In her newest Instagram post she says that from the CDL onwards the setlist and members will change for the tour and the Kyoto dates are the last dates of "chapter 1".

Wow, totally didn't expect live broadcast. I hope someone records it or rips from the site since the show will be available to watch for free for 24 hours after the broadcast.
Update: I just checked random recent broadcast which is available for free now (https://abema.tv/video/episode/90-1202_s1_p1) and was able to stream it using Japanese proxy.
To sum it up it seems the live stream will be free and you can rewatch the show for free within 24 hours (as long you're in Japan or using Japanese proxy).

Watching Via Japan proxy does work, but only for the AbemaTV website, not the app on mobile or tablet as far as I was able to test.

No, it's not free. The normal TV site is free, but if you want to watch the live broadcast, you have to pay for the deluxe version. But you can indeed watch it for free for 24 hours after the live broadcast has ended.

I see. They don't mention that on broadcast page. Moreover, they attached the word "free" to the promo pic. Weird.
They offer 1 month free trial for users who sign up for the first time for premium plan (and you can cancel anytime). I don't know if they accept foreign cards though.

Update: Are you sure the broadcast will not be free? I searched the Internet and failed to find any confirmation that you have to upgrade to Abema Premium to be able to watch "AbemaDELUXE" channel.

^oh I'm sorry! When I looked into it I confused Deluxe with Premium and thought it would be one and the same.

^ I read the guide links posted and it seems like with the basic plan you can watch any video after the broadcast ended. None of the channels are restricted to paid only, but I think you can watch live broadcast only with the premium plan. Also they mention you can download videos from the website. I'm not 100% sure as it's a bit confusing, but this is what I understand based on the above links

If you're a premium member you can rewatch any program after its broadcast out of those programs which are available for a rewatch. Free users can rewatch only those finished broadcasts which are marked as free out of those programs which are available for a rewatch.
All of their channels are live broadcasts and you can select and watch any of those channels streams for free (with Japanese proxy if you're not in Japan). Since they state there are no paid channels, there shouldn't be any restrictions with "AbemaDELUXE" channel's live stream where Ayu's show is gonna be broadcast either. As far as I understand it's called deluxe not because it's a premium channel, but because it's channel that pops up only on a special occasions.
As for downloading videos, it's only for premium users and mostly to save traffic of smartphones and tablets by downloading in wi-fi area. It seems that the videos are protected, decrypted and have an expiration date anyway, so it's not like you can really save them for yourself or copy and share unfortunately.

Thanks for clarifying. I got that the downloading was only for premium but I missed the bit about the time limit (I guess it’s like an iTunes rent video?) The fine print was a bit confusing about what is available in terms of live vs post-broadcast availability, but there’s really only one way to find out if the CDL will be free live stream...I’ve set a reminder for myself to see if I can watch it live, so here’s hoping!

I've installed Hoxx VPN Proxy extension to my firefox, then chose Japanese and, at least now, I am able to browse videos on Abema TV website. I am using a free option and it's stated it can be slower compared to premium plans so no guarantee for a smooth picture but I suppose it is sth. I just hope it's that simple.

You will probably need to pay for one. Free proxys often only allow like 500 MB of traffic or so and are also often waaaaaay to slow. Personally I don't want to sit there and then have a shitty video or no connection at all and rather pay for a proxy that works, but you could of course also try a free one, if it's not that important to you. I use Tunnel Bear, for example. If you're looking for a proxy because you want your privacy secured, Tunnel Bear isn't the best choice, but it works fine for me when I want to watch Japanese programmes and it's cute. lol If I remember right Tunnel Bear costs like 10$ or so per month but you can cancel anytime. I only pay when I need it and cancel afterwards.

I use NordVPN. It’s a paid service but it’s easy to use and works well. It’s also supposed to be good for privacy. I tested it out and it works for AbemaTV website (on computer) but not the AbemaTV app on mobile or iPad. I got a long term deal plan with nordvpn so it costs me very little per month, but I think you can get shorter.

Maybe the chrome extension Hola is still around? I used to use that in Japan to watch Netflix before they were available over there and I could stream no problem.
