I like it too. There's something to it I like. It makes her look like a fragile woman, which is a good look for her ballad songs. Girls that cover up can still look good!

ps, i really want to hear rainy day live! I was listening to it in my car today, and it would just make for an awesome live performance. The arrangement of the song is really good, would sound awesome in a big venue :D

AT05 probably had her best combo of ballad gowns. Kimono wrap ballgown -> light ballgown + Victorian/olde European style bow-tie gown. (Most outfits before/after were either too big or just WAY costume-y for costumes)

But imo, this dress is a venture into more fashionable stage outfits. It's got the simplicity of her rainy day dress from AT06 but the sleeves + design + empire waist make it quite pretty, I think.

The Don't look back/INSPIRE outfit still wows me; I think it's the first/rare time where she used a color like purple for her concert outfits... the count down/Memorial address dress looks really familiar but I just can't remember where I've seen it...

Misa-chan described it as the AT03-04 dress for teddy bear and Memorial address fused with a leather corset-like thing. It was like the dress got possessed by "ROCK" or something.

I dunno why but I love Ayu + purple. :heart It's like my favorite color for her.

Purple and dark brown hair are deliciously amazing on her.

Heh, exactly. I went to AT09 last year, and, I never hated the ballad dresses, they were okay in pictures, but they looked amazing in concert.

I'm not a big fan of AT09's ballad dress, but hey, it may be more beautiful in person / on the TV / DVD version XD

she (and all people) have to wear tons of make-up when they're on stage. the lights will drown them out so badly and they have to maintain a look of perfection all night... otherwise fans will complain about how old/bad they look and the world will end.

Yeah, girls especially have to wear a lot of makeup... back in my choir show days, they'd always have to wear bright red lipstick with a ton of mascara and blush, haha.

Yeah Ayu kind of is over-make-uped in the photos. Lol. I remember there was rumors that Namie referred to Ayu as "the make-up monster" or something.

Concert/theater make up is heavy cuz it is meant to be seen from far away...

I think it's not so much that it's meant to be seen from afar, I think it's more like... They put on LOTS of make-up so it sticks and stays there through sweat and hard lights, etc....

I was in a little school of ballet, and we did some performances every year... my teacher was always angry cause our make up was toooo light and said us that the audience would see us like dead girls dancing LOL

It's a tote bag. Seems pretty normal in terms of size. I think you could fit most of the goods in it? It's not as big as some of the bags in the past though, I think.

It's not as big as, say, the AT09 bag. That thing is a monster. I can put a full load of laundry in it and carry it down the street to the laundromat when I need to use a dryer. >__>

I use my gold AT08 bag for any laundry if I need to, its the perfect size!

They said that the main concert was 90 minutes total and the encore was more than an hour.

While I was checking mixi to see if there were any confirmation of Chinese website set list, I couldnt find any, but what I could find is that she made a mistake on the second chorus while singing Until that day..., she made a mistake in Memorial Address, and made a mistake in Because of you.... ahahaha. It's funny! And maybe now people cannot say Until that day is lipsynced~

Is it me or...her eyes have become so slit..The makeup they did for her eyes is really beautiful.

I like the new setlist, if it's true that is. All the songs that were taken out are probably the inter-changable ones of the concert this year.

I don't think she changed anything.

Usually she changes the main setlist only if the tour is going overseas, or if there's a big break.

(Encore is "subject to change" though at any time, haha.)

i prefer previous setlist :)
