cross my fingers and wait to hear the final arrangement...

^Misa-chan, is it really wise to get all pissed about a version that's muffled and has someone talking over all of it? The song was done when she released the Chaku-Uta, therefore, this shouldn't be a different mix, it'd just be lower quality then the chaku-uta rip

Nahh, I'm not pissed. Disappointed maybe, but not angry definitely.

I guess everyone's misunderstanding what I'm saying, actually. My concern is not about the quality, it's about the arrangement of the song. In the chaku-uta, there was none of that bass sound that it is so clearly, definitely there in the CM version. I think it's a horrible addition, and my hope is that the final version doesn't actually have that bass sound, and even if it does, at least turn it down and not let it rule over the entire sound the way it's doing in the CM version. That's all.

And this is all just my personal opinion. Many people like this CM version, I'm fine with that. I love the song itself too, alot. Personally, I just don't like that CM arrangement.
