The deluxe edition is now sold out on CDJapan. It is still available at YesAsia but at the rate it's selling, who knows how much longer it's going to be before they are sold out of their preorders for the deluxe edition as well. The preorder links haven't even been up for two days and they're gone (take that SNSD-haters, lol). I panicked and preordered it at YesAsia a couple of minutes ago. If I change my mind, I'll just cancel it or I might sell my Korean version if the Japanese version is really similiar to it. Either way, I'm super excited about their success in Japan.

I don't know.. I think I'll pass. if they were in Japanese I'd get one.

Ranma Matsuri 2nd December 2010 10:08 PM

Yay! I knew there'd be a SNSD release in December (was hoping it'd be Into the New World but this is just as good if not better). :heart

Just placed my order for the Limited Edition. I'm not bummed about missing out on the deluxe at all, ten extra bucks JUST for ONE live? :-/ But now I don't feel bad about not getting the Korean mini album yet, I'll just support their Japan endeavors. But I probably still will get the original mini eventually just for the poster and photocard. XD

Nah, 12/22 seems to be just a day when a lot of winter albums are releasing. It's a few days before Christmas so it ensures that people will be gifting these and sales will be decent.

I was thinking.. if only they all knew English they would probably be successful here with English versions of songs like Genie, Run Devil Run, and Wake Up. their sexy image could definitely sell.. and they're actually really good dancers. it's just the English skills of 7 of them really would need to improve.

adantatu2 4th December 2010 01:27 AM

+1 Genie (English version)
Woww, i really want at least one more japanese single before the album

Definitely. I think their "cute" image could do well also since we're not exactly used to cute and sweet artists over here, people could see it as something refreshing. Plus while Gee and Oh! may be considered cute, they're incredibly strong and catchy pop tracks.

I would just love to see the US audience's reaction just to the sheer number of members and... those legs. :luv2 It'd be fun explaining them to my mom and friends that don't listen to Asian music lol.

Is there somebody fluent in english in the group? Or somebody with basic english skills?
