It's a fan page posting. However, they do list what people will typically think of as the interludes.

http://www.facebook.com/ayufansgroup

It's possible that they have some kind of connection to a CD shop which has an advance peek at the final tracklist, but even then... how would they know when the album isn't even 'complete' yet?

I personally think they listed all of the songs first (which is why they're in the same order in the CD and DVD sections at the moment) and then they listed interludes. (It makes sense and if they were to put four interludes, tell me why would be the fourth, not Eyes, Smoke, Magic, which is good for anyone who wanted that to be an actual track.)

PoetGirl 12th February 2012 12:21 AM

How much I liked her interludes and actually always listened to them Im not a fan of that idea. I would be so happy if Ayu decided to have an album without any. Love songs didnt have to have them imo. Like at all.

truehappiness 12th February 2012 12:30 AM

I looked for some more info and apparently the 'interlude' information popped up on weibo if anyone is able to look for it. This also seems to mean that there is a sandwiched song inbetween a cup of tea and Eyes, Smoke, Magic since there are track numbers that are rather new.

05. taskebab
08. a cup of tea
10. Eyes, Smoke, Magic
13. Serenade in A minor

They also say that there is a hidden track.

EDIT: I found the source and it's one of the forums that get advance copies of Ayu's albums. They source avex as where they got this information. Here we goooo.

Unconfirmed tracklist:
01. Return Road
02. Letter
03. call
04. Tell me why
05. taskebab (interlude)
06. the next LOVE
07. Shake It
08. a cup of tea (interlude)
09. NaNaNa
10. Eyes, Smoke, Magic (interlude)
11. Party Queen
12. Reminds me
13. Serenade in A minor (interlude)
14. how beautiful you are + hidden track (Happening Here)

Remember. THIS IS UNCONFIRMED.

PoetGirl 12th February 2012 12:47 AM

horrible, we all wished eyes, smoke, magic is a full song. I already imagined it hip hop influenced XD , and now it will be rock interlude I bet lol.

truehappiness 12th February 2012 12:49 AM

I don't think this is 100% true, to be honest. It's a bit early for them to even have this information. If it is true though, Eyes, Smoke, Magic will likely be an electropop driven interlude since it leads into Party Queen.

Quote:

I thought they filled the gaps that they were meant for. Like a doll would be rather jarring otherwise or the transitions into blossom and do it again would be awkward.

Since Ayu has to deal with the fact that she's (not recently though) stuck to the Japanese way of releasing singles before an album, I wonder if her way of dealing with it on the albums themselves is through interludes?

PoetGirl 12th February 2012 12:52 AM

Better be electro than Pieces of seven like which was awsome but leaded to nothing really. Eyes, smoke, magic could be reaggae influenced too oh... song about ganja lol. and leaded to Party queen, song about alcohol lol.

Coelacanth 12th February 2012 12:56 AM

I think they have the track order, but they're speculating which are interludes... I mean, unless they've heard the album already.. how would they know?

They might have track times if they know that there is a hidden track, I guess.

truehappiness 12th February 2012 12:59 AM

"Because avex let them know" or something like that.

attractive nausea 12th February 2012 01:05 AM

I'm ok with this tracklist, i'm just disappointed eyes, smoke, magic is not a full song, but well this is still not totally confirmed...

Coelacanth 12th February 2012 01:07 AM

For an album titled "Party Queen" you would think that the upbeat tracks - Shake It, NaNaNa, Party Queen - would all be in the first half of the album. The whole first half looks like midtempo/ballads/rock songs.

I think it's intentional since "Return Road" begins where Virgin Road ended with Love songs? From taskebab onward though, it looks like an upbeat album except for how beautiful you are. She's been doing a lot of ballad bookends lately. (Actually, she does them all the time. The only albums to not end with a ballad are MY STORY, Duty, and RAINBOW. I'm not sure if Present counts as a ballad though.)

PoetGirl 12th February 2012 01:14 AM

It will be really funny if Party Queen happens to be ballad album .

attractive nausea 12th February 2012 01:16 AM

^I don't even want to think about this.
Hey btw, i think Return Road could start as if it was a ballad and then go all rockish and it'd end up being a freaking epic song, am i the only one who thinks that way? (i guess my expectations about this song and the pv are too high haha)

That would be interesting considering what we do know so far.

Shake It is a dance track with a dance-y PV, Party Queen is an electro-infused party anthem-esque track, and the only ballad we really know of is how beautiful you are. I do expect some pop-rock but I very much doubt we will get a ballad filled album. I wouldn't count it out though because Ayu loves confusing people. Maybe they're all going to be electro ballads, haha.

That might be how it ends up. I just want to see her in a tank already.

It'd better be a fake... :shakehead (and I'd rather have 14 songs than having Happening Here added)

TeamAyu2004 12th February 2012 02:04 AM

the track list doesn't bother me and looks rather interesting, but the hidden track (if there is one) better not be happening here...:rolleyes

also I just want to point out :

While the source said that there would be a hidden track, did they actually say that it's going to be "Happening Here"?

Though I'm not exactly sure how they would know for sure. It -is- very likely to be the hidden track if there is one though. There's nowhere else for her to put this song, really.

TeamAyu2004 12th February 2012 03:00 AM

^ how about very far away from anything that she would ever put on an album...

I'm sorry, but this is just a horrible song... I dont even think it will grow on me. :*(

Kazeyomi 12th February 2012 03:05 AM

I always thought she will gonna include Happening Here in her new album. I mean, she did the same with SEVEN DAYS WAR why can't she do the same with Happening Here?

I still hope not though :/ but I still have this terrible feeling lol.

nooooo!!! I was sure Eyes Smoke Maigc would be a full song!! :thud

emi♡ 12th February 2012 04:24 AM

That tracklist does make sense though...I am sad about no intro, but oh well. Maybe Return road is appropriate.

And lol Love Songs barely needed interludes.

microphone 12th February 2012 04:31 AM

I will have PS VITA to keep me entertained until Party Queen. Hmm... I seem to be obsessed with Ayumi.

yamadashun 12th February 2012 04:33 AM

but the task-interludes are always put at the latter parts in the tracklist. so when i see this taskebab as the first interlude i feel so weird. but i do believe that Return Road will be put as the opening.

and Happening Here as hidden track? T___T

This! Happening Here really doesn't deserves to be on Party Queen... :shakehead (Though it kinda fits tbh... but still that song needs to gtfo.)

Zeke. 12th February 2012 05:01 AM

Aren't task interludes usually rock influenced (well the more recent ones)? If so, then the next LOVE could be similar to is this LOVE? - Same amount of syllables, same order of words, "LOVE" capitalized. Then Shake It would be rock as well. I could see it being a fun party rock song.

tokyoxjapanxfan 12th February 2012 05:07 AM

Oh my... I really would prefer less interludes... And I really would prefer happening here to not be on it. Ayu, you don't have to include -everything- in your albums!

truehappiness 12th February 2012 05:09 AM

There's really nothing that ties the taskin/task interludes together besides the fact that tasuku composed and arranged them. taskinst was very rockish but tasking was more of a clubby beat.

From what I can see, the rumored album tracklist appears to start off in a rock/ballad territory before getting more upbeat after taskebab. I'm going to check what the reports were on Shake It since they seemed to point at the song being very dance poppy.

Ah, it looks like it was gwijai's post then. They said it was a fast song and I remember wondering if the PVs were going to be connected since it seems that they are going to have some of the same cast members in all three PVs (somewhat like that band in the background of Sexy little things/Microphone).

With this piece of information combined with Nigel's Tumblr (the stylist for the extras) it looks like Shake It is for sure the first PV filmed in an apartment in East London. I think it's also safe to say that Return Road was filmed in the factory with the tank, scientists, and drones, and NaNaNa was filmed at the Fabric nightclub in Farringdon with people doing a bit of gymnastics and in crazy makeup/hair/tattoos/etcetera.

The only reason why I think this probably has some validity to it is that it was posted at a forum that does have confirmed connections with avex. (And it was posted by a moderator there... not some random user.)

The font doesn't really say anything about whether it's true or not since they probably just made it like this to post on Weibo easily or something. What does bug me though is that it's a bit early for us to be getting this information.

Hm, looks very "Ayuish". It might start with an epic (Return Road) goes with electro/or medium (like It was or sending mail), then it might be rock - call/Tell me Why, then taskebab (something upbeat) goes to next LOVE (which might be anything - from something like STEP you to something even like Sparkle), Shake it might be a little medium for some reason - then interlude - upbeat till Party Queen, reminds me might be something like Like a doll/November or alterna (anything really) and then a cute classical interlude to ballad. One ballad WOULD MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD! Even if not, please, let it be ROCK ballad.

I can wait for Return Road. PV looks AMAZING. Better the song be.

pepper 12th February 2012 06:32 AM

+++++ I am BETING one of the song will be very cutesy-bubble-ayu-and-her-immature-voice. There are only TWO + "FIVE" of the full album without the bubble-gum song!

Love songs: Thank U
RnR'C: Sunrise ~LOVE is ALL~
NEXT LEVEL: NEXT LEVEL/EnergizE (still something a lil diffrent than usual though)
GUILTY: glitter
Secret: Beautiful Fighters/BLUE BIRD
(miss)understood: Beautiful day
MY STORY: HONEY/Replace
Memorial adress: ANGEL'S SONG

-- break in RAINBOW and I am...! --

Duty: immature
LOVEppears - ASfxx doesn't count, they are all in some way cute ;D

SO PREPARE FOR THE CANDIES AND UNICORNS!! SHE WON'T LEAVE US IN PIECE! XD

But seriously, I would be VERY happy if she would NOT include the "cheese cute voiced song" this time. But the one that might be the one I would say NaNaNa or the next LOVE.

PoetGirl 12th February 2012 06:37 AM

how beautiful you are had some cutesy vocals, even tho song is not super cute, I hope for at least one cute.

JackieRos 12th February 2012 06:40 AM

if that's true I'm glad happening here is there.

truehappiness 12th February 2012 06:42 AM

Wouldn't Party Queen count as the cutesy track of the album since it's about partying and is really bubbly?

hmmm.. kinda right. But still very "EnergizE" type (party+electronish) so it isn't really the type I think of, but yeah, still bubbly. I hope this is the only one :) Still a good one! I really like Party Queen.

I wasn't that excited for Love songs... Because I wasn't fan of the singles. I love Love songs but especially for album tracks. Now I'll got all-in-one, omg. It's gonna be a good day. Yay. <3

cosmicfirefly 12th February 2012 06:56 AM

I'm still hoping for only 2-3 interludes, 4 just seems like too much for 14 songs. I actually like Happening Here, plus it's just a bonus track so I wouldn't mind it if was there

I remember when Secret track-list was leaked and so many people were whinging that "kiss o' kill" was a horrible title and they hoped it was an interlude. :innocent I learned long ago not to judge songs by titles.

freedreamer 12th February 2012 10:19 AM

ok Ayu, just announce the 2 other new songs and ur next Double A single already XD

Elednist 12th February 2012 11:12 AM

4 Interludes are too much!! But I don't believe in that tracklist, it's not official and the order of the songs doesn't convince me xD Sounds weird because we've not listened to any song, but the sequence Letter - call - Tell me why ... At least one of that songs looks like an interlude, besides, with that titles the album should be GOSSIP QUEEN o3o xD
I hope that's not the actual tracklist. Just 2 interludes please... U.u'''

You should just disappear, because you're making no sense.

So many of her albums had 3-4 interludes so I don't see wtf is the big deal here. People release studio albums with 8-10 songs now days. Not to mention that even some of those songs are plain fillers.

ayumisrael 12th February 2012 11:23 AM

The kuu fans are probably spoiled because kuu released an album with 19 songs with 2 interludes, though I will say that it's really hard to listen to such an album all the way through. I usually arrive to Slow and skip to ESCALATE. I heard it in full just the first time... I'm starting to think that too long albums aren't good, the good thing is a lot of new songs. But yeah, not all of them are great.

It really depends on how good the songs are. In ayu's album if it's true that there will be 4 interludes then there will be 8 completely new songs still (taking hbya and PQ off).

Duty had 12 songs (1 interlude) so 11 full songs and it was epic. Party Queen would be just 1 song less.

So yeah, it really depends on how the songs are and if the quantity matters to you so much - Don't buy the album.

If Party Queen is as good as Duty, then I don't mind that 4 interludes hahaha But I just don't believe that tracklist because if she recorded 12 new songs, there are 2 missed songs on that tracklist, will they be released as a single?
I agree with you that the important thing is the quality, let's see if soon the official tracklist is confirmed ^^

PD: I also switch songs from Slow to SCALATE xD

AyusJewel 12th February 2012 11:44 AM

The quality is more importend as the quantity!

I think, you should take pot luck!

I am really excited...also with 2 interludes more or less

!Lawi! 12th February 2012 12:11 PM

This tracklist seems really likely, but I'm ok with it anyway... It's still 10 new songs ! As long as the interlude are better than the interludes from Love songs...

You are totally missing the best part of the album! lol

As for the length... I wish she would have more, but I guess its just the going trend, which is fine... 4 interludes is a bit much, but I'm fine with it as long as they are good.

Imo JAPONESQUE would be way better without songs like Brave, Everyday, You're not alone as they reek of fillers and are barely b-side material. Now while saying quality over quantity is pretty dumb, as obviously the quality standards are different for everyone, it seems to me that Ayu picks her songs very carefully and isn't going to throw in a song just for the sake of having more tracks on the album. I'd always pay more money for perfection that Memorial Address was than for an album with 20 songs and 20 PVs which I barely like.

LOL we all thought that u guys were talking about the actual PV preview screencaps.
so it's the setting pics.

TeamAyu2004 12th February 2012 04:51 PM

^ i don't know... just from the pictures the PV's look dull.
I try not to think about what everythings going to be like till I actually watch/hear it.
Otherwise I might be disappointed... although I never really care for ayumi's PV's anyways...

ilovekodaa 12th February 2012 08:12 PM

ayufans is my simple opinion, I'm no troll, I like ayumi. That is all. You should respect different opinions,if i argue something different doesn't mean that i am a troll.

how can you even say JAPONESQUE >>> PARTY QUEEN when one of them is not even out yet.

I've seen you trollin' before, not surprised you're a troll lol GORDA PASIVAAAA

So did many others. For a Japanese market that's nothing strange. They'll keep releasing stuff as long as it's selling. We have no issues with people thinking differently. If you think that an album with 10-11 new tracks isn't worth the money then don't buy it, if you want everyone to know that, at least explain yourself ^^ as I fail to understand your logic every time.

I think the length of the tracks will prolly help you out and you'll know the moment you see the file sizes.

MissElin_ 12th February 2012 08:40 PM

I'm actually (for my first time ever as an Ayu fan) thinking of cancelling my order. Naturally I will do nothing until I get some previews/leaks, covers and get to know what's inside this special CD+3DVD+Blu-ray box... But after listening to hbya, Party Queen and Happening Here I must say that I have no good feeling for this album at all so far. All those three songs will I never listen to again if I can choose. I might end up with not having this CD (and I'm one of those crazy collectors) if the rest of the albums songs follows the same pattern as those three songs. And to think that it will be 4 interludes. Only 8 more new songs thats can save this album for me. And... that's almost only half of the albums total amount of songs.

Only future will tell if I end up buying this album or not (I really really really hope the rest of the album will prove my guts wrong and I end up to love love love it).

That's thinking kinda reminds me of some gag where someone was counting something (i dont remember anything really, it was something old) and there was like 10 cookies and someone said that 3 and 2 is very close to 5 so "this is your halth of the cookie jar" (it was something diffrent, but the moral is the same) - if you keep being negative about it, you'll find that every song might ruin the album... I think, maybe (for me) (miss)understood was perfect, but then it's a after-thinking and all of her albums have some mistakes/weak points. But thats the music, she will not make new songs THAT EVERYONE will love it. Maybe I will dislike this album? Who cares, she is still recording, and maybe next time it will be "my song". I remember when I was VERY positive about RnRC and it came out... "meh". I loved 2 songs and one single, lol, but still, i keep being positive :) That's not needling you or sth cause I see what you wrote after that xD I just think that we will see, and the future is near, and the future is bright! XD

Return Road is shot in that old factory by the Thames, that's a world heritage site! (Or at least a 'British heritage' site, they can't demolish that building). How cool!

I understand what you mean but in order for people to not think that you are a troll, you need to simply change the attitude you post in and also not semi show you are in favor for someone specific. Also If you write that an album with 14 tracks (4 interludes and 10 songs) is not worth the money, at least explain more rather than just write 4 interludes, it doesn't worth the money.

You don't have to write history books but I think that a lot of people at least back up their opinions with explanations. You don't have to defent yourself, but also understand people who get a troll vibe from your posts. :)

ilovekodaa 12th February 2012 11:35 PM

njanjayrp 12th February 2012 11:42 PM

emi♡ 13th February 2012 12:02 AM

Sorry if we got spoiled, but competition is competition. Im not saying Ayu needs to step it up, but if people want more from her, your arguments for quality over quantity dont really mean anything.

If it were true, I would have much rather had one song a year since 2007 rather than all the crap she gave us, but the world doesnt work that way.

Im actually happy that this album has a familiar format. I was never one to complain about her album formulas though, I like my diversity.

love in music 13th February 2012 12:25 AM

can people stop trying to promote other artists here it looks really desperate.
i thought she was done with the 4 interludes.. well at least there aren't any singles on this album lol.

SKYia 13th February 2012 12:26 AM

I used to like her interludes, esp all taskin**** but they got bad recently, I actually don't enjoy almost any from Love Songs, and maybe I like two from R'n'R Circus, but on the other hand I LOVE her concert interludes, those that aren't on any CD, like the one with Ayu and Maro in rain on AT09, all from AT05 and AT06, the Ayu-Shuya-on-stairs from AT08, I wish for interludes like that <3

btw, found this on FB, I fell off my chair XD

start to deal with a fact koda will never have such international forum as Ayu has. that must be connected to the fact of 'irrelevant things' being released :lech

And I don't see why anyone would be mad that Kuu doesn't have a forum of her own. Because that's really a measure of how good an artist is.

People need to stop think that singers are some sort of gods and comparing them. Ayu and Kuu are two different singers and liking their music is purely opinion. They are people too. They are both pop singers and for both of them the bottom line is probably money.

emi♡ 13th February 2012 01:22 AM

The better measure is how much people are so threatened by her, they have to keep talking crap :laugh

I dont understand why you guys just dont ignore the koda crazy. If her posts are spammy, report the ****.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 13th February 2012 01:37 AM

Meeeh.

What ayu does and kuu does is their own damn business.

Why would they need to try to compete, when the fans do the job damn well for them :laugh

I'm just gonna wait and enjoy the album when it comes out, that is if I like it obviously :P

everlastingRAINBOW 13th February 2012 01:45 AM

AHS ~SPAM is ALL~

SKYia 13th February 2012 01:48 AM

Oh come on, you talk like people can't like both Ayu and Kuu.

I must say Kuu recently hits my personal taste, they both try different style but Kuu somehow does it 'my way' or 'the way I like it better' but I respect and love that Ayu does things her own way and she never tells later that she's sorry that the idea way bad or that she could have done it in a different way.

The album may have just 10 full songs but I believe these will be the songs that will rule my mp4 for the next year. I may listen to Japonesque now, and I love it as an album but I often switch to FIVE and keep listen to it on repeat mode and I don't feel it's worse just because Japonesque has ~15 songs I enjoy while FIVE has only three, it's as powerful or maybe even more depending on my mood.

There are some known artists who release albums with 16 songs and I hardly like one song from it, while Ayu and Kuu's albums I can buy on spec.

cosmicfirefly 13th February 2012 02:30 AM

^ Completely agree!

microphone 13th February 2012 02:43 AM

Are we talking about Koda Kumi? I liked 'grow into one'. Her vocals were great in '1000 no kotoba' but her following albums were all misses for me.
