I'm just going to go out on a whim here and suggest that it's probably because the lyrics are personal and constantly relevant to her.

Musically, they're both so bland though. She didn't do justice to the lyrics with the music IMO.

I've always been in love with these two songs, both musically and lyrics wise. Amazing tracks.

Seems like she performed HEAVEN acapella. And I was really thinking earlier how she didn't perform any (miss)understood songs in this tour.
She also performed JEWEL. Probably acapella.

JEWELian 15th October 2015 11:18 PM

Have successfully avoided seeing all setlists!

Off to Nagoya on Sunday for the two shows. I think there were a few people on here also going? PM me and I can send you my email or phone number and we can maybe meet up?

Argh three sleeps to go!

that song gives me so many feelings. She needs to do it live. It's such a beautiful piece. I always consider it a sister of Secret.

Omg it was so great!!! Ayu was so close!! And her songs!!! LOVED IT! There was also time for a normal talk and that was a lot of fun too!
Timmy and Ayu did the Acapella of Heaven and it was so cute!! He was looking at the lyrics and made a mistake and then they started over. Omg love them!!

redmoon18 16th October 2015 08:36 AM

Seconding Erikku, last night's show was pretty incredible. Her vocals were on point the whole time, she's clearly been working really hard on them and it showed. I was in basically the third row so Ayu was super close, it felt like a once in a lifetime moment, honestly. I particularly loved the rock version of M, and her performance of Heartplace (one of my personal faves). The Days/beloved combo was nice as well. Heaven was great accapella (even tho Timmy messed up lol everyone was like "he's so cute!" so it really didn't matter) and JEWEL was the full song, she sang it while sitting on a chair, very subtle but really nice. The dance portion was fun, I'm not a huge fan of "feel the love" and "you & me" but the crowd was enthusiastic, and my gay best friend who I brought who had minimal Ayu exposure before this was like "I LOVE THIS SONG" lmao. Also, the MCs were super hilarious.

Overall, It was a great time, truly. Despite not loving the entire set list (I def wish there were some older hits thrown in there. Like I would have preferred something like fairlyland or BLUE BIRD over summer diary, etc), I felt the intimate experience that the venue provided and flawless vocals more than made up for it. Definitely an unforgettable night!

Me too, my friend. Me too.

And thanks for the quick info Erikku and redmoon! That's great to hear! I won't lie, I'm not such a huge fan of Timmy but he and Ayu get along so well, they are really fun to watch together! xD I'm glad to hear about all this! The only thing I wish was different is that I should've been there!!!! I'll see you someday Ayu!!! I promise!!! (and if you happen to perform No more words, I wouldn't complain. Nope. Not at all.)

This! The rock version was awesome!
And if I remember correctly it was a different version from power of music.

Luckily the majority was like this, however I heard some people scream "ばかやろー!" (asshole!) and "日本語覚えろ"(Go learn Japanese!) which made it a bit sad. But it was good that they ignored those people.

Btw I love Ayu's laughing. She sounds so violent XD

And after the show we ate the Cabbage yaki at the store Ayu recommended.

Whoa... it is rude but better than screaming "go back to your home.."

People screaming that makes ayu sad.

lastminute 17th October 2015 05:22 AM

Did she sing Daybreak before MY ALL during the double encore on October 13th or was it just the Under the same sky video?

"Go learn japanese" is pretty similiar to "go back to your home" to me, same racist shit. Dunno how you can consider yourself an ayu fan (and TA member) if you wanna hurt the ones she cares about.
