@immel

Hmm.. I would still say that Finnair is the cheapest :o
Straight flight from Helsinki - Tokyo and back is 690€
which I find the most cheapest am I right?

@evolution7931

I'm going to the AT07 or atleast trying to and I'm doing whatever I can to raise money. If I don't get tickets or the dates won't match I'm still going to Tokyo, I just gotta wish I can make it to the concert/s.

i do think that people in england have it cheaper, one of my friends who lives there told me about it.
and i do believe that the closer you live to tokyo, the cheaper it is.since it takes less time and thus less gas for the plane to get there.

oh yeah,i forgot to say....those are the cheapest fares.if you take something like first class, you'll have to pay around 5000 CDN!!!

btw,where are you from evolution?

I'm from Nova Scotia... ._.
Okay, I just gave myself a complete financial evaluation. If I went and spent a week in Japan, I would be able to afford it, with a $1900 surplus, for spending money or just whatever I want. But the catch is, I'd have to go alone...

I don't know if I'd want to go alone. So I calculated if I'd be able to take a friend with me. If I take a friend with me, it would be possible, but I would have a debt of about $710.

Wow... this is more possible than I imagined. I'm surprised, and glad! I'm sure my friend would want to come with me, and would be more than happy to pay the debt, considering I'd be covering the expenses for her to come with me... :D :D :D yay.

(don't ask me why I just posted all this financial crap on here, I'm just excited XD)

I guess it is, there's no direct flights from Sthlm - Tokyo, I got to fly to London first :(.

ayu1m 9th August 2006 08:05 AM

Wouldn't it be cheaper if you'd fly first to Helsinki and from there to Tokyo.
It's more shorter to go to Hel rather than to London :o ?

Shiva 14th August 2006 12:31 AM

my cousin told me about something.if i would fly around the other way, towards the west instead,it would probably be cheaper.
which is what i'm gonna investigate.by making an escale to vancouver and heading to tokyo from there i could save loads i bet.....hopefully.

well when I do searches for flights on air canada's website they're always like that.. they always put me into vancouver and then tokyo, or into somewhere in the USA and then into Tokyo... and it's still like $2000. but I've seen some that went for only $1700.. I guess it's a help. Just look through Air Canada's website and Yahoo Canada Travel. They also check through several airlines so its kind of easy to get a cheaper flight, but not cheaper than those dates on Air Canada's website that are specifically for cheaper tickets. Just browse through everything!

Shiva 14th August 2006 09:44 PM

1700$ is already 700$ cheaper,which helps loads.thanks for the info,i'll keep searching.

emi♡ 19th August 2006 10:54 AM

you so BETTER go to CDL this year...this...what you are doing....it's ridiculous.

I'm sorry....but I just don't like the reason why...

Hey your from quebec right? The best way for you to travel to japan is going to toronto/vancouver then straight to tokyo..already from toronto to tokyo is like 12 hours and it will be a tiring flight...too many transfers will make it difficult and longer for your flight..The best way to get cheap tickets for japan is booking in advance with a japanese travel agency like H.I.S..i got my tickets for toronto to tokyo only for $1,400 CDN since i got it 4 months in advance and i went in august which makes a bit more expensive..Try not to go going the summer or around christmas time..or golden week..and try to visit japan in off-peak season time! I'm sure ayu would have a concert around that time! I hope this will help you! I'm planning to see ayu arena 08 tour lol! 10th year anniversary!!! Whether it will be in nagoya or tokyo!!..However i have to find someone to go with..i really want to go with an ayumi fan but i don't really know any!!!

I suggest a-nation to only fans who are fans of other avex artists like me..like boa, kuu, ai-chan, TRF, interesting guest artists, etc..but if you only like ayumi then forget it..but its worth the ticket since the concert is soo long compared to ayu's arena tour!!:love

Shiva 2nd September 2006 01:18 AM

you serious? thanks a lot for your information kawaii.
i need to know where to look for concert dates, whether it bed ayu,a-nation or anything to do with other avex artists.
i started saving this month, with 250$ in the account right now.i thought it would be around august so i think i have at least 10 months.

but 1400 is much cheaper than i thought really.
as for the 2008 tour(that is what you meant right?) i might go too lol.
i'm thinking of doing a-nation 2007 and another concert maybe.might change my mind on a-nation though, but i dunno for sure yet.
so any ideas of sites which i should check for gathering information?

SurrealAyumi 9th September 2006 08:34 PM

Hi!
I am planning to go to japan next year, this thread has really inspired me to go see ayu. Does anyone know where i can find cheap plane tickets from the us to japan? and is it better to buy the arena tour 07 tickets in a ticket reseller shop? immel-thanks for your link to this thread on ayunite.net, i already applyed for the hostel hotels membership card, but i went to the website for the Yoyogi Youth Hostel and it somehow said that there isnt any rooms avaliable for next year during the spring/summer, i was trying to make advanced reservations, oh and i have an important question are 15 yr olds allowed to go to a concert in japan by themselves, my aunt and sisters wouldnt like to go to ayumi's concert so im going by myself.:)

oro77 9th September 2006 11:06 PM

I think it shouldn't be a problem to go by yourself.

Can someone make a new post or topic for CDL ? So many people are interested by AT07 but the event coming before that is CDL right ? Still no date for the sales of tickets ?

Corybobory 10th September 2006 02:17 AM

SurrealAyumi, I believe the hostel only makes reservations online for a couple months in advance, so I'm sure it's not actually booked up. I stayed there as well and really liked it :) It wasn't as nice as some other hostels, but I liked that the rooms were private and it had a really good location :)

Yes CDL does come before AT07. I assume the concert dates are December 30-31 unless they change things around; usually tickets will go on sale in November (somewhere middle to end of that month).

Thank you, it's VERY helpful.

AngieChan 22nd September 2006 11:08 PM

wow..
great guide.. BIG thumbs up for all these!! :D

i have a Q... how long did the concert go for? what time did u get back to hotel?

i wish i can do something like this....... plus i wanna go to Chihiro Onitsuka concert too!!

immel 23rd September 2006 09:14 AM

The concert lasted for a little over two hours, it's about as long as the AT2k5 DVD, the performances I was to was a bit shorter than the final performance as it had BLUE BIRD as an extra number.

It started at 18:30 one day, well, Are You Wake Up? started playing around that time, a bit later I think... so, say it started around 19:00, then the concert lasted for for two hours, so I got out of there around 21:20 then I ate some yakisoba just outside the arena and went back to the hotel, which is about a 10 minute walk... so I got back at around 22:20 I think. I went out later again.

The second day the concert started earlier, 17.00 so well, got out of the arena an hour and a half earlier... although I think the MC was maybe a bit longer. After the show I went to an Internet café in order to write to some people and post here about the cams I made, hehe. I think I got back to the hostel at around midnight.

Shiva 1st October 2006 09:20 PM

ok.so about that yoyogi hostel, what are the criterias for getting membership?
i'm gonna stop my laziness and start checking things seriously,so i wanted to know.

immel 1st October 2006 09:24 PM

This is the page you need to go to: http://www.hihostels.com/web/membership.en.htm.

The link in the first post has turned obsolete since hihostels.com updated their page, I noticed it now and updated it. All the information you need is on that page.

Actually, I checked up the direct link for where you can become a member in Canada, here is is:
http://www.hihostels.ca/en/membership.aspx?sortcode=2.2

The good thing is that this is an international organisation, you can become a member in any country and it will work all over the world :).

Shiva 1st October 2006 10:39 PM

yeah,I'm reading on it now.it seems i will have to prepare for quite a few things.insurance, membership and maybe things like a guide.well at least i have easily a few months to do this.but that hotel does seem to be as good as you say, even food is covered ^^ that's one thing i'm worried about.

ayu1m 1st October 2006 10:43 PM

Umm.. thanks immel for the link..

Shiva 1st October 2006 11:02 PM

well i checked for a plane ticket around june,1400 CDN.estimated concert ticket at 130(example) and 200 for one week hostel stay,i have about 760 left if i have 2500 saved by then.the tricky part is how much i'll spend once i'm in japan haha!! but it seems fairly accessible for a trip ^^

danw2k4 27th November 2006 09:42 AM

you went immel because you have too much money, bastard.

immel 27th November 2006 11:04 AM

Yes, and the too much money then equaled zero money :(.

adpoyao 1st December 2006 01:34 AM

immel, i was wondering how you brought money to japan? I don't think they'll take foreign contry's money such as EUR or USD. Did you have to go to a bank to convert your money to yen first, or did you simply used a credit card?

I'm asking because I am really hyped up for my first 2007 Ayumi concert!

immel 1st December 2006 11:19 AM

I used a credit card, be careful though, not many credit cards work over in Japan.

I also exchanged some money into Yen before I went, so as to have some pocket money.

oro77 2nd December 2006 06:30 PM

You can also exchange money in Japan.
Or get cash from your credit card before shopping or going out.

immel 2nd December 2006 06:31 PM

Yeah. I brought my credit card there, but I always withdrew money from my account to have in my pocket for going out.

Don't rely on paying with your CC when you're shopping or eating in Tokyo, unless you're going to the more expensive places.

oro77 18th December 2006 11:47 AM

I have a question about the yoyogi stadium.
Has someone been in the middle of the yoyogi stadium(not in south or north part)

http://img167.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/u...815a2-1920.jpg

I want to know if these places are much better for the view because they are so expensive in the auctions.
I mean other people in front may interfer the view.
The places in south and north are further but we can see the whole stage without problem.

ayu1m 18th December 2006 04:28 PM

Well now my trip to Tokyo has been confirmed. I bought the flight tickets ^^

I'm going in may so hopefully Ayu has a concert in Tokyo/Japan at that time, although I highly doubt it T__T'

Damn Asian tour....

Yes a bit short
I think the last AT was at the beginning of June. With the Asia Tour, it may be July this year. Too bad for you.

Well, depends on if you want to be straight in front of the scene, or sit way to the left or right of it...

It's all up to your own preference, some people think you get a better view from the elevated positions while others totally prefer the arena ones. I don't know, I've only been standing in the arena. I must say I was completely satisfied with my seats, though.

It's up to you, if you'll ever get the chance to go to more than one performance, try different positions and see for yourself, it's only you yourself who can judge what you prefer.

I thought her AT would be from March till June???

oro77 31st December 2006 06:27 PM

I just wanted to say I am happy to be alive, it was the first time being to a Countdown concert.

I had ticket for 18000 yen, quite expensive becquse the seat was in the center, but far from Ayu (D6). Still I am much more closer than before (arena seats) but the view is a bit worst because we cannot see the whole stage except if you are very tall (my height is 171cm, normal japanese height but I am not japanese)

My seat was quite good, the person in front of me was small and Iwas at the complete right, nobody to interfere my parapara of Trauma. But I still don t knoz the independent one, shame on me....

Concerning the goods, there are very nice. I love the new logo, reminds me the great MY STORY logo.
I bought the sticker (no uchiwa as expected), the wirst band, the calendar with my first ayu pan inside, key holder (don t know the name in proper english sorry.)

Maybe there are some spoilers.

The concert was great but not perfect.
The sound (at least from my seat) was sometimes horrible, especiqlly for Beautiful Fighters, the instruments wew kind of messed up ans Ayu voice were barely heard, I think it is not because of Ayu or musicians but people who manage the sound (don t know the name)

About the performance, I noticed at first some same costumes than Arena tour 2003 for ourselves but with better colors (not pink but darker colors)
and same performance for A Song for XX than the Arena Tour 2002.
I would have prefered something new.

But I really love the evolution performance ans the foloowing songs (forgot which ones) I just love the costume. Maybe I am wrong but at the beginnning of the concert(before encore), Ayu seems very active, a lot of moves and dances. Pretty cool (especially evolution)

About the tracklist, I hoped to see GAME, Moments , INSPIRE, STEP you, but none of them, too bad.

I don t have photos of goods stands, did not bring my camera and my mobile does not have one. Too bad.

(I just stopped this post, I saw Ayu performing 1 LOVE in CDL, I wondered how she can still be so energic, really great !!)

The biggest surprise for me was until that Day... after the great ola lol.
Very good but Ayu missed some "lalala" I love (she sang the "lalalla" ans "uh uh" better in the album)

I forgot to say so many things, sorry.

Last thing, HAPPY NEW YEAR from Japan.
あけましておめでとうございます!!

(I don t really know where to post that, I am in a manga cafe so internet is not free, not a lot of time to search. sorry for the inconvenience. )

SunshineSlayer 1st January 2007 11:04 AM

Ah, so there were 2 AHSers at the show! I don't remember hearing any sound problems in Beautiful Fighters, so it may have just been where you were sitting. Where did you get your tickets? Because 18,000 yen is actually fairly cheap for a CDL performance even if they were tickets that are far back.

Anyways, I have a another reseller shop for immel to add to the list. It's called Ticket World (written in katakana) and is located in Shinjuku. It's hard for me to say exactly where as Shinjuku is crazy, but it's down one of the main streets after exiting the Shinjuku metro station and is on the right hand side of the road. It's smaller than the Harajuku and Ueno ones and was extremely crowded when I went. (this was the night of the 30th and everyone was trying to get Ayu tickets at the last minute.)

immel 1st January 2007 05:36 PM

Thanks for the additional information Sunny, and thanks for the story oro77, it's awesome to see AHSers going to Ayu live performances :).

Happy new year.

Hatix 2nd January 2007 10:17 PM

Great story oro77 and nice info SunshineSlayer.
Are you sure it's in Shinjuku? Because Tokyo metro station is located near Ginza in Chuo-ku. Or Did you mean (huge) Shinjuku Station?

You can exchange euro and dollars (and some other major currencies) at the airport, right after you passed customs. Same goes for when you go back home, left over (paper) money can be exchanged back. (and I must the say, the assistant there, was extremely friendly & helpful :)) I actually had enough cash money with me last time, so I didn't need to use my credit card. But I think you can go and withdraw money at a bank or post office.

Yes, I meant the Shinjuku metro station.

JinHamasaki 10th January 2007 05:31 AM

Thanks for all the information.

I'm thinking of arriving in Tokyo, Japan on the morning of March 10th...I'm trying to get 4 tickets for the Saitama Show. Can you actually get 4 tickets next to each other?

btw im planning on using this awesome deal:

http://www.iace-usa.com/scripts/IACE...ail.xsl&LAN=US

Hatix 10th January 2007 09:12 AM

That's a very good deal, I had about 1000euro (that's about 1200$) for the same thing, I had 6 nights. But it looks nice.
I haven't planned my hotels yet, I'm still researching for my other cities in Japan to visit (Kyoto, Osaka, Himeji, maybe some others too, and of course Tokyo, for going to the Yokohama concert).

I would say that is almost impossible. It's quite easy to find tickets sold in pairs, but I never saw 3 or 4 together. Your best bet, like always, would be the auction pages. I hope you manage to get them, if not you can always try to find 4 tickets from the same block, so that you'll be somewhat close to each other at least.

oro77 11th January 2007 07:19 AM

As immel said, it will be very hard. Even in auctions, most of the time, it is a pair of tickets but 4 is too much !:no

JinHamasaki 15th January 2007 06:58 AM

I got an inquiry for 4 tickets to the Saitama show:

The item in your inquiry:
1.Ticket: Ayumi Hamasaki 3/11 at Saitama Super Arena
http://ap0.pia.co.jp/pia/et/onsale/o...&P_CODE=250308
Price: 7800 yen (tax included)

Release date: February 3 2007
*Domestic shipping cost(shop to our office): 600 yen
Pia online ticket service charge: 210x4 840 yen
http://t.pia.co.jp/info/about_pia_mail_order_law.html

Estimate (PayPal)
1.ticket (qty:4) 31200 yen
------------------------------
sub total 31200 yen
domestic shipping 1440 yen
international shipping ? yen*
handling 7000 yen http://www.akibado.com/personalimport.html#handling
------------------------------
total 39640 yen
PayPal fee 1546 yen**
------------------------------
payment 41186 yen (excluding international shipping)

Note: 1 US dollar = 117.67 yen (Jan 12 2007)

Is it really cheaper when I arrive in Japan? 350 for four tickets doesn't seem bad to me at all...

ayu1m 15th January 2007 12:06 PM

JinHamasaki what middlehand service did you use for the tickets?

immel 15th January 2007 01:15 PM

JinHamasaki, you're ordering the tickets before they are released and you don't know where your seats will be, but you'll get 4 beside each other. The ticket buying guide that I have is for when the tickets is already released and you know which seats you get when you buy them.

Ordering now, before they are released, is the best thing you can do, pretty much. 10,000 yen each is quite good prices. To order now is more or less also the only way to get 4 seats beside each other.

@ayu1m - a link in his post is hinting on that it's akibado.com he's using.

~angel*ayumi~ 17th January 2007 08:31 PM

As I´m starting to look for tickets on Yahoo...

Is the Block Letters always the same? So Block A1 is always front block and B1 the one behind?
Because I want B1-Block Tickets and I want to be sure that they are not counting from behind or something xD
And sometimes there are numbers in the description and no letters for the block... I´m a lil confused at the moment xD

So how can I see were the seat is from the descripion or ticket photo?

~angel*ayumi~ 19th January 2007 09:37 AM

Please anyone? :(
It´s very important for me...

emi♡ 19th January 2007 09:56 AM

martin won't be here for a couple of days...

perhaps the site has a diagram of the seating?

Lumix 20th January 2007 10:03 AM

~angel*ayumi~, you are correct, B1 is right behind A1. I don't see why you'd want B1 tickets, it's SO MUCH to the left, I was in B2 front row, and I thought that was totally too much to the left, even if it was pretty close to the stage. Cheaper that way though...

From immel (too comfortable to sign on my own account).

Hatix 22nd January 2007 10:15 PM

Be careful: Akibado can be slow...

They may respond quick to you for the bidding, but it takes a while before they know how much the shipping is and they send it. But as they are just tickets, it might be quicker, as they probably don't have to go to the post office to measure/weight the item.

immel 23rd January 2007 02:20 PM

For people aiming at buying tickets from a Japanese auction page, such as yahoo auctions, I just got to know about two other pages that you can use.

http://celga.com. A page like akibado, but according to someone I know this place seems a lot more effective, with very nice staff and quick replies to email.

http://rinkya.com. Another page which I know that people have been using with satisfaction, I heard they are a little more expensive than celga.com but they are also a bigger service.

They seem very helpful to me so far. I emailed them asking if they could ask a seller some questions and they have done :)

immel 23rd January 2007 08:53 PM

That's great to know. I'm glad whenever anyone post about their experiences in this thread, because it will make it easier for other people in the future.

Well, I think I have found the right tickets for me. A seller is selling 4 individual tickets, which I think are in sequential order, just waiting for confirmation on that. So, I can buy just the 3 I need.

The seats are C3, which I would say are average.

JinHamasaki 25th January 2007 06:22 AM

I found tickets on yahoo japan:

http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h48373863

Are they in the A6 Section?

Yep. I expect them for go for quite a bit.

immel 25th January 2007 03:14 PM

Indeed section A6, which is way off to the right. Like kel64 said they'll most likely go for a whole lot, but due to the off position I'd say it's not worth it, it's better to spend less money and get a more central position further back, then you'll be able to enjoy the light show fully, too.

Joeyoh 25th January 2007 07:15 PM

Can anyone tell me exactly where section Arena B3 iwith seat 191?

I bought tickets and I want to know exactly where it is :)

immel 27th January 2007 07:20 PM

It's in the second row of blocks, it should be very close to the central stage.

Joeyoh 28th January 2007 12:10 AM

Thought so,

:) I am so happy!

Aleema 28th January 2007 05:16 AM

^ VERY promising gamble for A-block seats. 5th~8th. Not a bad gamble no matter what turns up.

http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/94252626
^ Hot seats in the center, gamble of B3 or B5 (B4 is the catwalk) from 1~24.

Problem: auctions are for 2 tickets. If anyone is planning to go to 3/11 concert, we can split the price. If I don't snag these, I'm still looking to buddy up for other pairs. Nothing cool gets sold separately anymore. =P

Translating often makes it worse. If you're just searching for a particular thing, you look for keywords, and you learn to recognize the kanji for what you want. And yes, the pictures help a whole lot. For concert tickets, you'll want to look for letters for blocks (A2, B5, etc) or the number 200 (200レベル/200LV) for seating on the sides. Most of the stuff in the title is filler, like where the concert is being held, the date, and how many tickets there are. But for one, you should know where you event is already, and you can always find out how many tickets there are in the description (2枚 = 2 people). Seats are listed with "列" and "番", one is for the row. In a translator, these kanji come out really weird, so it's best to just eye for them yourself.

Hatix 28th January 2007 03:30 PM

These are in Yokohama:
Center: A1 100-150
http://page14.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s48066814
Center: A1 50-65
http://page15.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t25996045
Center: A1 10-30
http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f50554314

they don't really show the block/seats in their pictures of the tickets, it's not very clear to me if those numbers are rows or seats...

And the block plan on yokohama-arena site, isn't very clear about the center either.

Those were seats. I believe 1-30 is in the first two rows.

Yes, every row has 20 or 25 seats, or something in between.

KyahRyorin 30th January 2007 05:19 AM

Jeez, Martin. I'm gonna need this when I go to Tokyo next year for study abroad. Thanks so much. ^^

Hatix 30th January 2007 08:02 AM

Wow, then, seats 100-150 are around row 6-7, those were actually quite good. But they eventually went for 50000yen.
But, good to know, thanks! Will keep you updated :)

Not necessarily. A1 block sucks. ^__^; It's close, but really hugging the left. You'd be the same distance away if you were in B3-B5, 'cept you wouldn't have to strain your neck. But that's just how I feel.

It's that 'wrong'. You have to be careful with Yokohama, this A6 is NOT in the center, it's on the side (a seat). If you see above the block number, it says arena (アリーナ), if it's in the center ("standing"), it says center (センター).
That's why A6 is not so expensive. See on the site of Yokohama Arena for the block/seat plan (but they only have block numbers for the side, not for the center, but you can see that there are only 3 blocks per letter in the center).

I do get confused with all of these seat numbers :thud

EDIT: Just found this link, quite helpful...

Is the ordinary ticket form like this picture?
Link : http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/3433/ticketja0.jpg
The ticket above wasn't used, it' has been expired...
It's only my collection now... ^^

immel 1st February 2007 03:15 PM

What do you mean when you say "ordinary ticket form"?

The tickets look different depending on from where you bought it, mine is TeamAyu tickets so they come with the big red A on them. But yeah, the text looks the same on all of them, the background is different.

~angel*ayumi~ 1st February 2007 03:31 PM

Can anyone tell me were this are located? (teh first are 3 tickets right?)

http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k42336127
http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d70796613

Here is Osaka Jo hall Sheet:
http://www.osaka-johall.com/sheet/images/stageB.gif

immel 1st February 2007 03:41 PM

Neither of them are arena (standing) seats, that's all I can make out. You need a reference where you can see which blocks are which.

~angel*ayumi~ 1st February 2007 03:59 PM

-___-
It´s so hard to find 3 good tickets near each other...
I want as close to the stage as possible 8and as I can pay xD)

kel64 1st February 2007 04:24 PM

Sorry, another ticket question :headache
Here is an example ticket...
http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b72860094

Now, this is located in this area, correct?

http://www.filepulse.org/files/42/pi...ther/where.png

Now, the C2 part, is that the middle block? Can't seem to find that out on the arena site.

immel 1st February 2007 04:37 PM

That's weird, they blocked out the text where it says if it's in the center or the elevated positions.

In the info lower down it says it's in the center, so what you encircled should be correct.

oro77 2nd February 2007 04:38 AM

I did not know tickets were already available, I am so late.

I will try to go to the Saitama one, I wanted to go to Yokohama too but it is during week days ...
I don't find any maps of the Saitama super arena, can someone post it here ?
Don't know which places are good or bad.

i intend to spend 15 000 yens for 1 ticket, do you think I can have good place?
(Not so easy to find only 1 ticket on Yahoo auctions, most of the time it's 2 tickets. My friends don't like Ayu.)

EDIT : I found this

http://www.geocities.jp/livehis/img/img_saitama13.jpg

I don't get this :

電子チケットぴあ 0570-02-9535
ローソンチケット 0570-08-4611
CNプレイガイド 0570-03-9800
e+(イープラス) http://eplus.jp

It is tomorrow, where should I go to get the tickets, please help me !

Hatix 2nd February 2007 09:25 AM

@kel64
It's not blocked out, it's above it, there it says in the center. Above C2 it says center (sentaa, センター). If it's the blocks on the side, then is says アリーナ (arena).

Like I said before :) Yokohama Arena is quite confusing, you just have to look at the right things. I found it by asking the same question, what is the difference on the ticket? By comparing a few, I found the answer. センター or アリーナ.

Center and Arena should be the same thing, at least the arena seats in Yoyogi Stadium is the same as what's called the center seats in Yokohama arena.

Your best bet is NOT to get tickets the official way, especially for something that sells out quick and it's not the presale. For ayumi, if you want even a remotely good seat, surf Yahoo!Japan Auctions or ticket.co.jp. I bought a ticket using Ticket Pia once, where you just print out the reciept and pay at the register in FamilyMart, but you should probably use a deputy service to buy the ticket from auction and ship it to you. See my PM.

JinHamasaki 4th February 2007 04:45 AM

So I'm looking at tickets...

Can anyone give me a rundown on what the ideal places to sit at? I mean, I know it goes from alphabetical order, but then some of the tickets begin with numbers?

So I guess I'm asking, what are the best seats for the best price? I figured it would be in the B and C seats, but I was thinking that maybe some of the side elevated seats won't be bad.

I was looking at this:
http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h44457820

immel 4th February 2007 09:11 AM

The price for them tickets is very cheap, and there's no bids, so I doubt it's very good seats. I don't know how Saitama Arena looks so I can't help you much, sorry.

oro77 5th February 2007 08:05 AM

I wonder why the concert dates are often in the week days.
I can only go to the Saitama ones.
I wanted to go to the Yokohama ones, but it would be hard, the concert begins so early.

There are also concerts to Fukuoka but I don't really know if I will go, it is pretty far. I wonder if the town is nice, maybe I can travel in Kyushu.

Has someone been to a Fukuoka concert ? I think it is small but I don't really care.:P

immel 5th February 2007 10:50 AM

The smaller the concert the better, Ayu wont be smaller if the arena is smaller, it'll be cheaper for you and you will be WAY closer to Ayu. Also, the sound will probably be a lot better if the arena is more decently sized.

Yes I think the same too. Ayu will be much closer to the public.
But it may be "too much" to go that far, only to go to see Ayu7s concert. Even for me ^^

So if the town is nice, I can spend a good week end by visiting the place and enjoying the concert after :)
I would go without problem if it was not so far from Tokyo.

If someone has already done it, please give some advice for the trip.
(I live in Saitama ken near Tokyo.)

JinHamasaki 6th February 2007 07:41 PM

I'm going to the Saitama concert on 3/11 but I am going to be in Tokyo for a week.

I looked at the railways and it's not that hard to navigate. Everything within Tokyo is about a half hour and the majority are much less on the rail.

I've never been, but I'm trying to organize a trip after my graduation in June to catch the last show in Fukuoka (at the Marine Messe) on 6/10, and then catch Mika's show (I forget where it is) on 6/12. :3 Maybe I'll see you there!

As long as you stay in the central parts it's extremely easy, because everything is displayed and said in both Japanese and English.

oro77 7th February 2007 05:40 AM

Yes it is quite easy but sometimes you can get lost easily in big stations :)

I forgot to give the link about the saitama super arena: http://www.geocities.jp/livehis/hous...saitamasa.html

It's a bit old but I don't think it has changed so much since.

Thanks oro77, I was just about to ask if Ayu's concert would have stadium seating or the arena seating...

I was kinda hoping for stadium seating, it would be so cool to surrounded by tens of thousands of Ayu fans!!!

Well, it looks like it'll be arena seating, so at least she'll be visible.
