Mmm finally watched game an I must say I don't regret checking in on the sweetheart this time (woo weekend was just the wrong time *nightmares*XD)
The chorus is great. And it will grow on me from there. I would listen to the song a lot if only the rest of it weren't so hard to get through. But the chorus is golden at least And the pv is cool too ^__^ That pic in the first post is gorgeous. And the title is fantastic imo. |
Stand by is beautiful! I think it's the first BoA's Korean ballad that I liked at first listening.

BoA is just one of those women who can look pretty amazing in any style. Super femme or tomboyish, she's beautiful either way. (Although I always have a bias for the tomboy image :laugh)

She does feminine really well but I've always felt that she seems most comfortable when she's in tomboy mode. It seems to go better with her energetic, almost aggressive, style of dancing.
The only look I have a problem with is when she tries to be all kawaii and girly. Sometimes it works, like in the "Kissing you" PV but most of the time it feels overly forced like in the "Nanairo no Ashita" PV. :( |

Hmm i'm not too impressed with the ballad, although ballads do tend to take longer to grow on me. I wish it was more of a quirky ballad like Hyori's "Swing" as it would probably stand out to me more, but for the moment I think i'll just skip it and play "Game" for now until the full album comes out :-)
I really like the MV for game. My fave part (also my fave part of the song) is the breakdown where she says "Welcome, you are invited..." :-D |

So in Korea that's not unusual? I think all those things are supposed to be announced earlier, especially the cover & tracklist.

nope, why shoudl they? do you look at the tracklist for 3 weeks and change your opinion? Getting the infos as close as possible to teh release date is much better in my eyes caus emany people will go out and just buy it. Otherwise many people will just forget about it.
