wow... great performances! the original singer for "Otouko" looks like misono. and the Blue Velvet original singer has a great voice but why does Kuu's hair look like a bird nest in that song

I'm watching Kuu's THE REAL ME video (found here) and one part really moved me. She explains:
She doubted whether she should continue as Koda Kumi. Firstly because she has such a busy schedule. But also, because her husband got slandered when she announced her marriage. She gets slandered a lot and her family (husband+child) would probably get slandered too just for being associated with her. She felt her family would get hurt because of her. But when she voiced her feelings, her husband encouraged her to continue. He wanted her to continue to shine as Koda Kumi.

edit:
More stuff:
- She first started thinking of Koda Kumi in the third person when releasing Butterfly.
- After childbirth, her husband dieted with her (to support her).
- She says, in life, it's easy to just press 'reset' (as if you're in a game), but she wants to continue never giving up and to continue walking forward. It's difficult to balance her private life and her career as Koda Kumi, but she hopes she will be able to. She wants to continue singing.

Awwww ;-; People have no right to slander them, they're happy. >:C Kenji really is a great guy, especially for Kuu! He seems to really care for her a lot. :) It just shows when it comes to herself, Kuu puts up with the slander and keeps going forward without changing, but when it affects her family she is so caring to even give up her dream for them. <3

Very interesting! Thank you for posting this.

First of all, Kenji, you are the best! Kuu is a lucky girl. I've always thought it was cute, even before I knew he knew Kuu. To hear he's a really great guy is amazing.

Also, Kumi is such a strong woman. I'm sure people criticize her for her look all the time, but she sticks with it. Her confidence is inspiring.

Kuu is just snatching weaves every day; to simply put. You go, girl!
