Mirror: its sound weird, but its an opening song, so never mind, opening song usually sound like this...i can imagine it being used for opening her concert

(don't) Leave me alone: i think the preview is not complete yet, but so far is very good song

GUILTY: i love this kind of song, so dark and deep. ayu can sing perfectly for this kind of song

Marionette -prelude-: like wonderland and something like that, or kind of RPG games music, i like it

Marionette: LOVE IT!!!

The Judgement Day: really cool, love it

MY ALL: like an opening for anime, its easy and catchy tune, after all dark and deep song, its really refreshing

I think you know TA Members aren't allowed to rip their albums, obviously :P And I found the interludes necessary, yes, they made the album looks more dark-ish. I just think it would be better if they would put 16 tracks in the album so.

I'm loving this album to bits. Just from the previews I can tell that it's going to be beatiful. The interludes are fantastic, and I do agree that it would have been awesome if there were 16 tracks. I'm really looking forward to GUILTY and Marionette. ^_^

Overall this album is kinda ROCKISH...really...this time it got the theme already...even glitter is popish...but u can feel it rocks at the same time

I said I wouldn't listen to the previews etc, before I get it, but since this time I won't get it for x-mas present I downloaded them. I love the album from the previews so far, it will be a very dark album what I think (if it weren't for glitter)

hmm and the beginning of guilty reminded of a song from Final Fantasy VII (Reunion was it I think) because of the bell at the beginning. When I definitly have money I will definitly buy this album, I really want it in my Ayu collection

I never said it was dumb, lazy or boring. I said it's not cool. We get less full songs, too many interludes that aren't needed. And "The Judgement Day" doesn't go well before "glitter" at all.

I still think the album tracks sound good overall. But I want to hear the full version before judging. I like Mirror, GUILTY, Marionette, it's prelude, The Judgement Day, MY ALL and reBiRTH. MY ALL is a good pop song. It's not overly cute at all. It's just good enough. The album obviously has a dark side. I can't wait to sit down and listen to the full album with lyrics translation in front of me. I wonder if I'll cry...

I don't get why Cloud_Honey believed that TeamAyu members get a sneak peek at the album [or even leaks] because mostly TA is just a place to get Ayu blogs, news and newsletters. That's about all a TeamAyu membership gets you.

Cloud probably had his ways of getting it, so let's just wait until it actually does leak for real, instead of questioning him about why he isn't. We'll get it sooner or later.

asongforxx, I didn't mean that you said the interludes were like that, it's just a comment to all the people who are like "WTF OMG 4 INTERLUDES WHY SO MANYEZZZ?" and said those things.. :o

I am not talking about leaks of mp3 or something. I think you know they receive their albums before the release (one week or some days). That's why I saw in AYUNITE, when I was there.

One good exemple is that TA member who received Secret one week before the official release and did photos of the album.

I don't think that was TeamAyu as much as it was the fact that the person got it from the Hong Kong "black market" thing...

Usually the stores keep the goods in the "back room" and aren't allowed to sell until XX.XX.XX, but some stores charge a little more and allow people to buy these releases in advance. I've never heard of a fanclub shipping copies of an album earlier than they're supposed to.. o_o

Exactly. You have to pay in order to get the stuff early. TeamAyu doesn't offer "early membership albums" as far as I know. It's probably just a coincidence that the person in question is also a TeamAyu member [although I don't know how they would be unless they have a connection in Japan..]

It sounds strange to me. Well, I will look at old topics about Secret photos in AYUNITE (oops XD) for see it.

i definitely like how personal this album's going to be. :) i'm gonna go crazy-Freud over this album, for sure. as for the previews themselves, i guess they're okay. i was more crazy about Secret's previews since we kinda didn't know what Ayu was going to give us. but i think i'll love Marionette & GUILTY the best.

As i have said i was VERY VERY hyped for this album, its sounding pretty good for now...the songs have this new sound, which is surprising...

Mirror: WOW! its really unique!! the marching feel and the beats....o mannnn..i too wished it were a full song.....damnn

(don't) Leave me alone: VERY GD! lovin it already....

GUILTY: i cant really feel this one...and yea, it feels (m)u-ish...but thats ok...i just hope that it might end off rather differently later....

Even though many found that glitter is out of place, and I thought it would be too, it seems to be.. quite in place to me. XDD It's like the gloom and doom at the start of the album, and then at the end of the tunnel comes the happiness again. "I still believe in love."

Yeah, kinda like that.

and then she realizes that she doesn't and that's where her glitter and "her ALL" comes from. This triggers a sort of "rebirth" in her so then she rethinks things and reflects on why she was the way she is in the "dedication ballad [as it seems to be..]" at the end.

I didn't think of that, I haven't watched a concert DVD since MY STORY because when (m)u concert was released I couldn't afford it - so I haven't been paying much attention to concerts. I usually just think of an album as it is and never think about concert performances.

It really does have a different flavor! 4 interludes packed into the end is a bit much, but most of them sound pretty interesting...I loved the interludes in Secret. I think I'll end p enjoying the first half of this album the most....all that delicious rock =)

I really love the dark album concept^^

The only ones I don't like are the happier songs on the album : glitter and my all.

Somehow I can't listen to Ayus happier songs aymore. They all sound so alike and boring to me.

I'm not feeling this album at all.. I really loved Secret when it came out, but this one... Nope, there's a couple of nice songs (basically the ones already out on singles) But besides that, the previews did not appeal to me that much. I hope the full songs will be better than previews.

My favorite tracks in Order (Interludes not included)

1) Marionette: finally! It's about time we get a song where the instrumentals, chorus, and verses are aaaaalllllll fantastic! This song is packed with emotion! I love this track.....gives me the feeling that I lost something very precious to me....then bam. When the chorus comes in...I feel....well stronger. Wonderful track....this should have definitely been the album title track......By far one of my top ten ayu songs of all time ^_^.

2) My All: I don’t see why everybody is saying glitter and my all feel out of place….I believe she put rebirth there for a reason…I mean seriously…one cannot stay depressed forever. Besides…..if she didn’t have happy songs.. it would just be rock rock rock rock rock rock rock rock….noooooo thank you. I like variety. My All is VERY uplifting….I love it ^_^. The guitars are also a very nice change. You rock Yoshio! This is very much an anime opening, hahhahah. And that is NOT a bad thing.

3) (don’t) leave me alone: this is a rock song…a very cool rock song, that makes me want to move….like until that day… and startin’ did! Very awesome song…reminded me of 1love…which is a good thing.

4) Untitled ~for her~: I’ll tell ya one thing….I liked this much better than secret….I could tell Ayu was really singing this for her deceased friend… the song wasn’t a depressing song…..more like “ We had good memories together, and I’ll never forget you.” Kind of song. Good way to end her album….in my humble opinion.

5) Guilty: I was disappointed with this song…I’ll admit…I would expect the album title track to be top notch….but alas….it turned out similar to (miss)understood (which I like more than Guilty). Although….one good thing about it is that she tried a new sound or a new type of song with it…which I’m glad…because some people love this song……it’s just simply not for me.^_^

Overall………………………………….AWESOME ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I agree with alot of people, glitter really throws off the album but that doesn't change how much I am in love with it, I am so glad I pre-ordered the CD DVD version. There is no doubt about it that this is ayumi's best album so far - she should dump her boyfriends more often- I know that sounds mean but if it puts out songs like this, then well...

I agree with Rody, it's very sad that there are only 14 tracks on this cd, This definatly puts all the previous album down, that just shows that everyone who said Ayumi was done after Part of me was dead WRONG lol, because I personally think that she is FAR from done with her career. Ayumi hamasaki is Amazing, for someone who can put out all these songs and as fast as she puts them out. With writing them all herself it shows that she is truly talented

Alot of ayumi fans I talked to around my school said she was done because she was getting old, I was like SHE'S 29!! (maybe 30 not sure can't keep up lol, but I'm pretty sure it's 29) She's not old at all! I mean look at Gackt, he's still awsome at 43. and Hyde is gonna be 38 or 39 in January and he's still awsome too. So age has nothing to do with it, so i'm gonna stop with my long rant and just say that This album is awsome and I hope it gets the credit that it deserves.

As for my favorite song, I think it will be a tie between Mirror, (don't) leave me alone, and Marionette. I think they are just awsome, Good Job, Hamasaki-san!

Sorry for wording my comment on the previews harshly, because I'm really not disappointed in the album at all. Since this is the direction Ayu wanted to go, and since she is venturing into new territory once again, I'll support the album. Hence why "I can see why it is being recieved so well". But, the question at hand is whether or not I like the previews. And I don't. But Ayu is still hood, so it's all good. I bet you are bamboozled.
