I was alittle scared thinking that Ayu's vocals might be off for her older songs, but they were perfect I didn't cringe at all I was very Proud. Her vocals were really good this time. It was super enjoyable.

Anyone else see (hear) her screw up the lyrics in GREEN? When she's dancing with Maro, she's supposed to sing "fureta yubi no saki kara", she sings "mireta"...cross between "mitsumeru" and "fureta". :P Nice, Ayu.

I liked seeing some never performed songs being sung, but damn the whole concert had REALLLY REALLLY REALLLY REALLLY REALLLY REALLLLLY horrid outfits. XD I bet Peco designed them all. D;

I think some of the outfits were recycled. The white gowns looked suspiciously like they were modified from her Days performances. Even Angel's song had earrings from her Days performances. But then she had many outfits and avex probably didn't want to spend much money on this.

yeah some of the outfits were ugly.. But then i thk there's a significance ~ IMO,they're reviving these hideous outfits cos ayu used to wear them the earlier part of her debut.. and since it's her 10th anniversary, wearing them is like a reminiscent of the earlier days~~ dont u thk?

I can't really follow you, but some parts of PCDL0809 UNITE! sounded exactly the same AT07 UNITE! sounded like, I wasn't able to listen to both of them against each other yet, so I'm not sure about the whole song, but at least some lines sound REALLY similar!

Did it ever occur to anyone that, oh I don't know, it's the SAME person singing the SAME song...?

But you can't sound EXACTLY the same, thats impossible! Just listen to how different some of her other performances sound on different performances, or just listen to both unites for yourself, after a few lines it turnes lipsynch

...Sing the same song, you'll sound the same, unless you consciously decide "hey I'm going to sing it different this time!"

If that's how the song is supposed to sound, than THAT'S how she's going to try to sing it, EVERY TIME.

I put the two against each other. I do think they sound similar (well, I actually hope they sound similar, especially since they're the same song...) but it seems like, at least starting from the second verse and on, the PCDL version was less pitchy on the high notes and had lower and softer vibrato, and the "tsuyoi mono" sounds different...

Granted, the sound quality for both are different, and I don't really know how good are my ears, but I can detect some differences, at least starting from the 1st chorus and on...

as i said, i wasnt able to listen to both against each other yet, but some lines sounded really similar to AT07 to me when i listened to it yesterday

I mean, SCAR was epic, wow wow wow! And Over not far away from that. And might I say that her vocals over all was great! I noticed that her vocals actually sounded better in all the never-performed-songs then the regulars (like evolution etc)... In Will her vocal was amaaaazing really!!

And OMG I love love love Vouge! She should perform that one more often, but with better outfit, and with more fans a la asian and such and such.

I could go on forever but I will try to keep myself short.

Anyway, great vocals, great songs, I truly loved everyone of them! What a show. Great job Ayu!

It`s strange that you compare edited (thus with corrected notes= flawless ) version of UNITE! from AT07 and often off-key version from PCDL 08-09 and find them to sound similar...

So is there a general consensus in whether she really messed up the first "It's Over" part or not?

Probably been discussed to death but...I really don't want to go through the pages of the lipsync debate...

I think it's obvious that she lip-synched that part in Over. The mic wasn't anywhere near her mouth when the first "It's over" came on and she didn't put it up until the next part of the song. I don't think it can really be argued that she didn't lip-synch. Even though there was a delay in the sound or whatever it wasn't that much of a delay.
