^ kuu fans think the opposite, you know, lol. ayu fans or any type of fans hate on koda kumi because she's KODA KUMI. if there's an artist who gets bashed on the most, i think it's kumi. and it's for the usual reasons too. her appearance and etc.. i'm tired of seeing that.

but seriously speaking, can we please just get back on topic? good for ayumi being the spokesmodel for gemcerey. the end. :P

Yeah. But there's an equal amount of Koda fans that does the same thing to Ayu. Of course, a lot also love both. I'm one of those. Though both artist haven't quite impressed me for the past 2 years. yes...thank you for pointing that out. I hate when ppl try to make it sound like ayu fans bashes koda and her fans doesn't do it to ayu...when I've seen worse and more bashing towards ayu. I won't deny the bashing towards koda but its been both ways

I think it's the age range of most of kumi's fans perhaps? oh well.

It seems like some Jpn fans arent that excited though. Cause apparently this company is known for bad business practices (like harrassing customers nonstop by phone...fooling them into thinking they won certain lottery event but ends up trying to force them to buy things and won't let them leave).

i completely agree. i'm over her poses and "cute" faces. they're just so old now.

i'm pretty sure it's real :-\ she's a fashionista haha. i think fur is one of those "to each there own" type of things. i myself don't own any and don't plan on owning it just because i have no need for fur...anything.

You also have to consider that they don't simply just shoot pouty lip shots... there's probably some sophisticated looks that got scrapped in the process. Does anyone happen to know if Sweet is targeted towards a younger audience or anything..?

I like seeing her smile with some teeth... It makes me so happy, but I guess smiles aren't dramatic and empowering like showing your fish lips and looking like you're drunk (well, that's what i think of when i see her with her open mouth xD)

It's pretty much a vicious circle. Something good happens to Ayu or Kumi and you see grumpy fans. This Koda vs Ayumi thing will drag on forever because there are enough immature people on the internet to fight over it. I like both but I'm happy to see Ayu getting a new contract. Lately Koda has been getting a load of contracts and losing one isn't a big deal.

I don't mind if it's on JPM but I hate it when some moron goes on a bashing spree on AHS, because this is an Ayu forum and supposedly we are fans of Ayumi and at least we should respect other Ayu fans.

The way I see it, Ku and Ayu are totally different, and not really comparable, due to the changes in music industry Ku got popular a little bit too late, so she will never be able to do what Ayu, Hikki and Namie did some years ago.I personally think that Ku has improved a lot the last few years and that her hard work payed off.

I wouldn't be 100% sure on that. I think I remember Ayu saying she doesn't own any real fur because she loves animals so much...but then again I'm sure she has real leather. I'm sure she just wears whatever they give her for CMs though.

If they do that, why are they still popular? If they really did that kind of stuff, they should be going to jail right now, no? :shrug I don't think avex would let their artists advertise for that kind of product.

That's a whole different story. They are almost all under 20 years old. Even the 20 years old still look young and fresh. Ayu's almost 30 years old.

I don't get why people think Ayu only lost this year to Koda because she released less. She dropped a double best album that everyone here said would wipe the floor with other female jpop acts and wound up doing no such thing.

But anyway A BEST 2 brought more than 1,400,000 anyway, so it's awesome.
