and talk abt costume, after saw that "Curtain call" performance, i must "praise" her team do really good job on keeping all the past costume not only for ayu, her dancers, but also her vocalists; that Pride-era costume almost 10 years d!

and her hair during "Free & Easy" "Because of You" and encore part, really make her look like a mad woman :D

LOVE IS ALL - Timmy

"Snow is falling so white
Candles glowing so bright
The choir that sings a carol tonight
Hear the bells as they toll
Feel the love in your heart as it grows
Love shines a light

Search for one perfect thing
And the joy that it brings
Your sorrows will melt away in the thaw
So dry all your tears
And try to forget all your fears
Love, love is all

This is our destiny
To find a place to be
A place for you and me
To call our own
So many twists in the road that brought us to today
So many words we're to scared to say...

Search for one perfect thing
And the joy that it brings
Your sorrows will melt away in the thaw
So dry all your tears
And try to forget all your fears
Love, love is all"

Thank U. It's really beautiful. It is one of the best part of this cdl. Timmy's voice is amazing.

He's in the back

And there's this. Although they forgot to include CDL 04-05, his first performance, he wasn't in CDL 05-06.

Oh.. thanks. Yes.. I remember him.
So.. he is LICO now.
Hmm... I think, she/he looked better as a man than a woman. But ok... if he is lucky as a woman, that's the main thing.

Finally got the time to watch ayu latest concert!
An outstanding CDL! I love how energetic WE WISH is and her vocals are really strong here (I definitely like this more than the original 2002 version). This FREE & EASY performance is one of her best ever and she finally sustained the chorus well. Because of you is good as usual but CAROLS..oohh...I love this performance. Only ayu and the piano surrounded by the cold snowflakes, great view. The warmth in her voice is really visible. momentum was a bit better than the original (go ayu!!! love these winter songs) and IS THIS LOVE? was really fierce. Merry go round is fun but that's all and.....Love song!.. Ayu left me speechless with this performance! I could have lived without You & Me, Boys & Girls and Humming 7/4. The sweet Curtain Call, I really felt her emotions through this song but sadly Part of me was kind of weak. This song was either badly edited or ayu's singing was weak. I love the arrangement of Bold & Delicious and that final "Bold and Belicious" sung by ayu is really cute!
Also, Princess & Timmy's song is really beautiful. Those two voices blend together so good.
Overall, a great CDL..definitely one of my favourites along 04-05, 05-06, 11-12. ayu really did a great job (the only complain is those annoying voice effects that her team used, in some cases unnecesary.)

Thanks for the translation of Princess and Timmy song!
I usually don't care too much for the classic dance break, but I loved that one with the swing, it was beautiful.

I received my DVD the day of the release date but I watched it today, and is awesome!! I love every single thing of it and ayu is full of positive energy.

There's something different from 'CAROLS' lyric on this CDL13-14.
Check this part :

"... ima mo oboetteiru. tereta youni kimi wa uzumuite me wo sora shite BAKARI IDA NNE"

lyric from single and 'MY STORY' album...

"...me wo sora shite BAKARI DATTA NNE"

Wrong lyric? Ayu forgot lyric? Or just 'wide variety of the lyric'? :v

truehappiness 11th May 2014 10:00 AM

I figured she got something wrong during CAROLS.

I think changing lyrics to "bakari ita ne " was made on purpose. At least she "sung" it like that all 3 dates. Carols on 30 and 31 was 100 % lip synced with pitch-corrected vocals.

And honestly, do you really want to hear her "raw" voice for Feel the Love performance? There's a reason why they processed her voice THAT much~

I uploaded that "raw" version long time ago, it's in downloads section.
The thing is it was already processed (pitch-corrected), but just not to the crazy point of this DVD release. It was not sung live, but still the editing was not excessive. Both 30 and 31 it was the same lip sync version. She sung it live only on 29th (at least these vocals were not edited). When I uploaded the version from 31th, I wanted to believe it was live myself, but after I compared the sound from all 3 dates, I know it wasn't live ufortunately.

kinix 11th May 2014 11:26 AM

there we go again on the lip sync issue, experts confirming her lip sync from poorly recorded audio~

Well, first of all the quality is good enough :-)
It isn't hard to prove lip syncing when 1) you compare recordings from different days in a multitrack session in let's say Adobe Audition and as a result vocals are 100% identical. 2) you can clearly hear pitch-correction.
I know sometimes people wrongly acuse Ayu of lip syncing. But it's not the case here, since I've got evidence, so it's evident for me.
Of course you're free to believe what you want, but for me Ayu lip syncing several songs is a fact.

I do know ayu lip-sync every now and then, however, I don't understand a single guy's motive into coming in every now and then and kept repeating the same old thing~ ayu's 1st part of the concert is performance. encore is the part where she shows her true self. As long as she doesn't lip sync the encore, I'm fine with it.

Motive? Raising awareness I guess :-) I don't see anything wrong in pointing out the fact of lip syncing.

Lol because she's a vocalist and lip syncing is basically cheating? I'm fine with heavy back tracks with some real vocals thrown in like Koda Kumi always does, but full lip syncing is gross, especially for ballads.

is there two ayus?
