After all is said and done, the only song on R'n'R Circus I truly truly LOVE is Microphone. Some of the others I kind of just like but most of it I pretty much dislike. Basically because they are not as good or fierce as some of her older works.

I got my 2 CD only from CDJ today too =D and my mu-mo order with EMS is in Madrid at customs, should arrive tmorrow =D

I (no surprise) loved rnrc. Moreso than NL and Secret and GUILTY. Microphone. LD. SLT. Count down. Sunrise. Yw.../B....I adore them all so it was great. An album with a great message too.
Of course. I don't hate any ayu albums so I'm quite alright with her works. lucky me

I would love to see how an album with MOON/blossom would shape up. What will be the mood.
I love this single. I wasn't used to blossom as a summer song but now I adore it. Her summer songs usually rent so mellow and light. ^___^

wow lol. There's so much more to love on that album imo. RnRC has 8 songs I consider to be some of the best songs she has ever released. It's rare for there to be that many songs on an album I feel that about, so I think that album is extremely special.

Same. Like even though GUILTY and RnRC are my least favorite of her albums I don't necessarily hate them, I just don't enjoy them/like them as much as I do her other albums. Imho, she's never had an actually bad album.

I'm really curious too. With M/b and now crossroad I can't even begin to imagine how this next album is going to sound.

That's what I think too. Even my least favorite of her albums still have great stuff to offer. There's never one that I thought had absolutely nothing or very little good to offer - and that's what I'd consider a bad album.

Well I've mentioned it before and the reason why I don't particularily LOVE R'n'R is because most of the songs I could honestly live without. Had I heard them one time each, the only one I'd kill to hear again would be Microphone. count down grew on me, Last Links I liked but grew tiresome of quickly, BALLAD grew on me quite some, and I love RED LINE. Sunrise I've always liked too. But that's about it. The rest have "parts" I like in them, but as a whole the songs are not the ayumi hamasaki I've been yearning for. Lol.

Im extremely curious how the album with Moon and blossom will turn out. Since the album will include her road to 50´s trilogy and since she´s been doing a lot of old school Ayumi i wonder if the whole album (even covers and stuff) will have an old Ayumi feel, like I am... or Loveppears, Rainbow, and ASFXX where its more simple and, and less effects like the shine of Secret the huge dress of Guilty the eletro of NL the crowded rock feel of RnRL, dont get me wrong i loved all those, but i also miss the simplicity that her old album covers had. XP Ayu love!

The album is shaping up to probably have one of those long ballad sections like MY STORY. I used to dislike so many ballads like that. But now I adore cuz they're beautiful and unique of her others
I just feel if she goes in the direction of crossroad, MOON, and blossom. It will be a soft album.

But really, who knows what shell do. Hopefully there will still be at least one rock song. Hard to find an ayu album without one cuz they own

Considering we got "Rock n Roll Circus" out of You were..., BALLAD, Sunrise, and Sunset. I'd say this new album can pretty much shape up to be anything.

Same here. I was listening to MS one day and realized that I barely skip a track on that album when I used to gloss over the whole mid-section. RAINBOW which is ballad heavy was a total bore when I first heard it but now it's one of my favorite albums. I was never a ballad person at all, always preferring upbeat pop/rock tracks but Ayu really changed me around by showing with the right composition, lyrics, and emotion that a ballad can be just as or even MORE interesting than fast paced song. That's part of the reason I've been so disappointed with her recent ballads, I just don't feel like they're as interesting and great as her older works (especially the CREA compositions). MOON was a breath of fresh air and I hope it's a sign that I'll like/love the ballads on the next album.

I like ayu's ballads if she does them right. A Ballads was a total win in my book (I consider it more of a remix album though than a ballad compilation). I just hope this new album doesn't shape up to be half ballads or more. please have less than rnrc. But I guess you can't always have songs you like. Not every ballad can be a jewel or a heaven.

@sweet_melody: You can find it on YA (I think) and ebay but honestly CDJ is the cheapest price listing I've seen for it. It was $30 but then got moved up to $40 but most other places will have it for around $50.

I agree with that. :yes Yes, I like JEWEL, and maybe HEAVEN too, though they were quite different styles, but with all songs having its own different lyrics and music styles, all ballads are NOT created equal... And not even Ayu's ballads, and that includes the why-did-they-even-title-that-song "BALLAD"...

I'll jump in here and say I agree as well. I loved Heaven and Jewel as well, both having very nice styles and tones.

I just received my package today!! It was quite funny, I was still asleep and the bell rang, but I live on the 4th floor of a flat, so I knew the mailman was downstairs at the door.

I was still sleeping, so I jumped out of bed, rushed into something ugly and ran downstairs barefoot because I thought the elevator would take to long :laugh

Downstairs there was a nasty surprise because I had to pay €25 euros custom charge on the spot, so he went back upstairs with me and I paid him the money.

But the CDL + Poster are totally worth it :luv2

(also, I'm glad I ordered only 1 CD-only, blossom/MOON, cause I was quite un-excited to hold it in my hands. I'm still happy to have it for my collection, but still. I freaking love the CDL though!! Gonna watch it tonight :yes Also gonna find a nice place for my new 2 posters.. I want CDL over my bed, where SECRET poster is now!)

I wish I could get the CDL poster :( oh well... I love all the MOON/blossom stuff, these covers are finally growing on me.

Honestly/frankly , ARASHI's the only threat on the list . Yesterday when the links were up for preorder for Løve Rainbow , the CD + DVD limited edition sold out on CDJapan in like what less than 2 hours or so

CDJapan had to issue preventions by limiting people to get only 1 copy (be it for CD or CD + DVD) as fangirls crashed their website xD with regards to their 9th album Boku no Miteiru Fukei which will be out tomorrow

I have a feeling it's something hot. :lech Her new TA entry says she's having bright red nails to fit the photoshoot theme, so I think we can expect something fierce. ;)

MOON/blossom outsold Gossip Candy when Kuu promoted a lot and ayu didn't promote at all. I think Ayu would definitely be able to outsell her with the next one while she's promoting so we wouldn't have to worry about her streak.

Kuu would win digitally I think but Ayu would beat her on the oricon, her singles almost always sell more than Kuu's physically.

Avex probably won't do this, though.

I seriously doubt it will boost both of their sales. If anything, people won't be sure which to buy and it will hurt both of their sales.

It would be cute to see them both promoting on the same music shows again, though. They always seem to get along really good during them!
