What the hell? Now I feel like I should have just got the membership when the 1st lottery happened if there was just going to be a 2nd lottery.

CatGirl 4th April 2017 06:14 PM

Uhhhh, what? Why didn't TA send out any emails about the new deadline or lottery? Weird. I feel bad for the people who wanted to apply and had no idea about this

~angel*ayumi~ 4th April 2017 06:30 PM

This whole Tour announcment is such a mess ><

truehappiness 4th April 2017 06:32 PM

TeamAyu emails sometimes come a bit later so I expect it to go out later today. The way they handle information sometimes is really odd.

AyuCanada 4th April 2017 06:34 PM

April 3rd was a Tuesday... not "Thurseday".. Is that how officially they wrote it?

Aderianu 4th April 2017 06:36 PM

rofl yeah I just copy/paste it from official site

spanishfan 4th April 2017 07:43 PM

In fact, it was Monday xD

Even worst ahah! at least "Thurseday" could sound like Tuesday a little ahah

Got the tickets for Tokyo shows. Seems like this livepocket system immediately charges your credit card if you win the lottery, no chances of backing out if you are paying by card.

!Lawi! 5th April 2017 05:01 AM

I got two tickets for Yokohama! Now I'm looking for a map of the venue to see how I'm placed ahaha! So happy, I'll finally see her!!

God_ayu 5th April 2017 05:08 AM

The reference number is not the seat number right?

I don't think so because it says reserved seat (voucher on the day) . So seems like we won't know until the voucher is picked up what section or seat.

~angel*ayumi~ 5th April 2017 06:44 AM

Yes you will only know your seat on day of concert when you pick up your tickets, at least it was so the years before.

It's not. The blocks in Yoyogi have a letter + number indeed (much like the reference numbers) for instance. For example there is a C3 block and then you get an exact seat number as well. You won't know where your seat is until you collect the ticket at the TA booth.

I got the ticket for both Yoyogi dates! Can't wait. I'll be meeting up with JEWELian so if anyone else is going let us know!!

Chibi-Chan 5th April 2017 09:44 PM

I need to ask this: am I the only one who doesn't care at all about this tour? I'm not excited and she could have announced to not do a tour this year, I would actually be delighted.
Until MADE IN JAPAN (tour) and the recent CDL I always defended her arena tours and how many dancers she had. I discussed this a lot in private with another ahs member and always encouraged her to give HLS a try. Because I still love this tour (not the CDL though) to death. I probably watched it already a 100th time or so. In HLS the dancers actually have a reason to be there, they tell a story. But MADE IN JAPAN was just some recycled performance and the dancers where there for the sake of being there.
I watched the concert together with another ahs member who is also a friend while drinking cocktails. It still was boring as hell.
I excused this as an early best of tour kind of thing, but the CDL really was the worst concert she ever did. I was really ashamed if nearly everything, especially the cutesy section. I can't remember I ever disliked an Ayu concert. MADE IN JAPAN was the first one I found boring from start to finish and the last CDL was the first one I think was just damn fucking bad.
I always wanted to see her live, but I have no passion whatsoever for this new tour and this makes me sad. ;_;

It has to do with how much focus they put on dancers for the DVD version too. Because if you watch the show live, you fill find that you focus 95% of your time on Ayu, I don't even notice the dancers unless they are up there in her face.

Having been to the all the concerts you mentioned above, HLS was my least favourite. Just the Beginning CDL was amazing in person.

I still care about it..

melissalove 6th April 2017 05:27 AM

I care but im not excited. I know it's gonna be the same old songs she's been singing for 10 years now.

truehappiness 6th April 2017 09:00 AM

I'm excited a bit but am expecting it to be very similar to CDL. Will be pleasantly surprised if she doesn't do that though but keeps kanariya/ourselves/whatever else around for all 60+ dates.

njanjayrp 6th April 2017 10:27 AM

I was super excited about it, still am. Hoping it will be different than the CDL though, as the CDL was definitely her worst. I don't need another A BEST LIVE, we've already got that covered. Wouldn't mind her keeping kanariya, talkin' 2 myself, WHATEVER as long as she refrains from singing the old ballads >_>

Chibi-Chan 6th April 2017 12:04 PM

I was soooo excited for this tour - and then I watched the CDL a week ago or so. Every excitement was gone, because I don't think she will change much about the tour.

tokyoxjapanxfan mentioned that on the Social Media thread and I get really excited! I'm expecting fresh things to come with this tour!

oaristos 6th April 2017 01:29 PM

I'm excited for the people who are going to see her live, but I don't expect much from the DVD. I didn't like the CLD at all, and since this tour is probably going to be the same thing... Let's wait and see.

Norrel 6th April 2017 01:31 PM

I can't lie. This will be my first time seeing her in concert, and if it's supposed to be an overview of her career, then I'll be overjoyed if it's all the "same songs", because I'll finally be able to see them live rather than through a screen.

As far as the spectacle or grandiosity of the show itself, I REALLY hope it's something in line with CdM, as I think that was one of better arena tours from the later part of her career. The dancers weren't distractions as much as they felt like a very integral part of the show and its narrative. Similar to how Madonna uses her dancers.

My only concern is her vocals. That Music Station performance didn't instil much confidence in her vocal abilities, and neither did the recent Countdown live performance, but I do think she is trying to create something that her fans will really enjoy, perhaps similar to the CDL show years back where we got SIGNAL and too late.

Only time will tell!

Yoake 6th April 2017 07:13 PM

I'm excited to see what she'll do to fit both concepts and her songs choice too. They are so many possibilities.

CDL has generally been really badly mixed lately so audio has been questionable for it and her TV performances haven't really been great either. If people who attended her lives in the last year are to be believed, her vocals are fine when you actually see her.

Isicio 6th April 2017 07:57 PM

So with the Tour being called Just the beggining 20 there is no new album with the tour title ~again~ I know MADE IN JAPAN was but for CDM and FTLPS no.

Maybe we she won't release a new album this year and wait till 8th April for her 20th Anniversary album release. We can get a 5 months release again starting in november with REAL mini album, ME mini album, We are the Queens ~MADE IN JAPAN Classical~, REAL ME New original album, JUST THE BEGGINNING 20 CDL DVD and JUST THE BEGGINING 20 LIVE TOUR DVD XD

pedronekoi 6th April 2017 08:07 PM

^ Well... She released "A ONE" after CdM Tour was announced so the fact that the tour don't have an "album name" is not an indication that she won't release a new album. If my point make any sense haha

It's funny reading all the critics aout CDL because I really liked CDL this year! I always find the concert so enjoyable and fun to watch and this year it did the same to me. Her vocals are not the best but I don't see a problem with it.

Isicio 7th April 2017 12:51 AM

^ you are right but I will be sad if she will release a new album without the title in the tour. Cirque De Minuit was a good name but Just The Beggining 20 isn't.

EndOfTheWorld 7th April 2017 01:53 AM

I'm still excited for the tour but I also feel extremely nervous for the vocals. I know the stage and costumes will be grand and flashy as they have been.
I can't quite put my finger on it but the Countdown reminded me of Seiko Matsuda's 20th Party. And I'm feeling like this tour could maybe be like that too.:think

I agree... I think this CDL was great and even with her vocals not on point, she was still able to lead a great show with a great choice of songs. Her voice's seen worse (like in CDL 06~07 and that one she sang Pride in a black dress, I don't remember which one was that, but that was the worstttt) and she seemed happy and having fun.

it's just the standard name for most of the entertainment venues in japan, most often used for concerts etc. usually they're city/prefecture-name citizens' centre / cultural centre (市民会館 or 文化会館) or something along those lines. i'm assuming they're state managed. these venues hold on average 1,500~2,000 people.

i wonder if she's going to make it around to all 47 prefectures with this tour?

Not necessarily. Plenty of j-pop artists perform in halls like this all the time. Namie's shows for example are a far cry from classical music, but every time she does a hall tours she's playing at venues like this.

The newly added locations/dates feels more localized than the usual arenas. I think i'm loving this move.

Halls are in now. More shows, better close ups and hopefully in ayus case less dangers. *fingers crossed*:P

EndOfTheWorld 29th April 2017 04:52 AM

It does look like a nice hall. A hall does offer less space for the show but I wouldn't be disappointed seeing Ayu there.

Xianghua 29th April 2017 05:35 AM

I think halls like that have a more intimate feel than the arenas. And if you go to the ones outside the bigger cities, you have a better chance of seats closer to the stage if you buy via fan club.

The Gifu venue is down the road from my old apartment. It's 2 levels and holds a good amount of people, but all seats have a great view of the stage and theres room to jump around and such. :D I think most of the halls listed have a similar layout.

AyuWorld 29th April 2017 06:45 AM

I wonder about the stage, so we will 2 different stages? Bigger and grand for the arena and smaller and simpler for the hall?

Did they announce the ticket sale dates? Please somebody tell me when we can reserve tickets for the second round.

tokyoxjapanxfan 1st May 2017 11:25 PM

^ For general sale or TA?
The TA second round was at the beginning of April.

Oh, or do you mean the new dates? If that's what you mean then no they haven't started reservations for those yet.

EndOfTheWorld 1st May 2017 11:37 PM

I love it. It's huge.:heart
Makes it feel like it's a really big event coming up.

You could get them at one of the Lawson stores if you aren't a TA member or in front of the arena - there are always random people selling them, but also sometimes a ticket counter is open where they sell them at regular prices. There are also reseller shops across Tokyo. I have a middle-man who can purchase the tickets for you online and ship them to Spain. PM me if you want their e-mail!

Zeke. 24th May 2017 06:56 PM

Do we know when the tickets for the second round of dates go on sale yet? They announced the dates a while ago it seems. Weird they haven't opened sales yet?

~angel*ayumi~ 24th May 2017 07:25 PM

All the new announced dates are September and later, that is a plenty of time ahead

Thanks! I registered for TA! So how do I know when I can purchase tickets? What other benefits do TA members get? I registered and I can login, but there doesn't seem to be anything interesting on the website. How do people get those TA messages from Ayu? Thanks :)

You'll get an email announcing the time the lottery opens so you'll have a bit of notice!

On the day you'll generally be able to get a free item by showing your digital membership card. When I went in 2015 I got a coloured ribbon for that date's concert. You can win bigger stuff if you're lucky like an autograph or limited run item. I think the coasters are the freebie this leg of the tour

Thanks! I'm excited :) How do you pick up your tickets? How does the lottery work? How do you get the free item? Like when you show your ticket for entry you also show your digital membership card? Sorry I have so many questions, totally new to TA :)

The coasters are not for TA, they give it to you if you spend at least 6000 yen on goods ^^ iirc the TA booth gift this year is a postcard, but it's first come first served, and since we can usually only get the tickets one hour before the doors open, they can run out of gifts sometimes...

To get the freebie you need to show up at the TA booth and show them your concert ticket and the digital membership card. They don't give the gifts at the entrance to the venue

Oh I didn't know there's a TA booth! Thanks so much! Btw I always see people sharing TA messages on this forum. Where can I find Ayu's message for TA? I don't see anything on the TA website even after I login

TA booth is where you pick up your tickets, too.

Click on the "Life" icon, her blog entries should be there ^^

ayumisrael 13th June 2017 06:57 PM

I want the overseas residents lottery for these dates to start lol.

frayumi 14th June 2017 05:27 PM

Hello everyone,

I really want to go to ayu's concert on 2017.09.06 in Kanagawa: Pacifico Yokohama Great Hall.
I believe that this will be my only chance ever to see ayu.
Unfortunately, I did not register for Team Ayu in time, because I wasn't expecting new dates for this time frame.
Is there anyone who would be willing to attend the lottery for me as well?
Of course I will pay all fees etc.

I would be eternally grateful..

~angel*ayumi~ 15th June 2017 12:21 PM

Ticket lottery will start on 16th June, so tomorrow^^

Is it first come first serve?! I.e. Do you need to apply for lottery right away at the specific time?

Also what normally are three chances of getting tickets? Do I need to apply for more than one day to get tickets in case I wasn't selectes on the draw of my first choice?

Zeke. 15th June 2017 07:21 PM

Is the system different than it has been in the past? I know that apparently you don't get notified of your seats until the day of the show. How is it that in the past tickets were in shops beforehand or being sold online designated as being located in a specific seating area/row?

My main question is this: What do I need to do in order to secure good seats? Last time I purchased from yahoo Japan. If things have changed and they aren't notifying anyone of seats until the day of, do I have to scope out my options on the day of the concert? Regardless of cost, how can I secure the best seats?

Japan resident get their tickets 1-2 weeks before the concert

To secure best seats check Yahoo auctions and reseller shops.

Ok thanks! For AT08 I bought tickets months in advance on yahoo Japan auctions and it had a chart designating where the seats would be located, but this time around I suppose I will look harder when the date gets closer.

I'm confused about the second chapter lottery. Since i'm planning to attend the 10.18 date here in Gifu, and they're starting the lottery for the first Yokohama date which has just been added (correct me if i'm wrong). Was there already a lottery for the other dates? I'm struggling to keep up with this tour honestlt lol

I think they are starting the lottery for the entirety of the second chapter dates.
