Even it is 15mm contact lenses that Ayu wears in the promo pic, it doesn't look that big in Ayu's eyes compared with the model's eyes. So, that means, Ayu's eyes are truly really big *O*

I hate these contacts. Ayu especially should not use them.

It's the huge amount of eye WHITE that makes her eyes so appealing. reducing the eye white is counter-productive.

People with little eye white should just accept that they don't have big eyes, cos these contacts don't make eyes look bigger.

^ Yeah I don't think her eye color is that light.

My optician once said to me, she even thinks that coloured contacts look obviously fake and cheap (especially if you are close to the face of the person who wears them).

So I am not a fan of these.

Wow contact lenses kind of makes eyes to appear bigger and since Ayu's eyes always looks so sparkly, I wonder if she wears them everyday, because her eyes without them looks kind of dull, like everyone else XD (I mean this in a good way)

I believe the limit is -5.75 :) My eyes are pretty bad (-3.75 and -5.50) so I could still get hem if I wanted! I may get the gold ones just because I think they look really really cool...

You do know that its not just Ayu that uses these right? If she does use them that is. Anyways Circle Lens and color contacts are a big trend going around in Japan and Asia right now.

Its all personal preference and that's what people prefer there. Just like I'm sure what I find attractive in a person isn't the same as what you find attractive the same can be applied to eyes.I think the reason people find them appealing might have to do with all the Anime and Manga character with huge eyes, big eyes are just seen as cute.



Not really its not a problem in Japan or Asia as I mention this is very common and you can find them in stores, and they exist before Ayu started promoting them. The ones Ayu is promoting just happens to be the designs she endorse. There might be problems in America but shes not exactly targeting people American is she? The product is market for the Japanese market, where color contacts are consider like another accessory like fake glue-on nails.

I've taken a Modern Japanese Culture class in school and while the contacts may seem odd for some people its very common in Japan. You can walk into a store and buy contacts with various design put them on and walk out like buying a new pair of shoes.

I think the graphic designers have no or just bad skills. A photoshop-skilled person can use this progam without letting the result look uber fake. But well! I guess it's meant to look fake since there are people appreciating this.

Got magical violet in Tokyo today! I am assuming these are safe haha What's nice is that they aren't super big (I got 14mm) so its more about changing the eye color then making them look gyaru/anime big. I have dark blue-grey eyes so the violet will enhance them/change the color a bit not necessarily make them look totally fake you know? (Though i of course do not mind the anime fake look!)
