That's not a bad thing because they aren't horrible but that's not what I want from this little woman that I started to listen to when her first single was out.
The only new songs I truly like are ATTENTION (It's not outstanding because of the chorus's melody but at this moment of her career this rock song is quite good), Kawaranu Omoi (I know it's quite generic but I like it. Especially when both voices are singing together) and Naki koi (the introduction and the verse are really catchy. I like how the arrangement are progressing during the song)
About the old songs, I only changed my mind about Anata ga Koko ni Ite Dakishimeru Koto ga Dekiru Nara. It's slighty better than what I thought when the single was out. It's a pity that it is too long.

I actually agree about SPLASH being patchwork-like, but I still like it - the parts may be disjointed, but, to borrow your metaphor, the different colours in the patchwork work well together in my eyes. I also agree that this album has too many generic ballads, but at least some of them are good and have things that make them stand out (like the guitar in Kawaranu Omoi and the featuring vocalist in Ai Okuri).

Honestly, I think part of the reason I liked so many of the songs is that my expectations for miwa's music have become really low over the past two years, so it doesn't take much to surprise me positively, lol. I'm happy to have some new songs I feel like going back to, I haven't gotten many of those from miwa during this past era.

mellody 6th March 2017 11:38 AM

I like the new album. Well, compared to previous one, I think this one is better.
But still, Delight is the best for me, followed by the first two albums.

This album is a reminiscent to her past music, the singer-songwriter style kind of music, but it's just bland (but still better than ONENESS content). SPLASH was nice, I don't think it's disjointed, it's more like she made it that way, and somehow it works, also it sounds better when live. The rest of the tracks are kinda forgettable, but if you listen it in order, it sounds better.

The singles are actually nice, again I said, maybe because I listen to it in order, that's why Yozora, Shanranran, and the Anata blah blah blah sounds better than before. The album tracks aren't memorable, but it's just nice to listen this kind of music again from her. One more problem, only 11 tracks.

Bigtop 7th March 2017 04:59 AM

Do we really care about Oricon these days? She only got #5 weekly (and, yes, she gets outsold by AAA once again, even in albums, as they take #1) in a competition that also contains SKE48 (surprisingly why did a 48 group NOT get an album #1?!?!?) and SHINee...and why is HoneyWorks #4???

#1 AAA 107,969
#2 SKE48 99,646
#3 SHINee 68,102
#4 HoneyWorks 33,688
#5 miwa 31,347

I still ask this every time both miwa and AAA release something on the same day and in direct competition: Why is AAA still outselling miwa these days? I do understand one of the two girls in AAA (Ito Chiaki) is going to leave soon, but I still have to wonder why miwa is pretty much always behind AAA when they're matched up head-to-head...

thinkingoutloud89 7th March 2017 06:13 AM

^48 groups don't tend to sell well album-wise ...and where AKB is struggling, it is no wonder that the sub-groups fail

Because AAA is popular as heck? And miwa hasnt had a hit really since yozora. AAA is selling out dome concerts so there is your reason

mellody 13th March 2017 03:44 AM

AAA is really happening recently due to the popularity for each members as far as I remember. Plus, one of the member is leaving? It's making a headline for sure.

Well, for some reason I tend not to believe the Oricon popularity these days. miwa herself is still relevant when I see the music scene. Did anyone watch her in SONGS?

Shiny's pv too. But I don't have any links to stream it. A preview can be listened to on her website. http://www.miwa-web.com/disco/archive/?SRCL-9408

Shiny is shanranran episode 2 for me.

mellody 15th May 2017 03:49 AM

miwa covers never disappoint! (Unless we're talking about ONENESS)

Well, try to look for @morimasa_kuno in Instagram, that account uploads miwa-related video a lot, including Shiny PV and such.

Yoake 21st May 2017 01:07 PM

^Thanks for the hint.

Shiny and Zettai Ano Basho ni are out.

My thought on Shiny didn't change with the full version. However I find it slighty better than Shanranran because of the instrumentation that is more original.

I don't like the b-side.

Not bad, i can see a bit of Hikari e in this song.

Kacku 12th January 2018 09:58 PM

miwa released a new digital single, Live Fast Die Young, earlier this week. It's a pretty nice pop-rock number, one of her better ones in the last few years.

Bigtop 12th January 2018 10:27 PM

^ Now if someone can upload it here on AHS or JPopsuki - because I haven't seen it on JPopsuki yet... Hmm...

And I'm sure if this will end up in a future single or album, it's just when will it happen and what will it be, maybe as a B-side if it's on a single...

Kacku 13th January 2018 12:43 PM

^ I uploaded it, go here.

I can't believe I said this but everything she did recently is really... mediocre :(
Live Fast Die Young was pretty much okay, but it's still pretty average for me.

My Hero Academia? This might be a good stuff.

adantatu2 5th March 2018 03:49 AM

I hope is not a ballad ! Several endings are boring ballads and miwa has tons of them.

Bigtop 8th April 2018 07:29 AM

miwa will be releasing a new single, "Update", on May 9th. This will be the "My Hero Academia" single as mentioned earlier.

In addition, the covers are out:
https://natalie.mu/music/news/276973

But I'm not enthused at the CD+DVD cover:
https://i.imgur.com/mLK8NA0l.jpg

I mean, what in the world is this?

Kacku 8th April 2018 11:26 AM

I really like the CD+DVD cover, I like how colorful and clean it is, and it stands out in miwa's catalogue. Although it did take me a moment to realise it wasn't Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. :laugh I'm not a fan of the weird detachable puffy elbow sleeve though... Anyway, I just hope the songs are good.

adantatu2 9th April 2018 05:38 AM

Definetly she looks better with longer hair, lol.

Yoake 9th April 2018 05:34 PM

Wow That's a surprise. I would never thought that miwa would have a unnatural colour hairstyle one day. I like the CD+DVD cover. The CD edition doesn't look good at all. She looks like a doll or a robot with a wig or something like that.

Edit: Preview

I don't like it.

live fast die young is already out too

Yoake 12th April 2018 08:28 AM

It seems that this new single will be mainly bad to me. One song I don't like, One song that is listenable but forgettable and I don't dare to have high hope for the first b-side.

adantatu2 16th April 2018 02:42 AM

miwa has been like this for a couple of years now.
Her 2 first albums were amazing, now her releases are forgettable. T_T

Yoake 19th May 2018 11:48 AM

As expected the single isn't my thing. Mittsu no Yakusoku has a nice verse but the chorus is kinda boring to me.

I hope the best album'll mark the end of that era and miwa'll bring us a new fresh sound after.

Bigtop 20th May 2018 08:05 AM

miwa misses out of the top ten... (>_<)

#10 - 9,404
#11 (miwa) - 9,242

And based on the initial picture they've given to us regarding miwa's best album...if that's the actual cover, that could be a big turn-off for me.

miwa To Provide Music For Drama Series

miwa will be providing an insert song for the Fuji TV series "Signal: Choki Mikaiketsu Jiken Sosahan".

The singer's new song is titled "Unchained Love". A release date for it has not been determined at this time.

"The song's message is one that says 'I am thinking of you even when we're not close or have any ties'. The song was written from a mature woman's point of view to match the drama's world view," miwa said.

"Signal: Choki Mikaiketsu Jiken Sosahan" began airing on April 10.

She went downhill most likely because of the idol persona.

There were some news about her style as singer-songwriter doesn't appear as a real singer-songwriter, instead, she came out with more idol-like personality. Her collaboration with Momoiro Clover Z maybe has something to do with this, but I'm not sure either.

Also, she's always with NAOKI-T as the arranger since her debut, maybe it's the reason but then again, she always composes her songs by herself so it's her fault as well.

She should switch to another producer or change the music director, perhaps.

Regarding Best Album, well... I'm not sure it will end well for her for this release, since best album is always related to beginning of an end, somehow. Also, miwa clips Vol. 2 will be released along with the best album, what a fraud. I'm waiting for years after buying the Vol. 1 but she's releasing it like... few years late, gurl.

Also also also, she's actually hang out with Sakaguchi Kentaro a lot ever since the movie was released (100kaime no Koi something), and now she's in yet another work for Sakaguchi Kentaro drama, well.. I'm not surprised if they are (or will be) in a relationship.

Bigtop 23rd May 2018 07:28 AM

^ Idol persona??? What??? I'm surprised when I heard about this the first time! That...sounds odd. I don't think miwa and idol persona mixes very well for me!

mellody 24th May 2018 07:50 PM

I forgot the source, but it's taken from short news clip and a short article back in 2016. Maybe Nico Nico? Not sure. (Perhaps Girl's Channel or something like that)

miwa gets criticized in general for being more like an 'idol' instead of a singer-songwriter. She was asked about her upcoming birthday plans and she said, 'take a bath.' Her male fans went crazy online going 'so cute!!!' 'a bath huh~~~' People are annoyed because they think she's appealing to her male fans like an idol would. She also uses a 'cutesy' fake talking voice when she speaks, a lot of the comments say she uses it to appeal to male fans.

Then again it's not confirmed or so, but as far as I remember, she got many female audiences, which clearly can be seen during her concerts. I haven't catch up to her recent ones though, maybe more male fans now? I have no idea.

adantatu2 28th May 2018 02:31 AM

Because I've been watching Boku no Hero Academy, Update (the ending) doesn't seem to be that bad, lol.

Yoake 28th May 2018 06:14 PM

^I'm watching it too but I always skip the ending :laugh

I only follow miwa's music so I can't really judge her behaviour. If she slip in an idol role, I would say that princess single is what gets closer of an idol persona.

Yoake 2nd June 2018 10:44 AM

Unchained Love is out some days ago. Did you listen to it?
I have a mixed feeling about this song. I was pleasantly surprised until the chorus. The deepness of the beginning made me shiver. This song has a good arrangement. Some parts are very unexpected for miwa (violon, "water sound". But the melody(vocal) of the chorus is soooo generic that it drags my enthusiasm down a bit.

mellody 2nd June 2018 06:41 PM

I didn't know about the song and straight out to Google already and what a surprise, it's on Spotify! But still can't play it tho, you know country restriction.

Anyway, this is something fresh her! I like the intro, but as the song is progressing, I also have mixed feelings about it. Most likely because I never expect she did something like this after so many lackluster songs, but it's actually not bad after all.

But it has the same problem, most of her songs are no longer catchy at all.

The song is below by the way.

Spoiler:

Couldn't have said it better. The arrangement is fabulous, but the chorus melody drags the song from great to just good.

Wow, ten more miwa MVs coming to Blu-ray. Can't wait to see it in pure 1080p instead of HDTV-rips (from SSTV, M-ON!).

Any thoughts?

Spoiler:
At least she doesn't have to compete with KAT-TUN's new album "CAST" on the following week (18 July), because if miwa had to compete with them, even if it was a best album, she would be screwed for a #1 Oricon run because she would be competing with a Johnny's artist, and you know what happens when anyone competes with certain Johnny's artists such as KAT-TUN...

(However, she's competing with Daichi Miura and 2PM's Junho (though mini-album, but still), so I'm not putting high hopes on miwa getting #1 with this, which is unfortunate, but oh well.)

Personal thoughts: But I'm kind of at odds of purchasing this. My interested version is the BD version, but it's quite pricey at $70-$75, depending on the fluctuating USD-to-JPY exchange rate, and that doesn't even include the shipping (and I intend to use DHL express shipping, which is costly enough, but I'd use that for such expensive releases like this). Also, I've already got a Leo Ieiri single (scheduled to release on August 1st) on preorder as well, so I may be facing a bit of a budget crunch. It's a little bit risky considering I have yet to buy an actual miwa CD (although it was close in 2015 when I wanted to order the "ONENESS" album until I changed my mind) and that would put me into buying more miwa CDs (because my mind says that once I buy a new CD from an artist, then I'm going to buy future CDs from that artist), which would be costly considering I've already gotten enough artists on my CD buying list (okay, actually Rina Katahira pulled out of Sony Music Artists and Pony Canyon just recently, so I'm not sure if I want to replace Rina Katahira with miwa at the moment). As I mentioned before, I'm in a bit of a budget crunch, but I'm trying to get a job, though, so this could change; however, I'm also aiming to buy some new computer parts as well since I still have the same computer...from the time miwa debuted to the J-pop world back in 2010. And I'm expecting to spend $1500 on new computer parts if I want to upgrade my computer to my specifications, including shipping and tax!

mellody 12th June 2018 10:30 AM

Let me say something about that Limited Edition and Regular Edition covers first:
In my opinion, those are better than ONENESS and We are the light, but still among her releases so far, that's just the worst. The Special Edition was very nice though.

First CD has 14 tracks but the Second one has 17??!? Those new tracks are short, I guess. Unchained Love was okay, hopefully the new track is as good as FRiDAY-MA-MAGiC. Okay, that was random.

This release will decide if miwa will continue her future works or not, because you know, Best Album is always a warning of end of an era. I don't know the rest of the competition release, can you give us whole list of who are releasing albums on that date? (Other than Daichi Miura and 2PM)

PVs in Blu-ray though, yum. Hikari e.

HTMSD 13th June 2018 12:40 AM

Planning to buy the Special limited edition, and quite disappointed with the fact that she didn't include those MVs in the miwa clips vol. 2,

ホイッスル〜君と過ごした日々〜, Kiss you. 君に出会えたから, 360°, 夜空。feat.ハジ→, ONENESS, Princess, 結-ゆい-, シャイニー, SPLASH WORLD, アップデート

yet some newest PV like "We are the light" are included... It'll be a loong-loong time before we'll get Kiss you in actual HD without M-On watermark xD

However, the limited edition cover is nice :3

Bigtop 13th June 2018 06:30 AM

^ Yeah, now I just realized miwa clips vol. 2 doesn't include every MV since the release of vol. 1 (which was a standalone release). Don't know why they would make such a decision like this...

Now I'm not sure if I want to even buy this in the first place.

Bigtop 16th June 2018 01:28 AM

#1 for the first day is Hatsukoi, none can defeat Godtada :rolleyes

Bigtop 12th July 2018 08:33 PM

@HTMSD

miwa had 15,447 on the first day. JUNHO (from 2PM, K-pop group) was #1 with 27,270 (#2 on 7/11 with 5,176).

That being said, the sales numbers have been underwhelming at best. I'm disappointed this is supposed to be miwa's 'best' album and this is missing the mark - by being outperformed by 2PM's JUNHO (making matters worse, 2PM/JUNHO are signed to Epic Records, which is also a Sony label, and is also the same label that Utada is signed to!)...

I was also considering buying hi-res from Recochoku (or mora, which is owned by Sony? But I use Recochoku because I'm more familiar with that), but while the tracklist is the same as the CD (yes, you get every song), I'm not sure if the album is worth the value when the album mainly consists of A-sides, save for three songs at the end (two new songs and a different version of a B-side).

mellody 16th July 2018 07:43 PM

No worse than third, to be sure. But I'd be shocked if UTADA takes #2 weekly!

mellody 17th July 2018 07:36 PM

miwa is not even selling 50k copies for the best album means...

Her fanbase is relatively small, I thought by doing a tour she would be able to reach 100k easily.

Now I'm kinda wondering about her popularity, her state of being as a singer-songwriter, will she survive?

Bigtop 18th July 2018 07:09 AM

JUNHO (#1) sold 40,907.

miwa (#2) 'only' sold 28,949.

Utada (#3) sold 27,997.

I'm not sure if miwa has anything left in her tank, bag of tricks, whatever...I don't know where she fits right now.

The reason why her popularity shot up was because of the guitarissimo album that was #1...but not without the earthquake and tsunami back in 2011 that really shuffled a lot of album releases (including AKB48's, which had to delay further to June instead of April). If it wasn't for that, miwa wouldn't be #1 - and the entire world wouldn't be in a position like this...

Also, not to forget, miwa was left out of the Kouhaku last year (2017).

This. Basically, that's what I'm wondering about.
I thought her post-guitarissimo era is the highest peak of her career, but soon after that, no more. Like I said before, her fanbase is actually relatively small, despite that full audience in Budoukan and any of her tour.

To me, she's not evolving anymore after Delight, even Delight itself is a carbon copy of Hikari e, which sounds like a lazy attempt. Compared to another singer-songwriter, she's stuck so much to the point she's not evolving anymore.

Another reason is that because the CD sales are declining as well.
I don't know if her digital release sells well.

adantatu2 23rd July 2018 03:32 AM

Maybe she is stressed and she doesn't know what do to after all these years.

Yoake 3rd November 2018 03:16 PM

I'm just so not into miwa that I came across her new digital single without knowing she had something on the stove. What surprise me isn't the song (because I haven't listened to it yet) but her haircut! She looks so mature and different. I wonder if title is different from her recent work.

Info

mellody 4th November 2018 08:47 PM

Girl better gives something nice after that haircut, kinda reminds me to YUI when she cut her hair short and release GLORIA, a great song.

I couldn't believe I just comparing them again :laugh

adantatu2 5th November 2018 01:15 AM

If she follows YUI steps, I'll be dead, hahhaha. Meet a guy, date that guy, get pregnant by that guy, get married with that guy, announce a hiatus, return to music with a band.

Kacku 5th November 2018 11:40 PM

Title is a pretty nice song, for me it's up there with Live Fast Die Young in the "perfectly enjoyable but not that memorable" tier. I well and truly hate that it's called "Title" though. :dead2

The new haircut looks really nice on her!

... return to music with a band, and then make the best music of her career and reach new creative highs with the band? Yes, that'd slay me too. ;)

(I don't know if my view of YUI's career is very popular. :laugh)

---

By the way, I don't remember this being mentioned earlier, but miwa's new best album is available on Spotify! It's nice to have her singles available for streaming this way. Also, the new song on the album, Acoustic Story, is a really good pop song, one of her best songs in a while! The title is sooo misleading though, that song has never seen anything acoustic in its life. :laugh

mellody 6th November 2018 07:12 PM

I think I need to hear the new stuff, I didn't even remember she has a new song inside the best album.

I kinda want to see her newest acoustic lives.

Yoake 9th November 2018 09:31 AM

I would say that miwa's career is based on YUI's since the beginning but her cute era.But if Sony is managing her career from her songs to her hairstyle that's excessive. Even if I know there are able to do that. To me that's how they're killing her creativity. Just for sales.

Title is good but I agree with Kacku not memorable. I like the intro a lot though.

I barely remember Acoustic Story. I know that I didn't dislike it but I can't remember its melody.

What I would like is just 1 song that blow me. She released too many songs that are just ok.

mellody 9th November 2018 09:05 PM

Well, it's kinda obvious that her career is based on YUI, but sadly, as she said during her collaboration live, people are comparing them a lot, being overshadowed etc.

Just listened to Title but yeah, still an okay-ish song for me.

At this point, her 3 first singles are still considered her best song to date for me. Even Little girl (that time I'm not really fond of that song) sounds better than any of her recent singles, at least for me. Something unique like FRiDAY-MA-MAGiC will also nice.

I don't know what's the cause of this, but is she still working with NAOKI-T as arranger or co-composing? If yes, perhaps that's the problem.

Yoake 11th November 2018 02:50 PM

To me it's Sony the problem. She isn't the first artist under that label who suffered from that because they're all about money. I'm always desperate about this because they have the nose to find great artists but they destroyed their originality and creativity when they have some success to keep their sales or increase them.

mellody 11th November 2018 08:35 PM

I'm not sure if it's Sony fault though. Marketing-wise, it may be right, but creative control is more to the management of the singers themselves. Then again, miwa is a singer-songwriter, which means she should have a creative decision about her music, but she just stay in her comfort zone, that's what I thought.

Aimer is under Sony (SME), but I think she has one of the best management teams. She's somehow a singer-songwriter as well because she penned some of her lyrics by herself (not sure about music), but I believe she has this creative decision about where her music is going. Just look at her release from the first album until her best albums, she's somehow challenged herself in every release and she did it well. She works with many composers too. While miwa is still working with the same co-composer and arranger over and over again.

The same thing happened to ayu, she doesn't work with Yuta Nakano all the time to give some refreshments.

adantatu2 16th July 2019 07:01 AM

Wow many months without a post. miwa will release her new single "Reboot" on August 14. More details here https://www.tokyohive.com/article/20...ngle-in-a-year
I was expecting some kind of marriage news honestly, lol.

Yoake 16th July 2019 09:36 AM

I think that most of us lost interest. I'm not really enjoying her music nowadays. She released A Red Ray with SUGIZO last month. The song is slightly different from her discography but nothing memorable.

As Reboot will be used as the theme song of a drama my expectations aren't high. :/

adantatu2 22nd July 2019 02:24 AM

I think we can expect a soft ballad :(

Yoake 29th July 2019 01:31 PM

^Wrong guess.

Finally Reboot is a pop-rock song.

I feel like we're back in 2010 with this song. I'm waiting the full track to have a proper view but it surprised me. Especially the bridge after the introduction. The arrangement is surprisingly good.

The covers are out : http://www.generasia.com/wiki/Reboot_(miwa)

They give me a eighties vibe with the plain background. Immediately I thought about Seiko Matsuda's covers when I saw them. I know the look is different but there is a little something...

Bigtop 30th July 2019 07:09 AM

^ Also, did I realize that SMEJ is starting to take out its geoblocks for newer videos July 2019 onwards (including this above, aside from certain existing ones such as some Nogizaka46, Yoneshi Kenzu, and more lately Aimer)? It's a bit long overdue.

Yoake 30th July 2019 09:53 AM

^Personally, I never got any problem to watch Aimer's video on her official YT channel. Regarding miwa's new video it might me because she attended Japan Expo in Paris. So they understood finally that it'll be profitable to open her videos to oversea fans?

Kacku 30th July 2019 10:28 AM

Wow, Reboot actually sounds good! First time in a while that I'm excited for a miwa release.

Speaking of geoblocking, it seems it has been lifted a little with streaming as well. Most of miwa's discography (all of her albums aside from the ballad collection and several singles) are available on Spotify. The release years are often wrong and more than half of the singles are missing, but it's still something. :laugh

Yoake 1st August 2019 07:20 PM

Full pv :

Reboot might not be a hit song, it's better than anything she released the past 5 years.

Kacku 1st August 2019 10:00 PM

^ Agreed!

Bigtop 2nd August 2019 05:41 AM

Streamable mirror if you missed the 24-hour window, because at the time of this posting, you only have less than twelve hours remaining to see the full MV on YouTube (but with no geoblocks!)

adantatu2 5th August 2019 06:08 AM

I'm glad to be wrong with my guess.
Her looks and the song are very good. It reminds me YUI again :D

mellody 8th August 2019 10:09 PM

Holy mother of God, Reboot is something fresh and surprising! I thought she's dead forever :laugh

The PV is available worldwide though and soon it will reach 1 million views. Did Sony fire someone else and got a change of heart? Good news anyway.

Speaking of YUI, I personally thought Reboot has the same energy with It's all too much.

adantatu2 12th August 2019 05:30 AM

You're totally right !!
Damn, I haven't heard YUI's music in years

mellody 1st September 2019 11:54 PM

Nobody posted this one yet, so...

From Livedoor:
Quote:

Singer miwa (29) and Japanese swimmer Olympics gold medalist Hagino Kosuke (25) were reportedly married. She is pregnant and scheduled to give birth in winter. Both met in October 2016 and developed in to serious relationship 2 years ago.
I think this is legit news and... quite unexpected coming from her, but congratulations anyway!

It's already on Arama as well.

Also, Reboot has been viewed more than 2 millions in YouTube.

adantatu2 2nd September 2019 06:30 AM

She is seriously taking YUI steps, lol. Seriously I hope she can be happy with her husband and child.

After her pregnancy I wonder if she is going to take part in a band too.

Bigtop 2nd September 2019 10:34 AM

I hope miwa's marriage doesn't go like how YUI went.

For the time being, congratulations miwa and Kosuke Hagino!

thinkingoutloud89 2nd September 2019 04:41 PM

He is not the prettiest, but he has a damn fine body.

adantatu2 9th September 2019 09:19 AM

^So true, his face is very scary, but his body is pretty nice. And he is four years younger than miwa.

miwa is so petite (1.49m) and he is so tall (1.77 m), I don't want to imagine that scene of both... you know :/

Ryusei 10th September 2019 01:23 AM

I'm really enjoying "Reboot" her best song in years

mellody 14th November 2019 09:42 AM

miwa did a collaboration with SUGIZO (lead guitarist of Luna Sea) and I didn't know about this info before, but the song is an ending theme to Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN: Zenya Akai Suisei. It's on Spotify as well.

Never know about this before but, I like the song! I hope she keeps going with good release in the future.

She will also release another new single Storyteller/Teenage Dream on December 25h. One of them is the opening song for Boruto.
Teenage Dream is also on Spotify now, but... uh, meh.

adantatu2 18th November 2019 02:45 AM

Not a bad collab, I really like this more mature voice

Yoake 26th November 2019 11:41 AM

Yoake 2nd December 2019 11:58 AM

Better than the other song.

Bigtop 3rd January 2020 08:40 AM

It's not just Ayu and Nishino Kana that are making headlines for giving birth...as expected, miwa just gave birth to a new child as well!

Quote:

Great, as much as I'm happy with her... the news didn't reveal the gender. Is it a boy or a girl?

adantatu2 6th January 2020 04:57 AM

Congratz miwa-san !!!
The song is good. I prefer miwa's rock-ish songs than her bubbly and generic ones.

Bigtop 20th March 2020 10:26 AM

It's been over ten years since miwa debuted. Sorry for taking a couple of months, don't know why the lack of activity, but then again, so does miwa (remember she's married!).

So miwa's official website got updated, plus since the last time this thread got updated:
  • New song "Who I am"
  • Music videos in full!!!

adantatu2 23rd March 2020 05:13 AM

^Yep, I read on tokyohive that all of her videos are now available on YouTube, yay !!!

Bigtop 23rd March 2020 07:17 AM

^ Even Arama! Japan picked it up as well.
