I was debating as to whether get A Ballads 2 or not and. it is silly but hearing this song got me hyped and made me purchase the Ballads album :p

I'm happy that shes more active these days, I can see that she's raising the bar for herself in several aspects.
It would be good if Ayu would get a professional vocal coach and work with that person on a very regular basis for a few months. A singer has never learned out, also it's very easy to fall back as a singer. The voice is in a different condition everyday if you don't do the right exercise at the right moment/condition its not gonna help, so it's always good to have an outside standing person/professional hear out and listen to what the vocals need right now. With a quality coach (maybe like Seth Riggs) it would only bring her forward. |

Actually I quite like the title of the song. Reminds me of the novel, The Minds of Billy Milligan, where there are 24 personalities in the protagonist.

This song is AMAZING, I'm super glad about its release, I was really expecting a key change at the last chorus of the song xD, but I'm happy that Ayu is chosing to sing in a way that is more confortable for her nowadays!

It's ok. But what's the problem with her voice ? I noticed this on haru yo koi and it bugged me but ... at times it sounds like she is singing with a potatoe in her mouth. I don't know how ti say this but it's weird and annoying.

The song is great! I feel like it was made by the same duo who did it as H/\L for talkin' 2 myself. Sounds as if she asked them specifically to recreate that kind of sound for this track but they're no longer under the H/\L name.

It's first day has been a Thursdays, and in case of Spotify new releases are most of times shared on Fridays. So, hopefully, the song will get a boost this weekend.
However for a "random drop" without any promo or hype beforehand, I think it does well. That being said, I like 23rd Monster, but it is so... noisy. My ADHD kicks in whenever I listen to the chorus. |

The verses are really the winner here. The prechorus is heavenly! Production isn't Golden era Ayu standards but the production and melody is her best song in years easily. The song would fit right in between identity, Rule and Love n Hate on Next Level. Revisted Dreamed a dreamed and it blows that out of the water!

Where has THIS Ayu been all these damn years??? It’s been a decade. My God, so she still has it in her. This song actually sounds like something with thought, effort, and artistic vision behind it rather than the dross she’s been lazily churning out. Might actually purchase the next album.
Don’t really get the complaints about the quality of production/sound/mixing. The song sounds fine with a decent set of headphones. Her change of voice is a natural evolution. |

I like Timmy. He helped Ayu shaped her to who she is today. He produced many masterpieces like "Brilliante", "You are the only one" etc. I still play those songs today.

Unfortunately, I think those two songs are some of the worst in her discography. Personally, all the Timmy songs are unlistenable. The gratuitous orchestral flourishes, the unnecessary background choruses. To top it all off, Survivor is in the running for worst Ayu song by far.

Justice for ANGEL'S SONG, not sure why that gets so much hate... but it's a sweeter Ayu at her most pure! Like I still listen to it as fondly as I did waiting for the song to come out like 18 years ago, lol. I feel disappointed that it's treated as trash in the fandom when it's got such a joyful message to it.. on top of that, it was altered from a darker feel from the original version which I think was needed to brighten up Memorial address overall!

I think Timmy brought some very interesting changes in Ayu's discography.
BRILLANTE, the next LOVE and Eyes Smoke Magic were very welcome and brought some fresh air to what she was doing since then. But BRILLANTE, man, this track gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. |
Timmy leveled up her music career. Some can disagree, or either dislike what he has done for her discography. There is good stuff, there is stuff that question his/her taste in quality, but that is beside the point. But basically calling Timmy out and blaming him for using Ayu is really bold. And not delicious.

He always got the blame for stuff that were ultimatelly Ayu's decisions, and that is annoying as fuck. Ayu is the boss and she is the one calling the shots. Even if Timmy sugested those stuff (what I doubt for a lot of it, like his outfits), she still is the one responsable for aproving those.

The Oricon chart position is usually quite close to the Billboard one, so if all things go well, she will reach the top 30 on the Oricon Digital Single Songs chart. EDIT: Just saw it reached #29 on Oricon with 3,236 downloads! |

I am pretty sure ANGEL'S SONG was the lowest for me lmao I can't separate it from a cringey PV... Timmy did a lot of songs I really love like BRILLANTE, ESM, HBYA. I quite enjoy Survivor as well. Honestly wish that The World Ends With You anime had picked up 23rd Monster for their replacement OP song. The more I listen to this song it could fit an anime really well and the themes of TWEWY would kind of fit the lyrics as well. Missed opportunity :( |
