She was happy she could sing ‘ai ni tsuite’ with Suga (at Heian-jingu).

She also sang ‘boku ga boku de aru tame ni’ and ‘don’t cry anymore’.

Before the performance, she went sightseeing in Kyoto (see the pictures). She went to Touji (a temple) and Sanjusangen-do (a hall in Kyoto).

Her new single has been announced: ‘otoshimono’ (=lost things; lost property etc.)

It’ll be released on December 1st.

It’ll feature in the drama series ‘Dr. Dolittle’ (starting October 17th).

She’s rehearsing for her performance at Heian-jingu. She’s been there for a school trip before, but she never thought she’d one day be singing there.

She’s making songs again. She usually thinks up a melody while playing the guitar and thinks about the lyrics at the same time. So all she needs is a guitar, paper and a pen.

She’s small but she eats a lot.

She’ll have a All Night Nippon live on the 3rd of October.

She’s excited and nervous about having her first solo tour. It’s called “miwa yade! miwa dagah! miwa dayo!”

She’s rehearsing for a performance at Heian-jingu (a shrine in Kyoto) that’ll be held on October 2nd.

You can watch her ‘light music’ performance on her official website until the 24th. It shows her playing chAngE with 28 people. It’s also featured in Go Go GUITAR (release: 27 Sept).

She’s been creating songs lately, both with her guitar and piano. She went to an arranger today and fixed her lyrics up a bit as well.

She was on the radio show ‘Myuukomi (=music and comic)’ yesterday.

After that she went to record for All Night Nippon R.

She’s working on a new song today again, but she’s having trouble with writing the lyrics.

Her cat, Kuro-chan, helps her at times like that. (kuro = black)

She met Kuro-chan in a park when she was in her fifth year of elementary school. Kuro-chan was only about a week old and couldn’t see properly yet. Luckily, miwa managed to persuade her parents to keep Kuro-chan and the cat’s been a valuable family member ever since.

She’s recording a song, it’s at the same spot where she recorded ‘aozora’. She can see the sunset from there (out of the window) and it reminds her of a scene in Colourful (the movie).

She recommends everyone to go see Colourful.
