i would describe it as crazy-funny-enka pop music. :P

they were more serious-sounding with Naniwa Iroha Bushi/Osaka Rainy Blues. but they got their break with "Sukiyanen, Osaka", which set off the "crazy" following A-sides we hear today.

their single "Mugendai / OH!Enka (Sakura Enka) / Sukiyanen, Osaka." almost beat out Ayu's "HEAVEN" since they were released on the same week if anyone remembers (or was around at the time. AHS was freaking out, LOL!)

yup, K8 had #1 for like the first 2 days?, i think. but Ayu got the weekly #1.
yeah, Ayu almost lost the #1 w/ "Bold & Delicious / Pride". oddly enough, the single that almost beat it was Shuuji to Akira's "Seishun Amigo". :P
