haha, yes karen, i do! :laugh but i don't need him to always make that type of music, you know? matsushita yuya does that genre perfectly, lol. i don't mind listening to shota for ballads or mid-tempo stuff like that. :P both artists are great in their own styles of music. but i still hope he'll have another song with a similar style to GOODBYE. all i ask is for one song, really! :laugh

^ I honestly find Shota's ballads kind of boring (minus Sakura...Damn that song is beaaaautiful) I like his up-beat stuff a LOT better (and even better when it sounds like GOODBYE <33333333)

the 1st song I ever heard from Shota was his 2nd single Aishiteru

I still remembered MTV China was overplaying it like nuts . He doesn't have the most entertaining PVs but his songs more than make up for things

there was a period of time where I boycott him for doing uptempo songs which I thought he sounded terrible in them & let alone making me cringe big time but now not really , I'm quite open minded from him now

Finally the new album is up for preorder but I must wait till next week to order it. I was hoping for Summer Time to get a PV on this album. The song titels sounds very nice and I'm sure that this album will be as good as his other two.

Shimizu Shota announces 3rd album “COLORS”

R&B vocalist Shimizu Shota has announced the release of his third album, “COLORS,” on March 9th.

The album will include his hit singles such as “GOODBYE,” “Kimi ga Kurasu Machi,” and “YOU&I.” It will also include covers such as the Ozaki Yutaka song “Forget-me-not” and his track from the “m-flo TRIBUTE ~maison de m-flo~” album, “let go.” It will even feature his collaborative song with American R&B singer JOE, “Be With You duet with JOE,” for a total of fifteen tracks.

The album will be released in the standard CD regular and first print limited editions. The limited edition will come with a DVD that features PVs for “Sakura,” “GOODBYE,” “Kimi ga Kurasu Machi,” and “YOU&I.” It will also have a video clip of Shimizu Shota working with a New York pianist on “YOU&I,” footage from the documentary he was creating.

Right before the album launches in March, on February 23rd, he will be releasing the “Forget-me-not” cover on Chaku-Uta for digital download. Shimuzu Shota will also be starting his nationwide “COLORS TOUR 2011” in June.

the text placement is much better on the CD only cover, so i like that the most, too. :P

I like the CD only cover more , too. But since I always buy the CD+DVD version for his albums I will buy it this time ,too.
