I really hate that the songs have leaked so early without anything else leaking.

Like, in a month I won't even care about the album anymore.

But is the early release/leak the reason for that?
I'm pretty sure I'll listen to the songs I like in a months time and I will ignore those that I'm already ignoring despite the early release :) for me it has more to do with the songs themselves and not with the release but maybe that's different for everyone :)

I think (at least for me) the fact that we have all the songs before we even know the album name, track list or cover art is really weird lol. For me an album's concept is a factor in how I feel about the songs, and now I will remember these songs as "PREMIUM" with the cover of Feel the love/Merry-go-round haha. (I have a visual memory. x3)

For example, I changed the Love songs cover into the side-view alternate cover from the start. Later I tried switching it to the real cover but it made the songs "feel" weird. Idk how to explain lol.

Plus I always remember the first time I hear a song (Like a doll when I was in Yokohama, Thank U at my friend's place in Tokyo, GREEN on the bus to high school, Sparkle at home in a Japanese car commercial, etc.) and now these songs have a weird random association haha.

I just realised that Pray, Angel & Terminal flow really well. Good choice. So Pray kinda makes sense in this context.

So glad I've saved two songs for the album release... I won't watch any of the PVs until I get the album either.

I hope there will be GOOD pv's. Good Pv's means a lot more interests into songs. Merry-go-round have so boring PV (she just look pretty in there) that I lost interest in this song :P Maybe good PV'S will change my mind for this album. I changed opinion for song after Melody PV (sooo eye-candy, I love this PV, I havent seen such thing in music videos)

I do get what you mean, I have that with some songs. But I usually associate certain events with them :)
I also think it's weird to have all the songs but not a cover or the videos but what I was wondering in my original response about was wether it would make me not listen to the songs as much as I would have if they would have been released all at the same time. Leak vs. regular release :)
Because for me personally if I like a song I will still listen to it, if it leaked early doesn't matter to me.

My expectations are low for the PVs. I hope isn't a trilogy.

That's exactly why I vowed to wait the release date to listen to any new song, lol.
Otherwise, I ruin the my entire "album experience".
But I can't bring myself to have low expectations about the PVs, I caaaaan't! There's so much potential and I have a good feeling about them. (Or maybe it's just that she chose to reshoot Feel the love and Merry-go-round, and I'm just TOO grateful and happy, lol).

I believe it was said that the new feel the love was to feature ayupan x bloody bunny or whatever and that mgr would feature verbal. So I don't expect anything serious. Just something cute and maybe fun

Omg why are you all freaking out over the covers. XD They look like a normal magazine shoot. No concept or relation to the music whatsoever AND they're peach colored (which most people here, excluding me, hate). The album covers had better be awesome!

Oh that's an interesting question, actually... I usually listen to a single 5x more than album tracks because it's a small release to focus on instead of replaying an entire album. I guess if the tracks had leaked as intended (2 at every new concert date) it would've been pretty awesome.

Altho honestly the entire album is already in my top played Ayu songs lol... Don't think I've been replaying an Ayu album this often since NEXT LEVEL. I'm glad it "leaked" so I don't have to wait, I just wish we had the bloody covers LOL

Already listened to six of the new songs and I'm very disappointed. The only song I find really beautiful is "NOW & 4EVA". The rest has either too much techno/electro sounds in it for my liking or are boring. I also haven't liked Ayu's PVs in a long time and the album is really short too, so yeah...another Ayu-album I won't buy.

It makes me so sad, because I'm a die-hard Ayu-stan, but after "Love Songs" I just didn't like the way her music was going anymore! :no

Wow the other two covers look great! Not my favorite style (too...pastel?) but I think she's been doing this kind of covers since LOVE.

It would be horrible if the covers for the free promotional CDs turn out to be the covers for the different editions of the album, but I have a gut feeling that that's what we're getting. I expect variety for single-album covers but I don't know: appears is similar with LOVEppears, SURREAL is similar with Duty, Dearest is almost similar to I am... (but she changed her mind last minute).

I don't think that Ayu would release these promo pictures as the album covers. Only because I don't see the logic behind naming the album "Colours" and then use a concept such as this. She's never had such a huge disconnect in her previous albums. I have faith in Ayu.

I'd agree too, except I never did get over the fact that the cover for "GREEN/Days" was white and pink. Who knows? Anything is possible. :laugh

Ehhh, I don't really count singles when it comes to concept. Generally, they are just ~pretty photo shoots~

Maybe she might approach it like RAINBOW with Colours? RAINBOW's cover and inner booklet were kind of... different in vibe. Cover was nude blue Ayu with colorful hair while the booklet was rainbow feather Ayu in some water. Only thing they had in common though was the color and even then it wasn't really executed in the same way.

In this case though, I'd just hope that they keep the 'fashion' there but inject color into the covers at least.

While I do agree that Rainbow's cover and inner booklet were different in vibe, they both still fit the overall theme of Rainbow. I don't feel that these free CD covers fit the theme of colours. Unless she means colours in a different way. Who knows. I guess time will tell.

The free singles covers would have made great first press slip case covers if she ever did an A Ballads 2.

Yeah, I don't know if the shoots she's been doing recently will be able to fit the "Colours" theme... but only time will tell.

The photographer she's been using a lot lately doesn't seem to do things that are too colorful or vibrant in general which is worrisome. It's all the same general style as everything else he's taken for Ayu.

i did my own covers, i had my youtube set on HD so i think these might be HQ, and they are resized by me to itunes standard size.

Gracias. :D I originally made it just to show how much she's been over using the peach/cream/salmon/tan/beige color scheme since Love Songs came out, but putting them all together, I actually think it looks really cool. I'm tempted to make other signatures like it with over album/single covers that have related colors.
