Someone (might've been truehappiness) said that avex seemed to have problems with the company who usually makes the calendars, and another artist at avex (Koda Kumi, I think) also didn't have a calendar for 2013. I do hope they start making Ayu calendars again, but I wouldn't count on one for 2014, unfortunately.

Please. I'm still mourning about this. I love calendars SO MUCH (I'm capable of buying several of them, I don't mind at all having like 4 or 5), and it has been two years without an Ayu one. Again, I'm in mourning.

I don't really like Ayu's look with contact lenses... I hope she stops wearing them at some point. I never liked them on anyone... It looks too fake to me.

I love Ayu with both contacts and without contacts. For example, CDL10-11, her eyes were just a wow... I just think it depends on what kind of contacts. The one Ayu used during HLS and ABL were acceptable to me. There are people that use the circle lenses that enlarge your eyes like crazy, and those are just plain creepy... So I'm glad she's not using one of those.

Many Japanese people don't like flashy lifestyles for their pop stars. That's just how it is... Perhaps it's because the "normal" people live such mundane, systematic, unselfish lives that when they see pop stars living so freely, it makes them jealous and hateful. I mean people can't even dye their hair here for most company jobs. :-p

Plus, people don't even know she's still releasing new music half the time because "they haven't seen her on TV."

But tbh, the only way I see a lasting relationship working out is if she part-times it in the US, considering he's in school.

It's kind of strange having her in the US, and I don't mean this offensively. But when I started listening to Ayu, I always imagined she'd pretty much just stay in Japan. And then all of a sudden, she came to LA----not once but MANY times---and to know that she's like driving around the same city that I'm in, is cool but it's also just like "Wow, that's surreal."

I imagine that the Japanese fans aren't too particularly thrilled about her being here all the time (can't speak for them but I can imagine that being an feeling). It seems like she's filming over here, recording over here, falling in love here. She bought a house. It just seems like she doesn't want to be in Japan, or maybe Japan feels stifling for her---don't know.

I do think the single will be harmed because of the news, especially considering if the general Japanese public are not fond of him being an American, plus the fiasco last time. Does she just go back to Japan to tour and release her music? Because it just seems like she's here in the US and not there. Does she have plans on trying to become an Western artist?

I had this same exact thought the other day in concerns to Japanese singer MiChi because she was in Hawaii doing a marathon but it's like, she's running with people who may have never heard of her but she's like this singer in Japan complete with albums and music videos and live performances :laugh

Ayu released a new album, I don't remember the exact name...but in the cover she was laying in a pile of flowers and wearing this all flowered dress...her hair was long and curly and she was looking up at the camera. There was a red border too. The only two songs I remember from the tracklist are "REMEMBER GOD" and "GOD" :laugh

I don't think she really wants one. At least not for the next year, we already have a single that probably will lead to an album and a new tour. Maybe she wants to see first if she can be with someone for some years at least and then bring a baby. It's smart but it will also be harder for her biologically.
