^There, there...
Ayu herself speaks often about music being her life and she can't really picture helself without it. Also she said that even if she's married now she is still Ayu and will go on doing what she loves, and her fans are still very important to her too. And last, her CD's selling numbers have always been falling (not only because of less popularity but also because of the rising internet downloading options we have today). So you just stay calm honey.

I'm just worried she will be quitting soon!! Now that she is married and her last two albums didn't sell like they use too...

I'm sooo worried! :tired

Don't worry. Her concerts are still in the top 5 of the biggest money making concerts. Even if album sales are down, she almost never, if ever, has a concert that is not 98% full.

It's a real shop that you have to go to, I don't think they have an online service. But as SKYia as said, and from my own experience as well, it's the best way to get tickets at a reasonable price.

Do come!! A lot of us are gathering at Yoyogi on 23rd and 24th, so we can all meet up definitely~ ;)

It's rare for Ayu to hold Arena Tour till July, last year I had to take few days off at work to go to AT10, since I'm a teacher I have summer holidays in July and August so I was really hoping to go with a friend to the final in Yoyogi but now he said it was just a joke and he doesn't even work right now and won't have money to go :|

I've been to Japan twice, the very first time I even travelled alone but there was always someone waiting for me in Japan, now I'd have to go alone, but I'm really thinking seriously about it. It's bugging me, wanna go XD

It's much much better to go there and look for tickets yourself than pay exorbitant amounts going through a middleman.

hi, in harajuki on Takashita Dori?

MissElin_ 21st February 2011 09:24 PM

^That's the street yes.

Tempting!!! I've been to a total of 4 Ayu concerts and I was sorta disappointed with CDL10-11 (I attended) and told myself never to go to Ayu concert again, but I would love to go to see Ayu again :o

tokyoxjapanxfan 22nd February 2011 02:14 PM

they should do a special stadium version of this concert in the summer :3

but...that's just coming from the fact that i want ayu to do another stadium/open air live soooooo bad. :'( haha

TeamAyu2004 22nd February 2011 03:17 PM

^ didn't she only do that once? Or was it more?

Is there any list of the yearly biggest money making concerts?

TeamAyu2004 22nd February 2011 03:19 PM

Cool, thanks Misa! Is there a map/directions on how to get there floating around anywhere on the forum? Can you get by with just pointing at the ticket or asking something in simple english there?

Can't wait to go to Japan. It still hasn't hit me that 2011 is the year I will see her live. :D

At harajuku, find takeshita-street (it's the busiest street in tokyo, you can't miss it), then walk through the street and you'll see a couple of concert-stores (one merchandise-store, and ticketshops) at your left.
You'll see the tickets there, so just point to the one that you want. You can also ask them to point out the seat's location on a seatmap of yoyogi

SunshineSlayer 24th February 2011 11:18 AM

For all the people asking questions about obtaining tickets, please just check the Ayu Chat room forum. There are several threads there with all the information you would ever need about how to get tickets. :)

But to reiterate what others have said: The best way is to just come to Japan and get them at a resale shop.

ayuuk 24th February 2011 11:34 AM

Yeah, if you do not go through TeamAyu lottery for the tour tickets, I think the best way is just go to Japan and check the reseller shops. I have seen CDL09~10, CDL10~11 tickets on sale there.

I want an open air live too!! Don't remember which year, but "A song for xx" in the rain is simply epic.

TeamAyu2004 24th February 2011 01:43 PM

Thanks for all the info! I really appreciate it! And you all have made it easier for me to think I might actually be able to go this year!

You are. =)

Seriously, everyone, tickets is the last thing you need to worry about when going to Japan for an ayu concert. They're being resold literally everywhere. I find accommodation more of a headache than getting tickets.

Just take the JR Yamanote Line to Harajuku Station and exit through the Takeshita Exit. Don't worry there will be signs in English all over to guide you. Once out of the station, cross the street at the traffic junction right outside, and you will be on Takeshita Street. It's normally extremely crowded so it's easy to know once you're there. Besides, there's a big pink gate-like thing over the entrance, hard to miss. So just keep walking down the street, and about 3/4 of the way down you will find the ticket resale shop. It's on your left side, has blue and yellow signs, and you should see many many glass display cases and celebrity posters inside.

Once there, just look for 浜崎あゆみ tickets. Or ask the staff, they can speak enough English to help. :) As mentioned, if you're unsure about seating, just ask for a seat map, or post a query here on AHS. The prices for the tickets are generally alright, meaning they are priced reasonably according to how good the seat is. So you can normally tell how good that seat is just by looking at the price. Those going above 50,000yen are normally great arena seats, and beware of those below the original price of 8,500yen, as they are normally stand seats that are super far back/too high up.

^ Thank you Thank you!!! :)

Matthew 24th February 2011 08:15 PM

I thought I'd given up, but I'm starting to get real tempted to go once again! 4 years in a row??? A little bit crazy.

Yeah, tickets are really easy to get. I've never had a problem getting something in B-block for anything more that about ¥15,000. I got a stand seat last year for a little less money, but the view was still great :)

Sandy 24th February 2011 08:36 PM

OH, I wish I had money to go... A student with no job, so no chance... :/

But you guys have to promise me to take many photos!!!!!

I think this tour will be amazing :) I do hope the stage won't be like in CDL10-11. Did not care for that one, so sorry...

Wonder, will Mannie attend her concerts? Maybe not every one, but some, right? Like the first one and the last one or something...
