No

DarkShaolin 30th January 2006 01:37 AM

Oh yeah. ^^
Well, I like some Madonna's old stuff a lot, but lately she's been doing a lot of stupid things in my opinion, like all that duets with Britney Spears. Please don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Brit-fans, I just can't stand Britney. ^^;

Xianghua 30th January 2006 02:31 AM

Not at all. :(

darkswordz 24th April 2006 04:36 PM

i find her Confessions on A Dancefloor fasinating =D especially her Hung Up =)

Lyra-Shini-Gami 27th April 2006 07:33 PM

I like Madonna much more than Kylie M! Her New Album is very good, and very good if you like to dance~!

BlueBird 19th June 2006 12:57 AM

Haha...it's good to see this thread. I am the biggest Madonna fan on the planet I think. She is truly the queen of music.

I can't wait to get my hands on the CD+DVD documentary that will be released this week. The Re-Invention tour is my all time fav tour. But that may very well change when I see her Confessions Tour July 23rd in Miami...

Vinylfantasy 19th June 2006 09:22 AM

I can't wait for "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" hehe. I've seen it, but I want the CD really bad...

BlueBird 19th June 2006 01:49 PM

Me too. I am so excited about the rock version of ILNY. The small sample I heard in the documentary sounds amazing. The Beast Within should be nice too. I wonder if it's the same version used in the Justify My Love remix minus the chorus?

*rushes to youtube to watch RIT opening*

Vinylfantasy 21st June 2006 10:19 AM

I like the version from "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" better, but that's just me.

My Rainbow 21st June 2006 06:46 PM

YESS!!! She is THE REAL QUEEN OF POP AND ALL MUSIC!!!!

ohsixthirty 21st June 2006 06:54 PM

I like old Madonna's songs like "La isla bonita" etc. I think she was incredible then. I like watching her old pv either. In the contrast, I cannot stay her... appereance now - it's disguisting to me to see her dancing in short outfit and doing many strange things. It does not mean I don't like her latest music though ;) (Sorry is one of my favs)

shavoingin 24th June 2006 10:51 PM

not at all

kirika 24th June 2006 11:08 PM

I've said it's my opinion ;)

Confessions will be the best night of your life. It's been almost a week since I saw her and I still think about it EVERY DAY!
The opening is just.... incredible. I thought RIT had an amazing opening, but wow... Confessions tops it times 100 for me.

People tell me I look young for my age and are like "Oh.. sorry, I thought you were younger." But I think it's a compliment! I want to look young like Madge when I'm that age!

She's also a lot stronger, more flexible, and has higher endurance than me! I would die if I had to do 1/2 of what she does on stage every night. Oyeeeesh.

oh 47 really? then I must agree with you, she's got quite the health and body to do her work.

Duh, she does tones of yoga and even more of fitness.
First I was suprised when I saw her arms in Truth or Dare documentary. Then I was stunned with her hips and butt in Hang Up video.

Yep, she does train her body.

evolusean 1st July 2006 03:53 PM

Her body is a temple, entirely.

I'm not a huge fan, but I do like some of her music. And they say there is no live performer like her around. A choreographer friend of mine said she went to see a Madonna show a few years ago, and she went in to a back bend, and sang from that position as she "walked" forward. Out of control. She's a really great dancer, too, and a talented writer.

Vinylfantasy 2nd July 2006 07:30 AM

Watch the opening to the Vogue performance from the Re-Invention tour. I was floored O.o That takes some major strength >_<

kirika 3rd July 2006 04:10 PM

Yeah, I must agree, she keeps fit ;-) oh, btw - I heard her best friend is Gwyneth Paltrow - is that true? There's a big agre difference between them so I was a little surprised.

JesA 8th July 2006 11:37 PM

one word....no...im not gonna explain why though cuz i would risk getting in trouble lol.

xiaou-xijiang 9th July 2006 01:24 AM

I don't collect her CDs and have a shrine or anything, but I like her music and her style. What attracts me to Madonna most is her acheivements and her outlook on life and music. She's an awesome artist/entertainer that achieved so much in music.

XFER 10th July 2006 04:27 AM

I really liked some songs from "Ray of light" and a couple before that, and maybe one more after the album. But other than that, i dislike her music so much.

emi♡ 10th July 2006 05:08 AM

i like "Immaculate"

I never really got into her new stuff, though

immel 10th July 2006 12:59 PM

I like some of her music, and I'm a great fan of many of the things she has done and managed to do throughout her career.

I'm not really a fan of Madonna but I said Yes, partly because I love the song Material Girl to no ends.

JaysenRyan 10th July 2006 01:45 PM

I am not a die-hard fan, but I do not hate her. I love some of her songs, but others I detest. She's like on of those people you can take or leave, but I do like when she releases new cds. Im probably the ONLY person who likes her American Life album more than any other of hers. I actually paid for that cd when it came out and i rarely can afford cd's.

DRKDivine 10th July 2006 09:55 PM

I like the old Madonna, i don't care much about Madonna now.... :/

JackieRos 25th April 2010 01:47 AM

I juts like her song Hung Up

Far Away 25th April 2010 02:34 AM

I used to like Madonna when I was little, but I haven't been into her music for a long time.

aisubeki 25th April 2010 02:47 AM

I absolutely LOVE Madonna. I don't listen to her enough, sadly. I admire her a good bit :)

Andrenekoi 25th April 2010 03:00 AM

HAIL TO THE QUEEN OF POP! ò_ó

microphone 25th April 2010 12:18 PM

because Ayumi like her, I tried very hard to like her too.

but... No. :<
Madonna is pretty, though!

fuawas 25th April 2010 01:06 PM

She's one of my western queens along with Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga <3

hearted 29th April 2010 05:16 PM

she has nice music but she should really REALLY put some clothes on, your 50, woman!

jean-baptiste 30th April 2010 01:09 AM

i love her. she could pull off anything and it won't be weird to the media.

YuriChan 30th April 2010 10:36 AM

I say yes... :) Because I did listen to her growing up! :)

2Hurt 30th April 2010 11:36 PM

I dislike Madonna... I don't like her at all... also because she thinks she's all sexy but she's not... :no

love in music 1st May 2010 11:25 PM

It's cool that she has been around for so long and is still kind of popular, but I dislike her music, voice, and her personality.

StarSUCKER 22nd May 2010 04:30 PM

My answer: :puke

(Just kidding.)

In all honesty, I tried to like Madonna. I really, really did. I just can't bring myself to enjoy her music though. I don't hate her...I just can't get into her for some reason. The only album I like is American Life, though I don't love it.

:shrug

She seems SO desperate for publicity nowadays too...ever since that Britney Spears kiss thing, it's like shes flailing around for attention. I'm glad she still retains some amount of popularity, because I don't think age should be a thing when it comes to musical taste, but Madonna is making it difficult to take her seriously.........

AngelSenshi 22nd May 2010 05:50 PM

Nope; I don't really like her, as a person or as an artist.

Cherry Dynamite 22nd May 2010 06:39 PM

I voted No, I just can't get into most of her stuffs and her shoulders/arms really creeps the hell out of me, but I do like some of her songs like Vogue and Hung Up.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 22nd May 2010 07:03 PM

i love maddie :)

Mirrorcle Monster 22nd May 2010 07:26 PM

Yes

Murderqueen 22nd May 2010 09:27 PM

Not really and I never tried to like her.
It should not depend on age, trufax.
But still this woman is over 50, so PUT ON SOME DAMN CLOTHES,
also I never liked her music, appearance nor personality.

ayufan- 22nd May 2010 10:02 PM

She is GROWSE, just nasty. A woman from that age in undrewear dancing on the stage? That is really nasty, think of her kids. It is not normal in my opinion. so my awnsure in NO i don't like her!

CHE.R.RY 22nd May 2010 11:49 PM

Even though I do like some of Madonna's classics and a few of her newer songs (especially her Ray of Light album), I'm gonna have to say no. I'm not a full-blown fan...plus I really don't like her as a person, personally (and don't start on me with "Oh so you know her and met her blah blah blah..." lol).

rookies 22nd May 2010 11:51 PM

Yeah, I like her, she's got some nice songs.

TITANIC 24th May 2010 02:02 PM

yeah. lover her so much. my first madonna's song was like a prayer

Pieces_of_SEVEN 24th May 2010 06:04 PM

never got into her...

Corvina 28th May 2010 04:49 PM

I love some of her music, but she's a bit suspect for me, so not a clear yes and not a clear no. Great artist, so-so character.

Michan 28th May 2010 09:57 PM

I love madonna I went to her shows *-*. For me the best tour is Confessions *_*

Minttulatte 2nd June 2010 04:15 PM

Madonna is one of the artists I have lately fallen in love with. I really love her voice. It sounds so unique to my years, yet also pretty pleasant. :) I really love her albums Ray of Light, American Life and Confessions on a Dance Floor. Amazing. <3 So yeah, I'd say I do like Madonna a lot. :)

ILoveGeniuses 6th June 2010 10:53 PM

I don't like any of her newer stuff. Mostly the really old stuff I prefer.

Luja. 9th June 2010 09:14 PM

No.
I don't know why, she has a good voice and I even like some of her songs (just a few).
But no, I really don't like her.

pepper 10th June 2010 03:05 AM

Old Madonna = YES!
Madonna Now = NO.

She is NOT a talented singer. Her voice is really really random/casual, but when she was young, her "shocky" carrier was pretty good, the videos was very interesting. Now she is old and ugly and she really tries to be young again. She can't accept the fact that SHE IS NOT SEXY anymore. That's why i don't like her. And the songs are pretty random, i only like Celebration~ It's good to party with. The old songs got very provocative and interesting atmosphere, even the Ray of Light era (Don't tell me, i loved that song lol)

xLitax 10th June 2010 04:56 AM

Not really. She has a few songs I like though.

amorphose 10th June 2010 05:33 AM

No.

I appreciate her immensely as an artist and human being. She's contributed a lot to music and culture... but personally, I don't listen to her. She's not my cup of tea.

ストロボ・EdGE 10th June 2010 06:15 AM

I've been listening to "Don't tell me" a lot recently for some reason.

Mayayu 10th June 2010 03:48 PM

noes... she can sing and she has great music sense but she went the easy way, getting naked and working with fashionable producers.

not talking about the person herself, she's very strong but i can't feel good about her for some reason

When she "went the easy way" it wasn't easy at all honey, nobody was doing that... She even lost a huge amount of her fanbase when released Erotica...

and her producers weren't fashionable before she used them, but they for sure became fashionable after her ;)

Totally agree with most of what you wrote there. I LOVED the old Madonna, the Madonna after Confessions on a Dancefloor it's just... ugh :/

I was a big fan few years ago, even collected some of her cassettes. Most of the time I used to listen to Ray of light, the first album, Erotica and Bedtime Stories albums + all her singles (official and unofficial).

Now I just listen to her old stuff ocassionally.

saintvox 8th July 2010 02:29 AM

I love Madonna.

But let me be blunt. Hard Candy wasn't that great. It wasn't bad really, but it wasn't good. And it was really plain. If she ever gets around to recording another album it better much more orginal, better, I don't know the world. Some of tracks aren't that bad though. And Across the Sky, a demo that wasn't released on the album, was really really good.

Her voice may not be the best, but neither are most people's. I, for one say, I'd rather have a real voice than some fake thing made in the studio.

C+R+E+AYUMI 9th February 2011 11:19 AM

many of the singles, but not her voice at all

SURREAL__RAINBOW 9th February 2011 12:25 PM

she's taking over ayumi for me, ayu is my favorite singer right now but madonna is right behind about to take over xD

channy 9th February 2011 12:54 PM

I never listened to her. I just remember that song "frozen" or something, because the musicvideo was funny.

Chibi-Chan 17th February 2011 10:42 PM

Wooooh, totally took my words!!! I agree. I guess I wasn't around during her age (I'm born -92) and just never found her being... anything. 4 minutes is amazing, but, well, Justin <3<3<3
