I want ayu to perform Party Queen at MSta on March 23th. Then NaNaNa at Hey!x3. Then she appears at Music Fair and have a whole broadcast performing Party Queen, NaNaNa, call and how beautiful you are. And then she appears at Coming Soon!! and performs how beautiful you are. And then again on March 30th she appears at MSta singing how beautiful you are.

yeah, by the way, I was surprised that she felt OK about album leak. we tweeted her a lot and she even replied some of fans (like Aura :D)

It was probably released early digitally to compensate for the complete lack of singles barring how beautiful you are which was probably released when it was in order to be released while the drama was still airing. I believe the drama will be over by the time Party Queen releases?

The album was also released at the same time on chaku uta FULL.

But the album didn't "leak", it just got released through iTunes earlier.

^I think noone really know why. It would be interesting to know though. Maybe it was Avex' new type of promotion since they isn't really doing much else. :P

they do get the sales right? i mean...it works for them because people who really want to listen will buy the album on iTunes (or in a moment of folly) even though they already bought the album.

i believe there are a ton of people that buy it one itunes and also buy the hard copy...
I was like that when i had the money for some of my albums, but now I just stick with one or the other.

I tweeted her about Love Songs when it leaked 5 days early, she thanked me :) I think she really just wants people to enjoy her work. I also wrote on Timmy's wall telling him his PQ compositions are epic and he thanked me. They're both just...cool people I think haha

Ahh I keep hoping for a last-minute TV performance or something, but it looks like that's not going to happen. Disappointing

It is not really surprising. Ayu is hardly on TV anymore, especially the last 2 years. I thought she might perform on MSte - but it doesn't seem so. Could be that they still remember that one time when she didn't return from NY in time. This episode seemed to have ruined some trust, I guess.

FIVE's performance was in september while the mini-album was released in august.I hope to see a live in late march/early april

zip-fm 77.8 is available through KeyHoleTV streaming, others not.

I can only find ZIP-FM on KeyHoleTV... Maybe try out Radiko, but like the GyaO interview, use a proxy, although it was not working for me somehow...but the fact is: these don't appear to be Tokyo; the proxy that we use is for Tokyo (suitable for TFM, and even bayfm if I want to get my Sayuri Sugawara fix!), not for Osaka...

Yeah, this is kinda what I expected with that interview announcement. Those are not shows on major networks. At least what is listed so far are shows on networks with less viewership/distribution. What you want to see are interviews on networks like NHK, TV Asahi, TV Tokyo, TBS, NTV, etc. What's listed right now are 2nd or even 3rd tier channels.

I'm really wondering if that not showing up for Music Station had some wide reaching effects.

Well, I guess she wouldn't get the tie-in them...

I somehow doubt she got trouble with the media. She got to open Kouhaku again, I always thought of Kouhaku as pretty much the most prestigious music show in Japan.

She did mention that a lot of the interviews that would be shown on TV were for regional channels. It's not like she promised to be on big name shows.

I don't really consider Kouhaku in quite the same category as other shows, plus the contract to appear may have already been finalized or something like that. Who knows really?

It might be nothing. Just trying to find a reason for why there are no performances and now the interviews that are actually scheduled, aren't for anything major. I think its maybe a first that she is on any of these shows? I remember for A Best 2 she did these kind of interviews, but I remember them being mostly for shows that were on the major networks.

Maybe it's just the fact that the general public isn't that much into her, so she doesn't get invited? I mean she hasn't really had a bigger hit since Sunrise...

But there's artists selling a fraction of what Ayumi is selling on the major music shows. There's tons of people moving 5-20k copies per release only that regularily appear. It really boils down to either an actual problem with the shows or Ayumi/avex not wanting to go on shows right now it seems.

Guess it's too much to ask for a few TV performances though...lol
