yeah sort of.. the make up and the hair style really looks like the surreal era, but the clothes are not. back in 2000 the clothes weren't that classic. It's like her recent style is surreal hair + 40's to 50's clothing..

This is not from the calendar, it was shot in Miami. This is from her trip to LA. I believe the shooting sessions might be for her new album booklet.

She does have a drivers license, there's a subtitled episode of some show where she's driving, and they're talking about it. By the way, on one of the pictures in the scans she's in the middle of the road, I doubt she's just standing still.

ND CHOW is the guy. He's her photographer for many recent magazine photoshoots [the guy who photographed on my way / off my day / WE MEN / BLUE BIRD..]

I wonder if she had a row with Leslie, he seem to be gone from the Ayu world, hehe.

Leslie has been doing other projects, but he always[not for (m)u but w/e] comes back to shoot her concerts.

If you look in the pamphlets/tour DVDs, you would notice that Leslie Kee did the promotional photography. He also did the Startin' / Born to Be.. photoshoot [leaflet/cover.] Hopefully the chain is rebound by Secret so he'd have done RAINBOW - A BALLADS - Memorial address - MY STORY - Secret.

About internation licence, in Italy it works like that, when u get driver licence you ask for the international one and it will expire in a year, so as long as you have driver licence u can ask it every year.

My god. That has to be one of the best Ayumi photo spreads ever! Things I love:

1. It's LA.
2. She has polka dot fingernails and a polka dot purse.
3. DOGGIE! <3
4. Cool cars.
5. She's totally channeling US celebs with a made-to-look-like paparazzi photo where she's wearing the grey top.
6. Funny faces (see "Secret cover" ;)).

Oh yes, the picture in Times Square with the wedding gown is my favourite of Ayumi's, let's just say the picture in LA with the wedding gown doesn't trail far behind. :)

It does not exist yet, if you know anyone or anywhere you can get Chinese translations of this magazine you will see English translations of it in the near future :).

^ The thing is, in big cities it's so normal to see crews doing photo shoots and the like, locals are probably used to it. But it'd be really exciting for an Ayu fan! In an unrelated note, I once saw a Japanese gothic lolita photo session in the FAQ Schwartz in NYC. It was odd, they were walking around the doll section but I'm not sure if the store needs to give them permission for such a thing.
