Nessa 4th December 2004 04:05 AM

You know, for how much you pay for these calendars, you should get a picture for every month.

Blasterion 4th December 2004 04:12 AM

ooh yes, thank you so much for the pics, love em,
now I really need to get this calender :D

Rebirthia 4th December 2004 12:23 PM

Ok, ok…. I reconsider my opinion on the 2005 calendar…

It could have benn good just if…

Imagine a calendar in which all the pics follow the same technique (it seems this is impossible with ayu’s calendars) so in this case, the caledar seems to show one theme, that of a ROAD MOVIE, she in a car, she is a road café/bar/petrol station. Well, that’s quite good, but she is clearly posing for the pic, imagine she did not pose, and the pic is just like caught in te act… we would have a wonderful calendar made of film stills of this imaginary road movie , or well, we could have film stils of different sorts, but, at least, following the same technique.

For those who do not know what a film stil is, it is a photograph that seems to be a photogram of a a film, like a capture of a film,. I discovered that technique last year in literary creation (yes, I know this does not have too much to do with it but I have a teacher very original) , we had to write a story inspired by a film stil, in this case, by a famous photographer, Claire) smth (oh! ****! I have been looking for the name and found the paer but no name!!!!!) she appears in the film stils featurong different stereotypes in different situations… she even dresses like a man that is disguised like awooman (something quites strange)

Well, I will shut up , and thank you for reading all these!!! What do you think , btw???

CREATE 4th December 2004 12:50 PM

hmmm
the may-june page looks better

Bunny 4th December 2004 01:52 PM

I was peed off when mine arived this morning. I thought there'd be a pic for every month :grumpy I've never had an ayu callender before (seen as im a new fan) Do they usually put two months to each pic/page? what a rip!

It's been noted for so long.. don't tell me you didn't read the product description when you order it.

Surreal 5th December 2004 07:24 AM

Anybody has the initial small pictures (2 of them) of this calendar that was posted a few months back? Because the poses and expressions are different and I would like to have them. Thanks~

ayumi_dze 5th December 2004 02:20 PM

I have all the kalender pictures with a very big size but I don't know how to attach the pictures here! I haven't figured it out yet. Can someone tell me how to do it??

Taishaku 6th December 2004 02:36 AM

The description was in japanese :-S

thejadedangel 6th December 2004 06:30 PM

Squeee...Now I want to own it now! I'll probably ask my friend to buy it for me from Japan! SWEET!

Ps. Yea, I first thought it was a ripoff, but most calenders for jpop is HUGE so consider it as having like...7 or 3/1/2 posters...How big are the posters anyways? in inches...

hunnie_haiyen 6th December 2004 09:34 PM

wow the front page looks colorfull n nice =P

CT_Cool 7th December 2004 06:00 PM

Miss this thread, wow the ayu look great. Thanks for the scan :)

//hikari 7th December 2004 06:06 PM

I'm thankful for the scans.

Though I think the tags are stupid and annoying no matter their size.

Just make it so the person can't direct link them anywhere, its easy.

It's also easy to edit the image so the tags are taken out .. so its pointless to do them in the first place.

I hope when they look back on it in thirty years they can say "Yep .. I'm proud I kept people from using those Ayumi Hamasaki pictures because of my great tags."

pfft lol

uhh.. they make the effort of getting their hands on it, scan it, and upload them to begin the sharing, a little watermark/tag to keep credits where it is due is not too much to ask for. I will always name my source of the images that I get, but you never be sure that some others out there will also do the same.

Yes you are right on the technical side that they can block hotlinking and watermarks can be remove if you understand the algorithmic used. But something is better than nothing at all. And most hotlinks don't understand these things in the first place.

//hikari 7th December 2004 06:40 PM

yes yes I get that ... but at the same time .. to tag/watermark is in the end a pointless process ... I will show you proof as to how easy it is to remove it anyway ..

I've taken a full magazine cover of Ayu from 2002 and removed every bit of font from it ... even the title and stories featured on it ... you can't even tell .. you'd think it were the regular picture .. I will post the picture as soon as I can .. my computer is still packed away since I just moved and I'm using my friends ... maybe someone I sent it to can upload it for me .. Chuck?

Do you get what I mean though?

Its just pointless because people are able to do it and eventually they will and will also take credit for the scan .. and then net drama starts lol

tetsuo69 7th December 2004 07:56 PM

here a pic of my calendar next to my naruto scroll :luv2 :D
