J/k, but also I can totally see now why Ayu’s team went back on allowing fans to freely take pictures with their phones during the show. That photo is definitely not too flattering.

Further, in regards to the setlist changes, I wholeheartedly agree that it was criminal to ditch YOU and The way I am for the new setlist additions, but a part of me believes that as much as we love these songs, Ayu herself probably gets bored with them in one way or another. I have a single Ayu playlist of about 20-25 songs I listen to regularly that I feel gets updated rather frequently just to keep it fresh or make it more cohesive.

She could've also just realized that these songs weren't getting the kind of response she was hoping. In the case of YOU, I can see how if she has a lot of newer fans attending the shows(which seems to be the case from watching the last few concerts), this song probably doesn't do much for them. The way I am(in Acappella no less) probably doesn't get much of a crowd response.

At the end of the day, as long as this woman keeps herself happy is all that matters. She definitely deserves it after the exhausting touring schedule she's had for the past year!

LOL did she really say that? I mean, technically she is performing 3 songs from a 5-track “album”(with partial inclusion of The way I am), so I guess you could say that is “lots” from TROUBLE :p

But she doesn't get bored with Boys & Girls and 1 LOVE. Boys & Girls made her come to fame, I understand why she keeps it in every single concerts (although I'm so tired of this song). For 1 LOVE, we've seen this song in concert every year since CDL14-15 and the choreography is almost 100% the same in these years performances. It's been so over performed and many fans have been sick to death of this performance. If the choreography is changed to the dance in AT07 I would feel more interesting.

The fact is when I attended Gifu performance last year, ayu told the crowd to sing along during the last chorus of YOU, I heard a huge voice which sounds like everyone in the hall was singing. I don't see she has many newer fans in these year. Actually the 10s and 20s in Japan don't know much things about her and think she is already “out of date”. Acappella version of The way I am is one of the interesting point of this concert and most important thing is, this is a tour for the album TROUBLE, but she tended to ditch the songs from TROUBLE instead of other over performed songs (like 1 LOVE, Movin' on without you), even though there are only 5 songs in TROUBLE.

^ 1 LOVE was only performed during CdM concerts and the 2016 TA tour...it wasn’t included in Just the beginning, Made in Japan, TA 2015 nor POM2018.

This forum always exaggerates. She performs something in more than 2 concerts: OMG SHE ALWAYS SINGS IT I'M SO SICK OF IT!

I've seen 1LOVE live at CdM and Trouble and it's super fun live, it makes me laugh and entertains me. Isn't that part of the point?

Yes, she sings Boys & Girls in every concert and I was bored of it too.
But when I was on PoM‘18 I fell in love again with that song.
It‘s so much fun live while she and the audience sing along together...

Songs that might seem repetitive on DVD are actually a lot of fun in concert. It's always different with the energy of the audience and the artist.

She also sang 1 LOVE in JTB Chapter 2. Starting from CDL 14-15 we can see how many times this song was appeared in concert:
2014: CDL 14-15
2015: ARENA TOUR 15
2016: TA TOUR 16
2017: Just the beginning Chapter 2
2018: TROUBLE TOUR
2019: TROUBLE TOUR

If we count CDL 14-15 and AT15 were in the same year, she performed 1 LOVE in 5 consecutive years. Except in JTB, the choreography were almost the same.

1 LOVE is not just performed in more than 2 concerts, but in EVERY YEAR since 2015. The most important thing make me sick of 1 LOVE is she didn't make anything new on the choreography after CDL 14-15 but only changed the background animation. Moreover, in TA TOUR 2016 she performed LOVE 'n' HATE instead of 1 LOVE during some performances. However she always only chooses songs which have been performed many times to be appeared in the filming date.

I think Ayu's always been pretty good at shaking up her setlists, while keeping the classics that fans that don't get to see her regularly will appreciate being present. However, I am hoping that the A^3 date will be lean more towards including a greater selection of classics, though JTB and Made in Japan did this pretty well imo.

I feel like M has been criminally ignored in the last few years, as has Dearest, but these two make sense as she did sing them pretty frequently around their releases.

Still more than 2. Have you ever seen her live? It's completely different that just watching her on DVD. Like I said, 1LOVE is really fun live and it fit well in this setlist next to W and Lady Dynamite.
