What does that mean? The spots aren't guaranteed? If they have tickets doesn't that mean they can go?

TeamAyu members get to buy tickets before everyone else but the tickets are randomized to make it fair to the general public so they can't pick all the good seats before everyone else. I think that's what they mean.

TeamAyu2004 19th February 2011 09:13 PM

Oh... I see because I was thinking about getting me a couple of the tickets that were listed on YJA.
I'm just worried that I would sit soooo far away. But if their TA tickets they cant be that bad, even if they are randomized, hopefully.

SKYia 19th February 2011 09:20 PM

^nope, the chance of sitting at the furthest back with TA tickets is equally possible, trust me :p

TeamAyu2004 19th February 2011 09:27 PM

Oh no!!!.. I guess I should spend that money on seats that might be sooo far back!... Any ideas on what i should do?

SKYia 19th February 2011 10:56 PM

get the TA tickets, if you don't like them you can easily sell them and get some you'll like (more expensive for sure, but there's always a small chance you'll win good sits - I got 2nd floor balcony 1st row xD, I couldn't even stand up during concert because the fence was at my knee-high, one swing and I could kill myself xD)

TeamAyu2004 19th February 2011 11:42 PM

^ Cool, thank you for the info

Mintkisses 19th February 2011 11:50 PM

You guys who got TA tickets must have some $$$ to travel to Japan! I would love to win tickets but even if I did, I wouldn't be able to afford the trip =/

TeamAyu2004 19th February 2011 11:53 PM

^ yeah, it is kinda expensive... But the hotel is just as bad! lol.. That's why i don't know if i want to shell out the money for a ticket, because then i might not have the money for the flight or a place to stay!! AHAHA!!

I have no idea what i should doooo..... :tired

AyumiAi 20th February 2011 01:00 AM

so does anyone know when the tickets actually go on sale?

TeamAyu2004 20th February 2011 01:22 AM

I talked to a company based in Japan for over sea customers who want to buy tickets. I told them I wanted to try and get tickets for the July 24 show, the final. They told me that those tickets don't go on sale until May... So i would guess somewhere between two months before the first date??

AyumiAi 20th February 2011 02:05 AM

mmkay that makes sense XP
btw what is the phone number for those people you called?

TeamAyu2004 20th February 2011 02:14 AM

there's no number... Its a website... I'll have to look it up for you...

::runs off to find out what I did with that website::

EDIT:!

I found it!
http://www.fdjp.com/

I have never used them before, so I can't say if they are good or not.

keikeiaznqueen 20th February 2011 03:29 AM

^ They're all right. Be prepared to spend a lot of $$$ on tickets though. Their commission is 30% and their shipping is expensive too cos they ship for EMS, not just standard mail.

The tickets DID arrive in 2 days and I got the exact seats I wanted, however. Very reliable middleman. :)

Tony G 20th February 2011 03:44 AM

8500 yen, that's how much the tickets are right? That's not really that expensive. $100AU, for a pop artist that's cheap.

I wouldn't bother through those agent sites. Reseller shops are the way to go. You can spend the extra you are paying on commission and postage on the extra amount for the reseller tickets. Because you might end up spending that extra amount and get a ticket far from the stage, when you could have spent that in Japan ensuring you get a decent ticket.

While we're at it, what are the best reseller shops to go to in Tokyo?

TeamAyu2004 20th February 2011 01:49 PM

^ Where can I go to get tickets from a reseller shop?

Misa-chan 20th February 2011 04:02 PM

^If you're going to the Yoyogi show, try the Harajuku reseller shop. It ALWAYS had tickets in stock every time I checked it out last year, for AT2009, CDL09/10 and AT2010 as well. It's much much better to go there and look for tickets yourself than pay exorbitant amounts going through a middleman.

SKYia 20th February 2011 05:21 PM

Don't worry, you'll most probably be able to buy tickets even on the day of the concert (and if there are some vacant far back sits you may even pay less than the standard price, but that's just the last resort, you don't have to buy on the last day), it's not worth importing tickets to your country, I know it may sound crazy to go to Japan to Ayu concert without ticket (esp if that's the only reason for going there) but that's cheap and safe way.

I'd go this year myself too, unfortunately there's no one to go with me this time and that's discouraging me a lot <(_ _)>

It's a real shop that you have to go to, I don't think they have an online service. But as SKYia as said, and from my own experience as well, it's the best way to get tickets at a reasonable price.
