All I can say is that Love songs/LOVE again/A ONE are very similar in "atmosphere" in general (lot of soft music and ballads, 2-3 faster hits etc. And her mini's (dont count LOVE and again :P) was rather "mix of everything" so I hope she will stick with that pattern.

as for step by step, i didn't think i was gonna like it when i first heard the preview but now that i am hearing the whole song i really love it! it's so catchy, can't wait to hear the other tracks. we are down to the little over a month before release, so i am excited!

You're not alone. Sixxxxxx is quite interesting. I really like it and I think it's quite unusual for an Ayu title. It's different from A song for xx even if both uses the letter x. I hope she'll give us some hint in an interview about it and how she got this idea.

Funny you mentioned this, cause I love these verses. When the song came out, I read somewhere this counting referred to her first boyfriend (sorry forgot his name), whom she dated for seven years, so that's why there's a zero after the seven.

Im kinda getting that feeling where we dont know much about the release but you know youre on the cusp of recieving new information and are excited.

I want her to WOW me again with the covers. Not something peach, or where she's just had her glam squad work on her. Something surprising, like Duty, H, NEXT LEVEL, FIVE, etc. I like the Terminal and A ONE covers, they're gorgeous, but not too far out of the box.

Hoping for something summer-y at least.

FIVE had a meaning that could be explained quite well. Plus, the font design was pretty neat.
The "weird" thing is the iteration of "X" that we don't know the meaning yet.
And I understand truhappiness who says that "sixxxxxx" is more likely a title for AI Otsuka, Anna Tsuchiya or whatever Jpop female singer. But it doesn't suit Ayu so far. We learn to be used to her new titles, it became a routine.
I bet there's a meaning behind it, or at least, I hope so. Unfortunately, I've learnt to have low expectations about Ayu's releases to be not disappointed.

FIVE, in all capitals, is SO Ayu.

Sixxxxxx is very in line with stylistic choices that Anna and Ai have both made in the past.

The title imo suggests an edgy photoshoot. Ayu, don't go for only pretty this time!

The new description for the mini seems like they abandoned the uptempo thing and want to go for a 'summery' feel for everything and have variety across the five tracks. Wonder if they ditched the RedOne track for now.

I'm interested, but I hope she doesn't get to a point where she's filled her discography with regrettable names, like Matsuda Seiko has. I guess there's this point where, inevitably, you've ran out of common sense names to use (like it was going to happen sooner or later that Ayu named songs MOON, BALLAD, HANABI, etc.) But I hope Ayu doesn't end up with names like Baby's breath or 20th Party or It's Style '95 or LuLu!!. She's gotten close with crap titles like Song 4 u and now sixxxxxx, but let's hope it doesn't get out of hand and end up with something like A BEST 3 ~KAWAIIIIIIIIIIIIII ver.~ and A BALLADS 2 ~Boku wa Super GO!
