Since Myself World Tour DVD won't be released I decided to sub the best fancams we had of the Tour.
The first video contains Butterfly, Pulchritude & Black-haired beautiful girl performances.

Though we should have expected that somehow. They never released a whole tour for Jolin, don't they? Acquired Talent was also just some performances.

Yeah because of copyrights issues with Sony I think.

This time it looks like Warner tried to get the copyrights but failed and decided not to release anything in the end.

Only the live CD version is still available on YesAsia :/

darn.....I was really hoping it would be released. I don't really understand the problem with the copyright issues between Warner/Sony and none of Jolin's tours being on dvd..

Her previous tours have been released actually.

Her first tour, J1 (Sony era), has been released in its entirety (I think... XD).
Her second tour, J2 (Dancing Forever World Tour, EMI era) has been released but contains only her EMI songs, so there are only a few songs in this DVD (and a lot of documentary).

For Myself World Tour (J3), it seems that Warner has chosen not to release it at all instead of doing like EMI and release a DVD with only a few songs.
It happened once to A-Mei, at the time her company decided not to release her Tour because it contained songs from her Warner era and they couldn't get the rights. So they decided not to release anything at all instead of releasing a "cut" concert.

But why is she able to sing all of her songs on the tour then? Shouldn't copyright issues being the same there? They make all the money with the concerts anyway.

^ ikr? Is it just me or does it seem like Taiwanese(?) labels are so catty? You never really see this kind of problem in other countries' industries. >_>

It seems from what I've read about it that singing these songs and broadcast the performances on TV is not a problem.

It becomes a problem when they want to release merchandise like a CD or a DVD with those performances in it.
For instance for JOLIN LOVE & LIVE, Warner had a really hard time getting the rights for Jolin's first ballad (Universal).

Although I already expected that, since she sung a lot of songs from her old labels, but still I can't help feeling disappointed as her vocals had improved A LOT sicne her last tour, I would really want to own this on DVD.

At least I had go to the concert and experience it live,or I will be very very miserable.
I seriously hate how Taiwan artists keeps changing labels, and due to the song copyright right, we hardly get to their tour DVD.
