I really like that song a lot. A really beautiful song.

so listening to it for the 4th time. i like the melody of chorus part, but he voice at somer parts is a little bit annoying... and it still lack the WOW point for me. it has potential to turn into a very very gorgeous thing, i do like the melody however. I need more drama towards the end. like a sudden drop of heavy drums and stronger arangement, but, i can agree it's good. It is! still doesn't beat Melody to me.:innocent

The sound of the song is alright, but her voice is awful. It might grow on me either way, though.

Before listening to Sweet Scar, I still wonder why she put 'again' as the title. But now, I might can understand what does it mean. Rainbow/Duty era again. I love it. Simple but can make me put it on repeat. I even can listen to this song for the whole day.

I was hoping she would go back to something "simple" and gentle like this. But she seemed to be far away from this kind of sound.
I'm really happy she did it again, moreover it is great!
There could have been a crescendo at the end, but it woud have been expected. It stays calm until the end, and it's nice this way.
And I was expecting nothing great from DAI.

And for me, not just Melody but I like all of LOVE better. Maybe I'll grow to like this song more though later. But so far, I don't get the comparisons to RAINBOW. Maybe Duty since I don't even care for the Duty ballads much either.

Beautiful, reminds me of hanabi and the duty album. Very lovely and I'll grow to love it a lot. Did it blow me away like BRILLANTE, not quite but this is her best song since the party queen album :)

To be honest, this song feels like a leftover from GUILTY. But, I hope that the PV has a Cinderella theme. :D The song itself also reminds me of the opening theme to the anime "Oniisama e". :P

I don't mean this is any mean way, but I think I'm over Ayumi. I'm sick and tired of the surplus of ballads. She pretty much has no creativity (to me in my opinion) left. All her ballads are pretty, but there IS such a thing as overkill.

but there's like only one ballad on her last full studio album and you'll be pretty hard pressed calling any of the songs on Love ballads.

No, there are other people who think that it's dull.

However, I think it's very atypical of what Ayu (and most other J-Pop acts) normally puts out which is why a lot of people like it.

I think the fact that there's not much going on arrangement wise is what makes it so epic. The cello in the middle takes my soul!

This. Just look at the latest singles by Kana Nishino and Koda Kumi, they aren't bad songs, but they are very, very typical of J-Pop especially in this season. So getting "Sweet Scar" is refreshing.

I agree with u on Kana's releases, but Kumi's songs arent't typical J-pop at all imo.
